I just bought the RallyRaid level 1 rear shock with the hydraulic preload adjuster.. Not sure about the fork yet. I may cheap out and just to a spring kit in the left leg.. Will see. Great video! Minor point but when you show taking the damper rods apart you are using the spanner for the preload, you "should" ideally use the pin spanner for that, as wrenching against the preload mechanism "could" damage it, whereas using the pin spanner there is no chance of that. The pin spanner applies force against the outer housing of the assembly as opposed to the inner preload components.

The removal of the right fork spring is a problem for me. It went perfect in the video. Not for me. Any suggestions? 2022. Holes drilled and the snap ring doesn’t move. Help
Got it. For those having problems here was my fix. When he is using the tool to drill the hole in the fork tube he was putting hard pressure on the tiny fork spring. This allows for the snap ring to have no pressure on it from the spring. This is far more difficult than you see. I drilled the hole. Then used the taller aluminum tool. I put the base of the tube in my abdomen and put the edge of the tool against the edge of my bench to compress the spring and used a dental tool to push out the spring. Also on the left fork the bottom cap screw spins. I used ratchet straps top and bottom to pull them apart so the internal part of the cap screw doesn’t spin. Doing this by myself. Hope this helps at least one person.
I didn't see the top cap spanner on RR's website, or maybe i just wasn't using the right search term. Does it come with the fork kit? I found the the seal driver tool, but not the spanner. Any help?
The large pin spanner (for the top caps) comes with the kit, along with a small 22mm ring-wrench to keep in your trail took kit to adjust the preload as required.

There is a huge difference. The stock damping cartridge is tiny in comparison - you have three times the volume and adjustable damping, together with spring preload adjustment on both legs (there is now a spring in each leg, not just one). If you simply put a stiffer spring in the right hand fork it will overwhelm the already soft damping in the stock cartridge, leading to a pogo-stick like action when it rebounds... adding thicker weight oil will slow it down, but then make the small bump reaction feel harsh.
