just love seeing a starcraft marine just unloading at whatever they shooting at, always look epic while doing, along with that zergling bacon made at the end yum :P
@GuessIIIwho Just because you see 4 at first, doesn't mean there has to be 4 on the screen at all time. I say the fourth split off from the group to come around and evac Warfield and Raynor as is seen hovering down at the very end.
@skib1234 Because the drivers for PC gaming 3D requires the information to be there to get two different angles to show to each eye creating an illusion of depth. Pre-rendered scenes come with one angle.
Considering you thought that this scene was so good looking that you thought it was pre-rendered, I don't believe you when you say you're not impressed.
@Protoss450 In the mission before this cutscene Raynor was rescuing and assuming command of dominion forces. These banshees were probably 3 of the rescued.
@nexus1g You see 4 banshees in attack formation, and 3 only are bombing. I pretty much think that even tough "one may have split", the attack wave where one splits doesn't look really natural. but i guess that may solve the problem.
@Thejin2027 1. Because stuck in your arm is better than a single needle slicing it off. They also provide shielding from radiation and biological contaminants over the long term. What's more, they administer medical treatment directly to the sites of wounds, not to mention the actual purpose of modern suits-to permit heavy lifting (thus heavier weapons). 2. They do. 3. No. Read the manual. 4. That's why they fired several. 5. Units in the game are obviously representative, not literal.
@skib1234 If you're using NVidia 3D Vision or other 3D technology, it doesn't work with pre-rendered scenes. So I personally prefer real-time rendered cutscenes.
@distortion041 You do have to buy the program. The great part is you not only get full use of the program, but all the updates and future versions are free for life. :)
@isthisnicktaken If you've played Halo or read it, or seen Halo Legends: The Prototype, those suits are basically Mk I suits except smaller, less armed and armored. Kinda like comparing the Odin with the Thors
@999cheetos999 I believe that without weapons they are pretty much like a regular human (with some psi-powers). A regular human without armor is nothing compared to a hydralisk. So, too is a zealot harmless to a hydralisk without his psi blades. Protoss warriors seem to be less protected physically then regular marines, the only thing they can rely on for protection are their shields. Once these run out they are just normal creatures - flesh and blood with insufficient armor protection. Squishy.
@tzepesh20 Yes but we are talking about why Preator Fenix died in SC1. And his psi-blades failed when he was ambushed by the zerg. Without them he is harmless against hydralisks, no matter how good he is in hand to hand combat. Bare hands and energy shields vs spikes and claws fail no matter what.
@Equentor That's because Germany has strict censorship rules, any cuss words, blood and gore, or whatever is usally blotted out. I mean they replaced the Gibs in TF2 with Robot Parts
@tzepesh20 Correct. But he was at least almost dead...his body was salvaged and connected to a dragoon to sustain his life. He was definitely in a bad way after those hydras whacked him without his fancy psi-blades:D
Note that when raynor says: "General, you know i always have a card to play..." ===>4 banshees passes over him. At end: 3 banshees are seen. CONTRADICTION. I HAZ IT.
@Vegna24 It ain't a ghost rifle. That huge ass anti materiel rifle is the size of a small cannon(thin a bradley's main gun) so its probably is BIGGER than a ghost. still the point stands. He is Badass.
@Thejin2027 1. It makes you bigger, which helps you deal with bigger enemies. It also shields your body from indirect explosions, heat, etc. It also does help prevent the needle spines from just going right through you, killing you. 2. If you watch closely in-game, hydras do in fact have a melee attack at 0 range. Roaches do as well, allowing you to make better use of melee upgrades. 3. Look at the name, dude. Needle SPINE. 4. Well, it's a cutscene, not a gameplay vid. 5. Come on.
Yeah pretty much. Any word can be a compliment, words are just symbols that people twist to fit their own personal meaning through interaction with others.
@nexus1g They could at least keep option there for 2D / 3D and pre-rendered / real-time. And why first cutscene looks 10 times better than others? I think if they really wanted, they would do it.
@broli100 The First Scene is prerendered and with highpoly models, like a pixar movie. While I love those scenes it's what blizzard has done all the time. The other scenes are rendered in realtime on your machine, and are Blizzards way of telling you: "Yeah man we rock in every fucking way". I love those scenes, and actually like them better than the prerendered ones.
@Freddy1210 I meant as in how spent shells, and broken zerg parts fall into the ground as if it was melted butter... It just goes right in,,, idc how heavy it is, it shouldnt go right in like that,,,, Unless...as we suspected all along, its made out of CHEESE~~~~
@RoksonsSC2 You got to be kidding me right? 1. It's upload 2. convert the file from FRAPS to any kind of video file 3. Open the browser 4. Log in youtube and youtube account 5. Upload
Warfield could have just waded into the main Hive Cluster and punched everything to death, but made Raynor fight a holding action as the last mission for stealing his kills.
I love this cutscene. My computer's a piece of junk, so it was nice to see it in HD. Thanks for uploading!
love how they all have customized battlesuits
General Warfield: A Man who can punch a hydralisk and live to tell the tale
Warfield is such an awesome character, and he's the kind of leader you want as a soldier...tough, goal-oriented, but still concerned about his troops.
This isn't a pre-rendered cut scene. This is real-time rendered. Welcome to PC's true potential.
Would’ve preferred pre rendered.
@@Xavieus That's fair. It'll probably be 5 more years or so before real time renders are indistinguishable from pre-rendered.
best cinematic in the entire game
One of the more bad ass cut scenes in SC2.
just love seeing a starcraft marine just unloading at whatever they shooting at, always look epic while doing, along with that zergling bacon made at the end yum :P
goddamn, Jim is beyond badass.
These cutscenes are so kickass!
funny how almost everything that drops to the ground tends to dig in it quite easily... like that sniper bullet and the zerg nail or whatever that is
@GuessIIIwho Just because you see 4 at first, doesn't mean there has to be 4 on the screen at all time. I say the fourth split off from the group to come around and evac Warfield and Raynor as is seen hovering down at the very end.
@broli100 Some 3D monitors simply don't support pre-rendered 3D.
At the beginning:
Peon-*shooting shooting* *gets headshotted*
General-*does exactly the same thing*
Hey now, I played Rock 'n Roll Racing and The Lost Vikings on SNES back in the day. :D
I like how the standard rifle killed less zerg all the SC2 cut-scenes combined (0) than bayonet (1) and a punch to the face (1)
That's one of the best cinematics i've seen.
Love how the rounds are 8mm, but the riflebarrel is for like small tank shells :P
@nexus1g
You see 4 banshees in attack formation, and 3 only are bombing. I pretty much think that even tough "one may have split", the attack wave where one splits doesn't look really natural.
but i guess that may solve the problem.
H.E.V. = HEVishot ammo, usually placed in rifles for maximum firepower (high recoil though)
Tried that once in a firing range.
Nice vid btw :)
u saved my boys today... what boys there was nothing left of them
General warfield was obviously the first person to invent the destiny cloud fist.
@Thejin2027

man the gravity must be crazy on that planet... everything gets stuck on the ground after falling 1 meter...
@skib1234 If you're using NVidia 3D Vision or other 3D technology, it doesn't work with pre-rendered scenes. So I personally prefer real-time rendered cutscenes.
This is the coolest cutscene in Starcraft II, beats even the Artanis one.
I was thinking the EXACT same thing.
@frankvdg nvm, you're using 3D. But they could have given an option to use pre-render.
I chalked that up to hyperbole.
Dude when "the natives are getting restless" I would need to change my pants if it were me standing there.
@MikoGot I'm using FRAPS. You can get it at fraps.com.
@qtm100 not literally, it's just really hot there. The guy didn't take off his helmet, something took off his head.
@frankvdg That would have been an unnecessary delay to an already very delayed game.
I completely agree, it sounded the best to me in the Brood War intro from the first game!
@distortion041 You do have to buy the program. The great part is you not only get full use of the program, but all the updates and future versions are free for life. :)
Special Ability - Fist of Death: Warfield may punch an enemy unit in the face, dealing 200 damage. 20 second cooldown.
@isthisnicktaken If you've played Halo or read it, or seen Halo Legends: The Prototype, those suits are basically Mk I suits except smaller, less armed and armored. Kinda like comparing the Odin with the Thors
@kingchen10 Fenix faced a hunter killer, not a hydralisk (I think)
@999cheetos999 I believe that without weapons they are pretty much like a regular human (with some psi-powers). A regular human without armor is nothing compared to a hydralisk. love the bayoneting
so badass
I proudly carry the Warfield avatar when I play.
Jim Raynor with a Ghosts' weapon ... pure badass!
@Gandydast one got taken out by hydras ... or the 3 mutas we saw earlier.
Theres a reason why Banshees are my favorite unti.
"Hot enough to fry a man" yet they open their helmets. WTF!
@NoobSnoopy Uh...you mean mass Hydras UP? I mean with the Warfield Punch those Hydras are going down
@airbourne1903 those were banshees look at the propellers
@Equentor That's because Germany has strict censorship rules, any cuss words, blood and gore, or whatever is usally blotted out. I mean they replaced the Gibs in TF2 with Robot Parts
Does anyone know where I can download all SC2 High Quality Cutscene?
Especially this awesome one
@tzepesh20 Correct. But he was at least almost dead...his body was salvaged and connected to a dragoon to sustain his life. He was definitely in a bad way after those hydras whacked him without his fancy psi-blades:D
Note that when raynor says:

CONTRADICTION. I HAZ IT.
@Dragonzzilla
So you meant when he lift his arm the hydras arm cut off?
best cutscene from SC2, will be nice to see real Starcraft movie in future.
Marines got some serious Melee damage! Bayonets and power armor ftw!
Don't forget to "thumbs up" this video if you like it!
@ 1:00 thats from the generals days on the east side of Korhal
@TheElegantGabriel
This whole "x is a pretty cool guy. he y and stuff and doesn't afraid of anything" fad - where did it originate? arby n' the chief?
2:15 Thanks, ladies
@1palmtree1111 He probably had some SCVs or backup marines hiding in the bunkers
Warfield punch--Cooldown:40, effect: instant kill an enemy unit in melee range.
@Vegna24 It ain't a ghost rifle. That huge ass anti materiel rifle is the size of a small cannon(thin a bradley's main gun) so its probably is BIGGER than a ghost. still the point stands. He is Badass.
Only 2 people can cantrol the true power of the Falcon Punch... And one of them is in this video.
@Thejin2027
1. It makes you bigger, which helps you deal with bigger enemies. It also shields your body from indirect explosions, heat, etc. It also does help prevent the needle spines from just going right through you, killing you.

Did any one remember that sniper rifle had two lasers instead of one on some other version i saw?
i meant new consoles ;P
i played The Lost Vikings on SNES too;P
Lol! Love the reference to that infamous scene in Predators. "you magnificent son of a bitch."
Yeah pretty much. Any word can be a compliment, words are just symbols that people twist to fit their own personal meaning through interaction with others.
@999cheetos999 Unfortunately he didn't have armored arms to resist the teeth.
@nexus1g They could at least keep option there for 2D / 3D and pre-rendered / real-time. And why first cutscene looks 10 times better than others? I think if they really wanted, they would do it.

That is one big Sniper Rifle.
@SWBATTLEFRONT2 maybe thats why the rifle does little damage to the zerg
@RoksonsSC2 You got to be kidding me right?
1. It's upload
2. convert the file from FRAPS to any kind of video file
3. Open the browser
4. Log in youtube and youtube account
5. Upload
@nexus1g id looks like warfield's punch blowed up the hydralisk head
Warfield could have just waded into the main Hive Cluster and punched everything to death, but made Raynor fight a holding action as the last mission for stealing his kills.
1:18............................boss
@Equentor Just asking: In SC2 with the improved graphics, does the German Version have no blood or something?
@Equentor Not sure why they do that but its their choice
that is one heavy fucking bullet
@TheElegantGabriel warfield was like, "grrrr! I'm so angry! Ima put an angry frowny face on this hydralisk, see that shows I'm really angry!"
In all fo the trailers i only see hydras, mutas and zerglings... Where are the new units? like Roaches, banelings, infstors or broodlords?
Spend as much on a PC as you do on a console and you can get these graphics.
1:00 i can see SOO many falcon punch parodys
they are so badass it looks stupid. and there is too few man around, sc1 cinematics had epic scale battles
What are you talking about? This video is pure epicness.
@daexmachinus thats a perk of being a general :-)
@sasukesurvivorSCS I recorded them myself from the game.
0:47
IN SOVIET RUSSIA, GROUND HOLD YOU.
@TheElegantGabriel
Gen.Warfield: Raynor, you magnificent son of a bitch!
That made my day.
Heck, all they need is a few dozen banshees and they win.
how come the bullet shells are small but the guns really big
I just wish they made the marines machine gun sound less like a WW1 vicker machine gun.
what programm did you use after fraps do "downlode" the video to youtube?
*Out of Ammos and first Reaction from that good ole' Warfield* S***!
TBF considering the Hydralisk spine can punch through heavy power armor, I think that's justified.
Defensive wall behind them. Ignores it and gets shot by Hydras
