They are pretty comfortable, but the quality is not the best
Just a PSA... I followed through with this on my Crystal White NMD R2's and the finish was phenomenal. Don't worry about it being discolored, the sharpie blends very well. On another note, from a consumer standpoint, try going to a local Michael's store, I found the same oil-based Sharpie for $2 cheaper. Also, BUY TWO SHARPIES! The paint on the inside of the marker runs out quickly if you are coloring the entire boost section. This video was a great help and I hope that this comment helps some of you.

Thank you @HesKicks (& @dbt) for this, it works well! A few things to note:
1. The link in the description is to the ‘medium’ tip version of the Sharpie, but the one in the video is the ‘bold’ tip. I’m sure the medium tip will work also, and may even be better for certain touch-up scenarios, but the bold tip is definitely better for coloring large sections or the whole thing and the bold tip version also contains more paint because the whole thing is larger.
2. You should DEFINITELY use masking tape to tape off the parts you do not want to get paint on, like the dark outsole, the grey part (torsion control), and the heel counters, cage and uppers. Unless you have the triple white colorway, any spots that you get outside of the lines is VERY evident and hard to remove.
3. Although I have not had an opportunity to try it yet, I also got one of the black Oil Based Sharpie’s to touch up the black paint on the midsoles of my black and silver pair. I suspect that this will work just as well.
I took his advice and went to Home Depot and got it for 6$ ... I gotta say after everything I tried on my ultra boost 2.0 triple

I have this marker that is used for coloring car tires (essentially if you want to make some of the text on your tires white) and I decided to try it out. It is not oil based, I think it's just straight up white paint, but it did absolute wonders and the NMD's look brand new. It is not even glossy, the boost just soaked it up. Just a heads up that other markers might work too!

Oil sharpie if u don't use the oil based sharpie it will crack the boost
It works wonders.i actually look for beater boosts at thrift stores and online now.it is super fun to do and easy.just make sure to tape well.good luck

Yup just got mine today, they're awesome. If u ask me it's a waste of money to buy shoes that have are all white or have white soles because they'll eventually get dirty. I like having my shoes nice and clean and all black is the easiest way to keep it that way

What should I do about a scratch in the boost midsole? My pair got a scratch on the boost from scraping against a sharp object, and now there is a tear in the boost that looks terrible. Should I fill it in with white out or acrylic paint? Help would be much appreciated.

The best way to make the boost look like new is to use some Plasti Dip (white) from walmart for about $6 as well but trust me it will give you way better results and it’s a lot easier to apply as well!

How permanent is the colour? I've got pureboosts and was wondering if I could wash them with a normal brush and detergent without this spreading and getting into the fabric.

Solid vid. Same with JM - need JM premium brush for upper (e.g. flyknit, primeknit) or risk damage. The regular JM brush is fine only for the midsole, outsole and other non-fabric materials

heatforthefeet1234 it's actually not dirt ...just the coloring of dirt ... it absorbs into the boost because boost is actually sort of clear so this just allows you to absorb white because it's oil based
when you wear them and dirt gets on the boost and it doesnt come off, its dirt on the boost. what are you saying lol
This is comparable as to what happens with clear smartphone cases. It yellows over time. Sure dirt speeds it up. I believe its called oxidation

Do you need to prepare the boost tho like usig cotton balls with acetone on the boost first before painting?
would this work on mesh? I have some all white huaraches and the white mesh covering the toe has some dirt stains that just won't come out. Thanks!
I suggest also putting the ultraboost in a delicates washer bag or pillow case and putting it in the washer. Freshens the shoe and helps on the dirt.

Hey bro help me out! I bought some used boost but someone painted the foam with black paint. If i use acetone will it mess up the foam? Should I just go at it with a toothbrush and water? I’d appreciate any help

I have these same shoes in all white and my all I did was put my shoes in the washing machine and they look out of the box new every time. I use arm and hammer detergent (my preference) in hot temperature on lite cycle. No paints, shoe polish, never even had to scrub them. I'm not exactly sure where he runs/walks for the soles to get that dirty, but I'm a runner as well and mine have never gotten dirty like that.

Thanks for the video Hes! I've been wearing my pair of boost almost every day for 2+ years. The boost gets really dirty, now I can make them white again. Please do an update on how well/long the sharpie can hold or if it affects the boost at all.
okay so i just did this, and my boost was hella yellow so the improvement is kind of crazy, they're so super white now and i compared them to some deadstock ub's and it's actually whiter than those. what i would think about before doing this is that, one, the boost's texture is a bit different, like it feels different to the touch, two, if you look closely you can kind of tell that it's painted, though only slightly and it doesn't look bad, and three, you might have people say the boost is fake because of the way it looks now, because it looks a bit less glossy with the paint. overall if your boost was as yellow as mine i completely recommend it, the cons are 100% outweighed by the pros and this is a great way to make your boosts look like new

He Hes, how do u store/preserve shoes you don't wear?
Some people use shrink wrap, some use ziplock bags, some store in plastic airtight container with silica....not sure if leather shoes should be treated differently to polyester, prime knit, TPU.
So I tried this today on my NMD R2 and it started chipping and started looking messy after 2-3 wears. What am I doing wrong? I went all around the midsole and took me a good 40 minutes for both pairs because I was very careful.

that i don't know. i got a smaller one than he did, and im pretty sure i went through half of it. I think you can probably maybe 3 pairs? if that with one pen. but again it depends on the size you get and how bad your shoes are.

you can get it at micheals for sure which is where i got mine. i know walmart "carries" them but the two i went too only had a single fine tip one; if all else fails, amazon has them in different sizes and packs.

just a quick tip: you can absolutely repöace the soles. I had mine eeplaced by a cobbler, she put a Vibram sole on it. easy fix and not expensive at all
