I originally was going to draw Shanna the She-Devil, but decided to do a change up and draw Savage Land Rogue instead.
It was an easy change, both characters are essentially women hanging out in trees.

Thank you for the excellent tips! I practically grew up on art by legends as yourself during the 80’s and especially the 90’s!
As a sadly failed artist that lost out on realising a career in comic books (23.7 years ago, I was offered a job at CLAMP comics in Japan).
Gave up drawing (VERY rare art attempts in that period) until last August 2023, when I decided I want to try and realise my drwam once more now that I’m in my early 40’s.
Might be too late, maybe I’ll never be good enough, but channels like yours help more than the hundreds of dollars I spent since 2020 to relearn art skills.
The drawing women upper torso as a male, absolutely helps a ton in placing breasts lol.
The areas that still give me trouble in drawing women might be the hips. At least when drawing them standing still, I find the legs don’t quite look like she is standing on them with proper weight.
I seem to get posture right in other poses but I am a very right-brained artist. Mostly work from visualization and not systems like Loomis, Reilly, ASARO, etc.
I typically have to create my own systems but as a visual learner, I love videos like these. Fantastic work!
Apologies if I fanboyed here. To be remotely able to even communicate with an artist like Cho in the pre-internet days was almost impossible outside of conventions.
This channel should have millions of subscribers.
Rogue es simplemente preciosa.
You have a UA-cam channel!! You're an amazing artist.
Thanks for inadvertently encouraging me to get out of my art hiatus. Thank you Mr Cho.
Thank you Frank! Rogue has been my secret Marvel crush for over 35 years =D
Yes my favorite comic book waifu ✨ thank you so much master cho please more Rogue Drawings!!!
EDIT: I watched the video on premiere and the audio wasn't working but it seems fine now :D
The audio works fine for me?
Love it so much!!! More rogue drawings please ✨🥺💖 She's one of the best cómic waifus!!!
You one of my favorite artists since the 90's! Another great channel.
Lolz at the mid way mark about drawing a T-Rex. I remember a Liberty Meadows yeeaaars ago, when you just said, "don't feel like doing a LM, just gonna draw a big ol' monkey fighting a t-rex." You did, and it was, of course, amazing. Your passions have remained consitent!
It is a pleasure to see you drawing 😊
Amazing work!
Outstanding tutorial as always! Thank you!
Excellent
Magnificent, Sublime Beauty! Thank you Master Cho!
Excellent work Frank!
Amazing process
Genius, as always, Máster! ❤
Watching you draw makes me want to pick up the pencil again! I'd love to see you draw any character not named Orko from Masters of the Universe!
Amazing
Frank would love to see if you are or what type of references you have to help you find a pose! Love your work
Nice 💯💯💪
I have that exact same pencil, but I _still_ can't draw like Frank Cho.
But do you have the exact same paper?
Showed up for the tasty ladies, stayed for the art lesson.
More libery meadows pretty plzzzz
Hey Frank, what is your actual time to draw these?
I🖒your woman drawing's !
Dude, you fucking rock!!!!!!
캬ㅑㅑㅑㅑㅑㅑㅑㅑ 역시 조형 클라스 죽인다
Hey Mr. Cho why don't you start a "how to "video on comic book art online school. Please it would be great if you did.
How long did it take him to draw this piece ?
About 50 minutes.
@@frankchoartist fantastic. I'm drawing too. One issue I got is when it comes to shading anatomy and being subtile in showing it. It often ends up in a figure looking like it straight comes out of an anatomy book for medical studies
You lost me at, "I've drawn way too much Shanna." I mean it sounds like you're speaking proper English, but I just can't make it make sense.
Seriously though, thanks for the upload, it's fantastic to observe your process.
Shanna the She Devil is a Marvel character that is a sort of 'female Tarzan' and lives on the Savage Land with Kazar, another 'lost in the jungle' Marvel character. When Frank says he drew too much Shanna is because not only she is one of his favorite characters of all time but also because he drew the Shanna miniseries a few years ago co-starring Wolverine. And that was a book that he pitched to Marvel, not the other way around. And if you check out his art books, there are plenty of beautiful pics of jungle girls and cave women and what not. So yeah, Frank has done his fair share of "scantily clad girls wearing leopard bikini" alright.
@@RogerioPereiradaSilva77 Ha! Thanks for the info, but I was already aware. My attempt at a joke was meant to be understood as, "there's no such thing as too much Shanna drawn by Frank Cho." I can see where my meaning could get misinterpreted, though. Cheers!
@@njp4321 Haha! Yeah, it flew right over my head and I could have given a second thought before rushing to the keyboard. But you're _absolutely_ correct, good sir! There is no such a thing as "too much Shanna" by Frank Cho, indeed. Cheers!
