I've flown into Birmingham from Germany 4 times in the last few years. 3 of the 4 times it was either raining, or rained shortly after landing. 2 of those 3 times were in the middle of summer.
Going to be doing this flight in the summer. Particularly looking forward to the outward trip, since I've got Business Class (was only £10 more than economy).
Okay, no yawning allowed! Was that you at 1:40.50 aprox? Just kidding. I know when you yawn you've either had a good flight or you're wiped out. Great video. The sound was so-so, but I think that's just because of where you were sitting. I'm just so glad you are still flying. I wondered why there hadn't been any videos in a couple months.
Heather stubbs Haha it was more to do with being wiped out! This was the home leg of BHX-CPH-TXL-FRA-BHX with a busy schedule in TXL too! I've just bought a new mount that should improve the sound quality going forward. And plenty more full flights on the way, with another filming trip at the end of May to include Ukraine, Belarus and Georgia, and a Tupolev 154 :-)
this flight goes right past my house! wanna visit frankfurt for a spotting trip and the price of this isnt bad. just gotta leave school and get a job first ;) great video
+Seans Travel And Planespotting Videos Fantastic, you can pick up flights pretty cheap to AMS and ZRH at least, Madrid a little more but still good value for a day! Good spotting at MAD, you can go to a mound south of the airport and see all the arrivals, lovely warm weather there too :)
I just wonder if the GoPro has a microphone attachment to make the sound "surround-sound"? That's my main conplaint about the sound, because the GoPro is not known for good sound. Panisonic and Sony make some really nice sounding cameras, and if you put headphones on, you'll really notice the difference. Someone told me you could buy a microphone attachment for the GoPro, but I've never heard that with the GoPro. Thanks.
Heather stubbs You can get a USB mic, but unfortunately it uses the only USB socket, which I need for charging, especially on flights longer than an hour which is all the battery lasts for :-(
+TheGamerverse It's the PTU, a pump that transfers the hydraulic fluid to where it's needed for landing gear, flaps, gear doors etc and keeps the pressure up. It's quite noisy on the Airbus, especially when you sit near to the wing (directly above the pump), especially so before engine start, on gear retraction and after landing when the aircraft shuts down and the pump is working hard to keep the pressure up in the absence of the engines :)
YT downgraded the full flight vids to 360p :( But they are all in 1080p and some in 4K to Patreon supporters, only because I have to pay for the hosting there. Hope you can check it out :)

Nope I'm in North Notts, about 1:30 from BHX but it's my preferred airport as it's just off the motorway and has a great choice of flights. Always efficient too, unlike my nearest airport EMA which struggles sometimes.
Awesome! We have the pick of airports where we are - EMA is about 30 minutes away, Birmingham about 1:30 and Manchester the same (but Manchester is across windy lanes over the Peak District).

The A320 is actually pretty big and spacious when you're onboard. Very wide with lots of room :)
