Hi Poshcats, myself and my wife Sue are also Suffolk people and went here just before 'the virus' hit. Fantastic site. Hotel class shower blocks, superbly maintained grounds, and that brilliant pub/entertainment building on site. We came 3rd in the quiz night event, as the 'Fruitloops'. It was all certainly worth the trek from Suffolk. Top tip . . . don't tell friends you are are off to Melton Mowbray, or you end up with a shopping list for Pork pies that you have to keep fresh and cool before you can hand then to them! Thanks guys for your entertaining vlogs.
Thanks Alan, we really enjoyed our stay here. The bar and restaurant were very nice indeed but we didn’t have a meal. We were very impressed with the friendly staff on site and definitely recommend the site. Haha I like your advice about pork pies 😂 They were so nice, even Sue joined me with a pork pie salad 👍🏻😃 Trev
I am amazed at how well kept and elaborate the facilities seem to be at your campgrounds....
This one is particularly good with very nice washrooms and a clubhouse with bar and restaurant. The fishing lakes and all the roads on site are also very well presented. Lovely place to go camping 😃🚐 Trev

Great video, we are heading to Eye Kettleby on Thursday for a few nights, staying on Southern section, will be our first visit and looking forward to it, but Westgate Carr in Pickering on Monday then over to Eye Kettleby 🤙🚐

Fantastic value for 3 nights, I prefer the winter months more cosy!
We thought it was quite good value and a very comfortable campsite. Winter camping is very different to the summer for sure. We love it too 👍🏻😃 Trev n Sue
It's a great site, can't believe Southern Meadow was empty on my walk around, we were on Pitch 26 in the cul-de-sac, no cheese so can't be a ploughman's 😂🤣😂
The site was pretty full when we were there as they had the Rat Pack entertainment on the Saturday evening. Even so, it was very peaceful. 😃 Haha Cheese would have definitely made it a Ploughman’s 👍🏻 Trev
I've never been to Melton Mowbray but drove past it on way to Nottingham once. Looks like a nice place.

Hi Trev and Sue, the site is very well laid out and seemed to go on forever, loved all the lakes you could walk around. So pleased you got your Melton Mowbray pork pie and it looked very nice too. Glad you enjoyed the Rat Pack, the facilities there were very good x

Great video of the campsite looks really vast and well arranged with what looked like pretty good views. Rachel liked the heated individual showers. Shame about the height barriers into the park, I saw Bobs video and was funny to see the two perspectives. Great tip on the cafe, we’ve added the site to the to-do list, and of course the pie. On a mission for food? Been there done that LOL. On pork pie heavier lol. And on to a cafe. This is like a serious food and drink mission. Looks like a really nice campground. I enjoyed seeing all the food. Of course, one of the pups would be very interested in what you're eating lol. Darbi always gives me that look like she's starving. And sometimes it's right after she's eaten LOL.

Another good vid, are sites becoming more and more expensive? £100 for three nights is getting close to chain hotel and bnb prices. We are being asked to supply the hotel and pay for the room.
Yes Ian, sites and clubs are seeing their costs go up and up. I hope that more sites will offer a basic non electric hardstand pitch at a discounted price so camping remains affordable 👍🏻😃 Trev
