I'm gonna look for this gently used 2 year down the road. I think this car is perfect for a guy who wants to go fast and needs back seats for his family
I just bought a black 2016 Q50 Red Sport 400 for $37,000, 9k miles. It's being shipped to me so I should have it in a couple of weeks. Can't wait. Appears to me that because Infiniti has so many great lease deals on their new cars a 2 year old lease return has great prices and there's an abundance of them.
Literally all they need to do is fix the steering, add Apple CarPlay/android auto, add cooled seats to the front, and new navigation system and its perfect cmon Infiniti!!!!!
If you buy a Q50 without the "Driver-Nannies", the steering is still Hydraulic from what I've been told. If that isn't correct, someone please advise me otherwise :)
You should check out Savage Geese, he's got some of the best car reviews out. His attention to detail and quality is top notch., from his car review to the effort he puts into the cinematography. You need to see his Mitsubishi I-Miev review, he turned that POS into a blockbuster movie trailer!
These are hands-down the best reviews. Your 2012 G37 review is part of the reason why I own one ! Keep up the good work..... I definitely want to upgrade to this guy !
Infiniti is on a roll exterior wise. They can compete with the best of them as far as looks are concerned 2017 Q60, QX30...all they need to do now is give their current interiors to Nissan and create an interior EXCLUSIVELY to Infiniti...make it special and expensive and trust me they will be a force to be reckoned with in the auto industry. Currently they are getting their revenue up with the introduction of the QX30's. This will be the coins they use to get the interior just right. Exciting times...stay tuned.
They do. The interior is not consistent. They have nice materials on the door panels, but then transition to glossy plastic on the dash. Also, the dual screen is ridiculous because the top screen has much worse graphics than the bottom. Get rid of it, and create one big screen. Be consistent like the new C class interior. Also, they need to work on the steering...if you want to be insulated from feel, then get a large luxury sedan. I think some manufacturers are trying too hard with merging luxurious handling with sporty handling. It's a SPORTS sedan, so it should ride as close to one as possible without the harshness. The first mistake they made was getting rid of the old steering rack. Go back to feel please! They may need to contact Cadillac and Porshe to resolve that issue.
Great car,but the gauges on this is the same on my wife’s 2016 Nissan Pathfinder....no difference from Nissan line....also the Maxima has better interior and better gauges
Okay, I bought a black 2016 yesterday... it's being shipped to me here out west. It's 2 years old, has only 9k miles on it and I picked it up for $37,000. Can't wait for it to arrive. I traded in my '13 G37x. I haven't even driven a red sport 400 yet, so Sofyen, I'm counting on you buddy! Heh. What I have noticed is that there are TONS of lease return Q50s with very very low miles on them. I've heard Infinti has great lease deals, but half of the 2 year old Q50s have less than 20k miles. There's not a lot of Q50s Red Sport 400s out there on lease returns, but the prices are good considering that new they run $55,000 or so. YAY, thanks Sofyen for the review... I know you didn't like it as much as some of its competitors, but it's my third Infiniti as I'm rather sold on the brand.
I have Infiniti and Lexus they are both good. I think they just target different segments, Lexus IS more at th luxury side and Infiniti is more sporty. Both great companies.
The Lexus IS-F will always be one of my favorite cars but i'm glad they discontinued it as the current gen IS-350 I don't find as attractive. The GS-F that replaced it is nice but I just hate the front end. Why they separate the headlight like that is beyond me. The regular GS350 looks way better as it has a traditional headlight housing and the large open-mouth grill is divided by an actual bumper. I really wish the front end of the GS-F was more like the base GS350 with maybe more aggressive angles on the lip of the front bumper or something.
Not much better to me. I thought the Lexus was just quieter, that's about it. It was actually much rougher and tougher riding then I thought it would be. I test drove 2 when my girl was looking at new cars a few months back. Not bad at all, but Q or Lex? Q for me, no question. She liked it better too.
It’s crazy how much these Q50’s are going for in a used market nowadays, the 7 Speed might not be perfect but for a DD even the Silver 3.0T is pretty damn fast as well. The handling well the aftermarket is the answer.
I've deleted all 6 of my car review channels. You are the ONLY car review channel I need. I you complete me. lol ok I'm done. No back to watching your reviews.
Check out savagegeese he's so down to earth with his reviews as well and even gets down to the little details that most people overlook in car reviews.
I've heard those Q50s are like the best sedan made by Infiniti motors. I was thinking about getting me this exact car but in Hermosa Blue. I love the way Infiniti does their blue colors. Deep sea or aquarium blue is what I would call it.
Inifniti/Nissan send a lot of manufactures a run for their customers. Nissan builds the Z and the GT-R. They know performance. Others just rebadge their performance cars and increase the price. Nissan not only creates amazing sports and performance cars but they make them affordable, and they are easy to maintain and reliable. You don't do reviews man, you do commercials. You explain the purpose of the car then give you option, others just say how the car should be made. You know what you're talking about. I have a 2013 G37x and I came from a BASE TSX, and everything you say about acura is correct, its for people who want refinement not performance, and that's why i got rid of it (it wasn't for me). I hope you get the new STI soon, i hear its being updated.
I've had mine for a little over 3 years and I have to say I agree with his review 100%. I've had zero problems with the car, just wished for more tech from day one... But that engine tho...
Had that "Oh S*#@t" moment at 14:35 when I test drove this car. Was cross shopping the C43 AMG and Audi A6 3.0T. Neither of those cars gave the same acceleration and power that this one did. So mine's on order for tomorrow. :)
Haha that's my infiniti...and u are by the way my favorite auto blogger/reviewer....keep it raw keep continuing to keep it real. Reactions and all its refreshingly authentic...
Nice review! I really loved this cars design when it first came up but, I am growing to love it's competitors a little but more when it comes to style. The new Q60 really looks incredible, though! I cannot wait until I can see and review one in person. Keep up the great work!
I love my TLX but holy damn, I wish Acura would step up their game for their engines. Would love to see a Type S TLX in the 4cyl variant and a twin turbo engine in the V6 as well :)
Great review. Really love what Infiniti has done with their coupe. All I have to say about the IS-F is turbo lag. The turbo lag is so bad that it detracts from the driving experience.
I've owned a 2006 G35 coupe, 2010 G37s coupe, and currently drive a 2015 Q60s coupe. So I'm really used to hearing the VQ wail. I totally thought the video was sped up when you were accelerating lol. Nice car, I will wait for a few years before i trade again.
I think the exclusion of a manual transmission is a missed opportunity. It would have made it stand out since only the BMW 340i is the other car that has it in this class. Infiniti says they compete with the Big 4(Mercedes, Lexus , BMW & Audi) but we all know that is not the case. Many consider it to be a premium brand rather than an out and out luxury brand. But with the introduction of the Red Sport model, do you think this is a good platform to start and in the near future catapult Infiniti to the prestige levels of the Big 4? FYI i don't care about the badge at all. But 80% of the customers do and unfortunately that matters a lot when it comes to the sales figures.
We think it's a start to elevating them to tier-1 status, but until Infiniti invest more money on their interiors, luxury buyers will have trouble seeing past the Infiniti badge and really only see a gussied up Nissan. However, we do think value minded shoppers looking for speed and aren't used to the kind of luxury the Germans offer will find plenty to like about this car.
Very true. Would I rather have an audi or bmw over my old school 1st gen G35? Sure, but would I pay more for it? Nope. I get all the fun, minus a tiny bit of luxury for a lot less $.
I have the wood trim instead of the aluminum, and it really makes it feel entirely different. I hated the look of the g37 with the aluminum trim, but the wood is just completely different.
they still didn't fix the steering system it's lifeless. they should have put the G steering in the red sport or atleast made it a option why infiniti :-\
I just broke 1000 mile and I love the car. You have to go to "M", "AMG", or "RS" to get more HP and you'll be in the $70K range rather than high $50K range. Nice review, two common complaints from owners and I agree, it's too quiet (Stillen has a Stage 2 catback specifically for the Q50 RS400 coning out shortly) and the Dunlop Sport Maxx summer run flats get easily overwhelmed, they will turn into plus size Pilot Super Sports down the road. The Red Sport is a tweener size too, between 3 and 5 series BMW or C and E class MB's, it hits a lot of the right buttons. I shopped 340i , C450 AMG, and S5, the Red Sport was quicker and has more tech, some of the German interiors were slightly nicer but I'll take the savings and performance, 0-60 4.4 times are legitimate, HOLY SH*T was my first comment too.......
Do you still drive this car? There's a used one of this year at my dealership for sale with 78k miles. What would you say long term for this car? I am concerned about reliability
@@richardwilson8404 Can't say, traded it for a GV70 3.5 Sport Prestige Nov. 2021. The Red Sport had very low mileage (14K), I had no problems, but I can't say about long term reliability, it was a fun driver.
5:50 - the Audi has the only "virtual cockpit" in the industry and they just released it in 2016 after years of development. But Sofyan expects it right away from all competitors. Seems like an unrealistic expectation.
We never stated that we expected something similar immediately. Understandably, it will take a year or two for manufacturers to develop something to rival it. However, if you are in the market for a new sport sedan right now, the Audi A4 is hard to ignore for the same money.
You should really give the Steer By Wire system a chance. It's a love-hate thing it seems. A lot of the large auto magazines dislike it but smaller reviewers like it (ie. CNET, Motormouth, etc). I personally enjoy it in our 2015 Q50. Steering response is incredible.
Completely Disagree. I test drove Genesis 70, 80, and 90. This car smokes them in every way. Genesis is still cheaper alternative and very vanilla. Genesis is a great car but not an Infinity.
maxima is like camry... can you imagine camry with 400hp turbo engine? no one gonna buy it, because cars like maxima, accord, camry are for socker moms or older people, young people never buy them
I'm actually not a fan of the LED/Screen dashboards on some new cars. This one's traditional dash is more my speed (no pun intended). Awesome video as usual. Glad to see you doing, hope your subscriber number keeps climbing.
Get off your knees for the Germans. This interior has been out since 2013 and was the first in the game to offer 2 large screens, packed with driver assistance tech (that all other brands now use) and customization features before ANYTHING out of Germany could. Prior until Audi's virtual cockpit came, NO interior in the class was on par, so get your shit together little guy and give less biased reviews.
The interior needs work. It's on par with a freaking Maxima, when it's supposed to show distinction. It's not bad, but it's not great either. The doors use beautiful inserts, but then it transfers to glossy, cheap looking plastics on the dash. No consistency. The dual screen is silly, especially since the graphics are worse on the top than the bottom. Again...no consistency. Because the screens take up so much real estate, the only way to style the interior was to make nice door inserts like I mentioned. They need to take notes from Mercedes. When you step into the new C class, you know its special (minus the steering wheel mounted gear selector). Infinity also needs to improve the steering. if you don't want steering feel then don't drive a SPORTS sedan. I think they have one of the best motors in the class, they just need to bring the rest of the car up to that standard so it's consistent. What's the point of having a great motor when the steering is crap? I would be less critical of the driving dynamics overall, was amazing...but it isn't. I looked at the New Q60, and the exterior is stunning, but the interior is a let down.
Great review. I totally agree with the chassis and steering. I was hoping that those issues would have been improved. In addition to your suggestions, I hope Infinity incorporates similar lights that they used on the new Q60. The Q60 headlights merged the turn signal in the same light, rather than placing them in the front bumper like the Q50. I also think they should alter the taillights as well. The biggest change must be better steering and a revised dash. Get rid of the dual screens, and make the interior feel more special. Overall, I think it's a great car...they just need to get back to what made the original G great with some upgrades.
I have this car the 2017 model I simply love it the only thing I do not like about the car is it does not have the signature exhaust tone that infinities are known for! Infiniti drop the ball on this one! Other than that the car is great
+justin bouche What are you talking about ??? Why don't you just shut up !!!! you know nothing about this new 4oo hp engine.... I've test drove this new engine at my Infinity dealership and that new engine pulls way more than the 3.7... way more....nearly 100 lb-ft more than the 3.7 ...... so, next time, clogged up, get lost and shut up.... GO AWAY Einstein.. you know NOTHING, sickfuck !!!
What an angry fellow lol The 3.7 is pretty awesome with a great linear power band.. of course a turbocharged engine has more torque. I'm a fan and prefer NA engines but I imagine the Nissan/Infiniti evolution for their engine had to end up going the turbo route. They'll probably put some version of (or this exact) engine into the next Z car. I wanna test drive this new engine to see how noticeable the lag is. Calling it "red sport" without red stuff is kinda dumb though haha
It's a very nice looking car, sounds great from what I can tell in this video too The large screens looks great It's an excelling offering from Infiniti.. Hope it does well for them
it looks dope in white, that old-lady maroon did look a bit sad the led eyebrow screams 5 series. Btw your reviews have evolved to be very polished and buttoned down but still maintains that BEY signature character. Nice.
We liked the white too, it was one of the first white Red Sport models we've seen. Looked good with the dark wheels and the accessory rear-lip spoiler.
q50 is meant to be silent and fast, but it could do with some slight advancements, the whole point is to keep it minimal and oldschool with a touch of lux. Similar to megane RS., very basic early 00's interior, but whats lurking under the hood, is a beast waiting to unleash.
I have an 07 TL Type-S and this thing doesn't offer anything over it except the more powerful 400hp engine and SOME extra features but at the higher priced package trims. Infiniti is crazy to price this much over $50k, they do not offer the options and luxury of a similarly priced BMW.
Son37Lumiere 400 hp awd car it starts at 48k isn't too bad.. lincon wants 60k+ plus for there 400 hp awd continental .. acura wants 60k+ for there AWD rlx 377 hp hybrid shit even the ford sho 365 hp starts at 40k awd cars with over 350 hp aint cheap anywhere man I'm just saying
Seriously, the key fob is perfect and I hope they never change it. Many times auto manufactures change things just for the sake of change and end up with shit.
This guy sucks and should be FIRED! I own this car and I love it.. It's fast and luxurious and get a lot of attention driving it. And I have had a lot of cars in my life and its an all around perfect car.
@Redline Reviews As usual, excellent review! You are not alone in your assessment of the the needed chassis refiniments of the R.S. How could Infiniti put this balls to the walls powertrain in a car with wobbly knees!? Then there is the interior, which let's face it: It should shame a Maxima Platinum(even an SL model), except it doesn't. I really hoped that Infiniti would have combed over the car more on the mid-cycle enhancement than just implanting this awesome powertrain. We know that Nissan has the pockets for R&D. But at $55k as equipped, it would be hard to pass up a light-optioned C43 for this.
Praise for the Skyline GTsT/GT-T has returned! For me, there's no real difference between quality in Nissan/Infiniti especially when they're built for performance more than anything. Infiniti is simply Nissan's way to get their performance models to a global market, luxury is more of an incentive for these imports. However, the quality is different when it comes to domestic econ cars such as the sentra, maxima, and altima that are built here as opposed to the Tochigi factory.
Yeah... I’m sure that feels much faster than my 2011 335 ... if no 340 might have to grab one of these they just look great and probably more reliable then a bmw
Serious question; I am looking at the 2016 infinity q50 base & the 2014 Lexus IS 250 base . Both under 30k and under 15k miles used . Which one should I go with and why ? All opinions are welcome. Thank you .
This vehicle diameter is in the midsize sedan range and not the small sedan range. In regards to power out put and 0-60 times it puts it right in the range of the Audi S6. The Audi S6 IS 194.2 inches in length and the q50 is 190 inches in length
Just recently bought my wife one about a month ago, Black obsidian AWD (Canadian model) with tech package. She loves it so much she won't let me drive it . LOL. I'ts okay I daily drive a QX80 and also have a Nissan Murano Platinum as a winter beater (was my wife's).
So after watching this review for the Q60, I immediately went back to watch the review for the Q50 as well. Good stuff, but seeing the sheer joy on your face and hearing the suprised expletive from your mouth when you stomped on the gas in both cars, a question entered my mind. "How would this compare to the Chevy SS?" Sure, the SS isn't a true luxury vehicle like the Infinity, but it most certainly has ample get'up'n'go like these do, right down to comparable horse power ratings thanks to its prior generation 'Vet engine. So in the not too distant future, would please you do a full review of the Chevy SS? I'm rather curious about how it stacks up!
This was on my list for when I was looking for a fast 4 door sedan. Ended up buying a Dodge Charger Scat Pack instead. Q50 still pretty sweet ride though.
The sound reminds me of a video game. Obviously laptop speakers aren't giving the true sound.. but give me actual induction/turbo/exhaust noise any day.
Excellent review Sofrey, I'm sad to hear the traditional rack is numb. Heres hoping they give the refreshed model more of an edge, and offer a sport exhaust. :)
I have the 2.0T model WITH electric hydraulic power steering (so no steer by wire). It won't have the same power as the 400HP 3.0T V6 model (0-100km in 7.2-ish seconds for the 2.0T engine) but I like the usual and traditional feeling of my steering wheel which includes bumps, rocks and jerkiness. Is the Red Sport available with electric hydraulic steering or only steer by wire?
Actually, I believe there is a difference in the steering systems used. According to the Infiniti website, the 2.0T model's steering is listed as "Vehicle-speed-sensitive Hydraulic Electronic Power Steering" while the Red Sport model is listed as "(Fast Ratio) Electronic Power Steering". You mentioned that you can't really feel the grip of the tires but I can tell you from the steering offered on my model, the steering wheel twists and turns when going over rocks, pot holes and bumps, typical of a traditional hydraulic steering. Still I will agree with you that the inside cabin noise can be improved. :)
Hello Sofyan, I'm a college student and I'm buying a new car my choices are between a Ford Fusion SE, Chevy Cruze or Kia Optima Sx limited. I need something reliable, good mileage, have space in the back because I carry a lot of friends, something that ride smooth and has a good sounding system because I listen to music a lot. What would be the best for me?
From those 3, the Kia Optima SX-L will have the most features for your money. Depending on your budget of course. The long warranty, sleek design, and spacious cabin may be enough to sway you. Good luck!
I am having trouble choosing between a 1 year old CPO Red Sport Q50 loaded with AWD or a new 2018 Kia Stinger GT2 AWD. I will have the occasional need to haul 5 people once in a while for local short trips, the kids did fit fine in the Q50 back seat. I love both cars a lot the only thing is that I am not a fan of the Q50 infotainment system and the Stinger's is perfectly fine and I found it intuitive but worried about the quality and longevity of both vehicles but more so for the Stinger. What would you choose between these?
To all uneducated people who write dumb shit about this car! All 2020 Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400 sedans are motivated by a 3.0-liter V-6 engine with twin turbochargers. This powerplant delivers 400 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available for those who want improved grip. So stop writing dumb shit and that it has a CVT!!!
I'm gonna look for this gently used 2 year down the road. I think this car is perfect for a guy who wants to go fast and needs back seats for his family

Once again Nissan/Infiniti showing us they know how to make a damn good V6
now all they need to do is get rid of that awful CVT
+Jim ee yes. lol the sooner they get rid of it, the better
+Jim ee right
+Jim ee or at least offer a manual transmission in their cars

This is what Lexus couldn't do with the IS350 F-Sport. They should take notes from Infiniti.
Lexus is doing fine without any help from Nissan of all companies.

Personally love the 2015 year the most because it come with a naturally aspirated v6
I love my TLX but holy damn, I wish Acura would step up their game for their engines. Would love to see a Type S TLX in the 4cyl variant and a twin turbo engine in the V6 as well :)
Looks like you got your wish
Do you still have your TLX?
Great review. Really love what Infiniti has done with their coupe. All I have to say about the IS-F is turbo lag. The turbo lag is so bad that it detracts from the driving experience.
15:54 speeding thru a 35 mph zone at 65 mph on the odometer. nicely done !
Iam gonna share this channel wider among Asia with ur permission Sofyan...ur the best car reviewer to date...
they still didn't fix the steering system it's lifeless. they should have put the G steering in the red sport or atleast made it a option why infiniti :-\
@@rmyAddison thank you for your reply 🙏
Still one of the best cars I can buy one used.
Yeah, buy the one I had tuned at +7 psi over stock, then dumped onto the used market. Enjoy the liability. “Good deal”
@@MikeJohnson-ej4ocwow you seem fun. you just voluntarily made yourself look like a douche, congrats.
@@MikeJohnson-ej4ochow did you not know beforehand 😭
The Q60 just looks so much better, but this is such a good car.
i want to see subaruwrxfans reaction to this!
lmao, if he tests this car, when he accelerates hahahaha that trademark squeal/laugh like a little boy is gonna be sooooo funny.
probably jizzz everywhere and then giggle.
+Haris Qureshi yea, it was heck funny
He'll have the same 'copy and paste' reaction he has for pretty much every single car he slams the pedal on.
he's testing one in 2-3 weeks I was talking to him in his new brz video.
Actually from 2014-2015 the Q50 Hybrid was the most potent and still offers the most torque ever in a Q50/60. 0-60 4.8S. Love mine lol
You're an idiot
+Redline Reviews It's pretty much the only option if you love and care about technology.
Subscribed! This is what I call a review. So detailed!
That thing sounds like an old RB26 Skyline lol
Interior is ok on these, but I still love the way they look! Can't wait to drive/ test one myself :3
The Driveway interior is sexy compared to bmw interior nothing exciting just basic
You should really give the Steer By Wire system a chance. It's a love-hate thing it seems. A lot of the large auto magazines dislike it but smaller reviewers like it (ie. CNET, Motormouth, etc). I personally enjoy it in our 2015 Q50. Steering response is incredible.
Nissan and Acura need to step up their luxury game or else Genesis will eat them up once they flesh out their brand and lineup in time.
Fast forward it was actually KIA
Not!
Completely Disagree. I test drove Genesis 70, 80, and 90. This car smokes them in every way. Genesis is still cheaper alternative and very vanilla. Genesis is a great car but not an Infinity.
Steve Jackson Genesis already is eating them up!
Rick Clark that’s your opinion. This car is getting old as it still looks the same today!
FINALLY!!!! A luxury car that I will do nearly ANYTHING FOR. I felt the same way at 14:07 man. OH MY GODDD!!!
Ndasuunye oh hell yessss!!!@@$%#?
Yea they need to keep that up with the Maxima's too, because their do a turbo already.
maxima is like camry... can you imagine camry with 400hp turbo engine? no one gonna buy it, because cars like maxima, accord, camry are for socker moms or older people, young people never buy them
+ealiev60 yeah maybe where you're from but overhear people race those soccer mom car's.
well, I guess where you live, people drag and drift their minivans too?
ealiev60 Probably do, that just show's more creativity then what ever closet u from.
+Jnevone DSF kids racing and drifting in their moms camry's and minvans... Sounds like riceville to me...
this car does not need manual. it's a luxury car. i have the q50 and the electronic steering does not feel terrible but terrific.
I wish they would offer this in the Maxima, but I guess that would blur the line between Nissan and Infiniti too much.
I agree.. but since the maxima runs on a front wheel drive platform traditional, doubt anything like this will be done unfortunately
You like the FWD, CVT Maxima?
Just the design.. I rather the push of rwd like my 99 LS400 lol
yeah and in my opinion the maxima looks better inside and out
They couldn't put the 400hp variant into a front-drive car. It would torque-steer the wheel out of your hands.
I'm actually not a fan of the LED/Screen dashboards on some new cars. This one's traditional dash is more my speed (no pun intended). Awesome video as usual. Glad to see you doing, hope your subscriber number keeps climbing.
Doing well*
Get off your knees for the Germans.
I drive these all the time at work, I love them.... I just wish they were offered in 6 speed.
why 6 speed? or u mean 6 speed stick shift manual?
@@jayjohnson-t2y Yes sir. Sometime after posting this I just ended up buying a G37 stick shift.
@@supradoom is that a coupe?
what year model? and hown u liking it? whats the hp on those? u tuning it? or normal daily?
@@jayjohnson-t2y I got a sedan, but they also have coupes. Those have the 3.7 non turbo though, not the 3.0 turbo like this.
Sometimes having those things keep it unique don't want it looking like eveyt other generic modern vehicle.
14:16 HOLY SH!T!!!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
I spit my drink out when he said this... 😂😂
I almost thought he was a robot like TARS from Interstellar like i can imagine Sofyan's friends telling him "Okay, cursing 95%".
i rewinded twice when i heard it
Jacques Smith 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yep, I think he had an orgasm at 14:20
I have this car the 2017 model I simply love it the only thing I do not like about the car is it does not have the signature exhaust tone that infinities are known for! Infiniti drop the ball on this one! Other than that the car is great
I mean if you're gonna compare every display with the A4 you're gonna be disappointed..
I love the engine sound. I wish I could afford one. 👍 nice review.
14:16 My exact reaction when I heard that exhaust/engine note
I just picked mine up a month ago, great car!
i really loved the 3.7L it had so much character and it had a good balance of revs / mid range torque. its a shame that they are killing it off :(
+justin bouche What are you talking about ??? Why don't you just shut up !!!! you know nothing about this new 4oo hp engine.... I've test drove this new engine at my Infinity dealership and that new engine pulls way more than the 3.7... way more....nearly 100 lb-ft more than the 3.7 ...... so, next time, clogged up, get lost and shut up.... GO AWAY Einstein.. you know NOTHING, sickfuck !!!
its not all about power figures bud, try driving one! you will be surprised!
What an angry fellow lol
The 3.7 is pretty awesome with a great linear power band.. of course a turbocharged engine has more torque. I'm a fan and prefer NA engines but I imagine the Nissan/Infiniti evolution for their engine had to end up going the turbo route. They'll probably put some version of (or this exact) engine into the next Z car. I wanna test drive this new engine to see how noticeable the lag is.
Calling it "red sport" without red stuff is kinda dumb though haha
shoryukenpower yea he is a rager... but hes been following me around for the past 3 months + on 100+ posts. all because i called the challenger heavy.
lol it is heavy. hellcat is like 4500 pounds :D
The best car review ever. Well done
Alright Nissan, time to redesign the Z and put this motor in it! My body, and wallet are ready!
Ironic that you said this years ago because that's what they did.
Oh BTW I 💩 in my panties.
It's a very nice looking car, sounds great from what I can tell in this video too
The large screens looks great
It's an excelling offering from Infiniti.. Hope it does well for them
FAMM come support and check out the race I did with my q50!! Much love!
GOOD QUALITY CONTENT I SUBBED! GOD BLESS
it looks dope in white, that old-lady maroon did look a bit sad the led eyebrow screams 5 series. Btw your reviews have evolved to be very polished and buttoned down but still maintains that BEY signature character. Nice.
We liked the white too, it was one of the first white Red Sport models we've seen. Looked good with the dark wheels and the accessory rear-lip spoiler.
14:20 my girlfriend thought I was watching porn
Dean M 😂
Yeah. Gay porn!
lmfao
Infiniti/Nissan brand. Love this car!
Can't believe you compliment a Lexus on handling lol
q50 is meant to be silent and fast, but it could do with some slight advancements, the whole point is to keep it minimal and oldschool with a touch of lux. Similar to megane RS., very basic early 00's interior, but whats lurking under the hood, is a beast waiting to unleash.
I really like this car, but when you first got in that old looking gps just looks so terrible .. really stands out in a bad way
Great video sofyan!
I have an 07 TL Type-S and this thing doesn't offer anything over it except the more powerful 400hp engine and SOME extra features but at the higher priced package trims. Infiniti is crazy to price this much over $50k, they do not offer the options and luxury of a similarly priced BMW.
A similarly priced BMW doesn't even come with a sunroof.
chigasaki06
Go configure a 340i or 440i and compare prices and configuration options to the Q50 and Q60.
Son37Lumiere I will.
EJ A
The 400hp red sport awd Q50 starts at $50,700 and optioned out goes to 60k. The Q60 is even more expensive.
Lol, made my day when he stepped on it. I need to upgrade from my 08 g35s.
Great review
Give us the new Z nissan!
Z without the crappy steering + mean exhaust!
with twin turbo
oh. oh. and no smooth driving bullshit i want to feel that road
Seriously, the key fob is perfect and I hope they never change it. Many times auto manufactures change things just for the sake of change and end up with shit.
Damn dude stop your blood clot whining
That's a nice car bro . I love how you review cars. Good job 👌
This guy sucks and should be FIRED! I own this car and I love it.. It's fast and luxurious and get a lot of attention driving it. And I have had a lot of cars in my life and its an all around perfect car.
capone1826 Can't be fired when you're the boss.
This review made me smile:)
The lack of grip is because of the tires on the car and my brother put Michelin pilot sport 4s and it grips and handles way better.
Sounds like your typical nissan built V6 if you ask me. One of the better sounding turbocharged cars out there.
@Redline Reviews
As usual, excellent review!
Thank you .
Fit Soldier same situation
This vehicle diameter is in the midsize sedan range and not the small sedan range. In regards to power out put and 0-60 times it puts it right in the range of the Audi S6. The Audi S6 IS 194.2 inches in length and the q50 is 190 inches in length
Nice vid and review. All check points covered. Much better than the MT and Car&D guys.
Sofyan, you need to adjust the video stabilization settings on your camera. This segment was very shaky to watch. Keep up the great reviews! -MK
Can't wait to go for this car!
I like how you take a more approach to a one take and when you make a mistake talking you just keep going. More human nature to reviews
That reaction! lol. That's the same thing I said when I first drove my G. I've gotta get one of these.
I must of watched this a million times just for his reaction.... lol... Nicely done! lol
Nice review - I've been waiting for this one!
The one we are testing has the same steering as yours, it was mentioned during the test drive portion of the review.
+Redline Reviews hes right. only the 2.0t models have hydraulic electronic steering. 3.0t has electric power steering starting with the base 3.0t
Solid review👍🏻. I bought Q50S 2015 a year ago. Probably should have waited for this beast. Any changes for 2017. Cool roads you picked for the review.
Good luck!
if Cruze is an option I would suggest the new Civic Touring. i just purchased it and it's a great car. Sofyan has reviewed it as well on here.
+Eric Mcdonald Thanks man, I'll give it a look.
wheelbarrow
new or used?
Been waitin for this , thank you
I am having trouble choosing between a 1 year old CPO Red Sport Q50 loaded with AWD or a new 2018 Kia Stinger GT2 AWD.
So stop writing dumb shit and that it has a CVT!!!
nice job again on the review, would you recommend it over the stinger gt2?
I absolutely love this car
Great review. Infiniti Q50 is nice would like to drive one.
Great review as usual!
