I love how you use your bronzer so much!!! I am not a contour person either!! Thank you so much for the review!!
Thank YOU for being here for it.
The pink one reminds me of her OG BB Illuminating Bronzer in Antigua, which I have and love on my fair/medium neutral skin.
Yessss. It’s totally Antigua!
Very intrigued by this dusty rose bronzer. I’m super pale and have long used the Hourglass powder in Dim light as bronzer, especially over the winter months when I am extra pale. The effect is subtle, blends like a dream and imparts a kind of peachy beige blonzer colour which actually mimics the way my skin reacts to exposure to the sun (which lets be honest starts off as more of a peachy pre-burn colour anyway before developing into redness and never really goes tan)
That hourglass product that you use is definitely ideal but the pink bronzer here might be a nice change for spring.
As I have been spending a considerable amount of time inside, (against my will!), bronzer has been a life-saver by warming up my pale sickly skin. It definitely makes a difference. I do like the pink bronzer as I would use this as a blush or wherever I felt like placing it. I can't even remember how many times the 'natural' look has come and gone. It shouldn't matter, as we should all be wearing whatever we like. Not be constrained by what make-up brands are pushing at us. It depends on how I'm feeling, as to what my look would be on any given day. It's anyone's guess!🇦🇺💖🕊
I am very much like you with that. It depends what I want on that day. I think the pinkish bronze blush and bronzer idea here is innovative and useful. It can really just brighten up the face or be very striking and I like that ability to kind of change things around according to mood.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Exactly! I love products that we can use in several ways to fit in with how we feel. I'm going to bid you good morning (0515hrs!), yet attempt to get at least a few hours sleep. I watched a strange movie that went much longer than I thought. Thank you so much, Anne!!
Omg, omg, I've been waiting for this review on the dusty rose!!!! Thank you for getting it!! I can't tell you how difficult it is to find the right bronzer for a cool-toned person?! I was so afraid it was really just masked as orange, so I waited and it doesn't look orange at all (at least on my TV). Even if I mix it a bit with my Gucci. I've also been searching forever for a true mauve shade blush, I hope this might be close! I'm super excited to order ASAP. I'm not thrilled about free shipping over $85 🙄 I've never really been interested in Bobbi Brown or Jones Road for the same reason. I feel like the What the foundation is made for those people who've gotten too much sun over the years & now left with tough leather like skin that has to be kept oiled 😂 honestly! Being from Florida I know these people & could have been one of them if I had not changed my ways. I'm glad they have it but I don't see it as mainstream. But I'm thrilled she noticed a void for cool-toned people with bronzer!! I give her massive credit. Of course I still have to try it & I'll report back. Again Thank You Rebecca for getting the dusty rose shade, you always include your cool-toned people and we are honored!!!🤍🤍🤍
Cindy! You know I am a proud supporter of the cool tone revolution army! Plus, pink blush bronzer? Count me in! I’m really curious as to what you will think when you try it. You must report back. A homework assignment! By the way, laughing myself silly about your assessment of what the foundation users. I think that’s about the best I’ve heard. Makes total sense sadly
I’ve been using the cream blush a ton lately on cheeks and lips and even on my lids
It is a very pretty cream blush and I love it on the lips too.
I have been waiting for your review to order. I wanted to know your thoughts on it and help with which shade to choose. I am off to order the pink.
The powder pink is my favorite, Jane!
Thanks!
Deb!!! that’s far too kind. I am so grateful for your constant support. Honestly. You have been here since the darn near very beginning. I am so appreciative of you and your belief in this silly little channel that we have here!
Rebecca, how does the dusty rose compare to the bare mineral blunzer kiss of pink? I’m very fair and I’m interested but I don’t have space in my makeup bag to dupe my collection. I love you to the moon and you are my go go.
What a lovely complement. Thank you so much. I don’t actually have the kiss of pink on hand but I have seen it and, if I am recalling correctly, the bareMinerals product is a little bit lighter than the Jones Road has a little bit of a deeper cast to it. For instance, the bare mineral could also be a Blush whereas the Jones Road would not look right as a Blush. It would end up going too Brown if that makes sense.
Love the nails 💅 very pretty greens and cream ivory colors on the nails 💅
Thank you so very very much!

Hello Rebecca, I was on the fence about choosing the right shade of the JR bronzer. I finally went with the tan shade. I must say it might take over my VB bronzer brick !! I used it today for the first time. It goes on like butter. It melts into your skin. I buffed it in with my Sonia G bugging brush and applied with my Sonia G bronzer brush. It doesn’t turn orange on me. It’s the perfect shade for my neutral skin.I have the JE color wash too. I use it as a topper on my shadow. It’s beautiful. This bronzer is a winner for me!! Thanks for the great video !!💕Arleen
ARLEEN! Me too! I think I might even have said that in the video....or been thinking it....look out VBB Bronzing brick. TOTALLY!
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty You did say it in the video :) The dusty rose shade reminds me of the original Bobbi Brown shade named Antigua.

You would really enjoy them
I’m with you, I mix my bronzer and blush! I don’t contour either! As I get a little older, I don’t want to thin out my face!
I think it says you’re wearing the plum lip and cheek. How does it feel on the lips?
BTW the color looks gorgeous on you!!

I’m finally back from an unplanned trip overseas. My MIL had an accident. I did make the most of it and I did a lot of shopping. Missed a lot of your videos. These bronzers look nice. Not too orange like most but I’d have to see them in person. Thanks for another great review 😘

I’ve been playing with the face balms. I hate that thing of breaking the seal 🙄. Though I live in a very hot climate the product is always hard making it difficult to manage
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I can’t either 😅
I love this bronzer but I was disappointed with how little product there is. 5.7g is nothing, most are around 8-10. With shipping to Canada, I spent almost $60.
I hadn’t done that math. Wow. I hear ya.
Bless you for continuing to try Jones Road products. Love Bobbi Brown herself, but have been so disappointed in the products I've tried from this line. There are too many brands that I love to even bother with this one anymore.
And maybe that’s really the answer, Sheila. I’ve been asking everyone why is it that none of us are super interested but all of us should be interested and I think it’s just the amount of competition
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I also really dislike the packaging. It’s so generic, like the literal paper bag it comes in. I can’t figure out who this brand is for, which is also a big problem.
@@sheilabrooks3436 it really started soaring once Tik Tok came on the scene. So the kiddos love it
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty That counts me out! 🤣
@@sheilabrooks3436 Yes, generic, that is a great way to describe it. I mentioned in a comment up-thread, that I like Westman Atelier so much better than Jones Road because it is so much more elegant (to me, at least) even while at the same time being a so-called "clean" brand (which, in truth, isn't important to me, but I do appreciate WA's lack of fragrance). Love that WA is an MUA-founded, minimalist brand. For me, it's everything I was hoping that Jones Road would be, but so far hasn't really been, so far. And I say this as someone who was totally into Bobbi Brown as an MUA and as a brand from the minute she launched those 10 lipsticks in Bergdorf Goodman way back when (I was quite young when I started following Bobbi!)
The pink-ish shade sounds like a reboot of Antiqua, which she created (for her friend) when she was at the helm at BB (or so the story goes!). As a fair-skinned, blonde w/ blue eyes, it is the PERFECT bronzer!! I will likely hit pan. Not sure if BB still makes it so if not, will try the one by JRB.
Ah yes!!! I have heard this and I do not recall the Antiqua shade. Now I must research it!! I think you’d love this as a bronzer!!
I was at Nordstrom recently at the Bobbi Brown counter, I was specifically there to check out the Antigua bronzer shade after watching Bobbi's makeup Masterclass, in which she discusses that lighter skin tones need a pink-ish bronzer. It was definitely still for sale as recently as a few months ago. The only reason I didn't buy the Antigua color was that it had shimmer in it and I already had an Hourglass bronzer with some shimmer in it.
So, I decided (after watching this review by Rebecca) to try the JRB bronzer in Dusty Rose, since it reminds me of Antigua but without shimmer.
@@sablouwho I was reading your comments and talking to you as I was reading it! Ha ha. I was going, “ oh oh! This one doesn’t have a shimmer! “ I think it’s going to be perfect for you. Please let us know.
I would love for you to go back and talk about miracle balm. According to BB it’s her favorites product and I just can’t figure it out
Oh Carla. I did a video when the brand first launched and I included her miracle balm. But I didn’t break the seal on it because none of us were really knowledgeable about how it worked back then, I’m embarrassed to say. Since then, I have tried it multiple times. I am not a massive fan of the sort of patchouli smell to it. In the video you just saw with the bronzer, I am wearing it as a highlight on my cheeks and it’s really really pretty but I got a migraine an hour later and I wonder if it was the scent. It’s very pretty as a natural highlighter but could also be used kind of all over the face even before foundation to kind of make a nice dewy base. And it’s very pretty. The colors make it really nice for almost like a cheek glow. The whole idea would be kind of a makeup free face with just a little bit of concealer and a little bit of balm on the cheeks. Because she very much likes the skin to completely show. So it’s kind of a balm to use either with a very light foundation mixed in or on a face that’s basically bare and just has a little bit of maybe one of her concealer pencils over a few blemishes. She’s very much into natural beauty. Let me know if that helps at all.
Thanks Rebecca! For an unknown reason I have not been inspired to try Jones Road. I am tempted by the rosy bronzer- it reminds me a little of RMS Madeira which is one of my
Favs. I like minimalist makeup for my every day errands and gym. I tend to use RMS, Kjaer Weis, Ilia and Westman Atelier.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I will try their lip and cheek balm too.
@@barnes166 it’s lovely
I would do the more pink undertones blush bronzer look for my skin toned but the little warmer bronze color I could cause I also have freckles with blue eyes 👁🗨 and fair skin toned so freckles are lighter brown so I could use neutral warm tones and of course pink undertones with reddish hair color cool 😎
I think that dusty pink shade would be gorgeous on you
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty cool 😎 maybe I might try soon I'll let you know my birthday 🎂 is Thursday February 2, turning the big 47yr old 🧓 LOL 😂 maybe I'll get it then or later when tax returns LOL 😂 OK enjoy your rest of your day and snuggle up 👆
When it comes to JRB, I was SO excited when they first launched and carefully looked at all their products as they became available. I ended up getting one of their customizable kits and was happy with some things but not with others. I did NOT get along with the heavy use of essential oils in her Miracle Balm and the gritty texture of the glitter in the lip gloss made it unusable for anyone in my household of three females. I stopped buying from them bec I just felt like the products were not worth the high price point. I am a huge fan of minimalistic makeup and I feel like this was her Gen X version of the Millennial/Gen Z Glossier. As I saw the gloopy unsanitary oily WTF viral videos I just got turned off further. I still eye a few things on Credo to possibly toss in my cart to try, like the face oil or lipsticks but I think of my mini of the fragrant face balm and decide against it. Maybe her powder products are better? I’m a cream product girl though so I just don’t know if it’s worth the risk. These aren’t things easily returnable or exchangeable like if they were in Sephora so that certainly is also taken into consideration. I think it boils down to wanting to like JRB products as much as I love their aesthetic.
Can I basically just put what you said on a piece of paper and hand it to people when they ask me about the brand?
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty hahahaha! Go for it!
I haven’t tied anything from this line
I am a little bit hit and miss with them but their hits are amazing
These bronzers look really nice. Do you like them better than the Victoria Beckham ones? I haven’t been interested in any of the other Jones Roads products, but these look nice. I like the regular BB products a lot. There are some really great ones in that line. Gosh, it is sooooo hot here. 88 degrees, with my AC blasting. January has been really warm here, in the 80’s almost every day, and that’s our coolest month. Lol. . Whew, looking at you in that black, warm sweater, reminds me of when I was living in NYC where it was cold for 6/7 months a year.
Hello Janice! Yes. I believe that this bronzer will finally eclipse my love for the VBB bronzer. I feel your pain with temperatures always in the 80s and that being the cool point. I have learned to embrace any sort of rain or slight chill because most of the time it is honestly in the 90s lately
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty wow. About the Jones bronzer. I will take a look at them. Which is your favorite shade? I liked how that tan one applied all over your face. So smooth! We have almost the same skin tone. I always hated the cold weather, that’s why we moved down here. But, I wouldn’t mind a spring-like day down here! Now out in the hot to run errands, ugh.
@@janicecroissiert9116 the hot is exhausting! I think actually my favorite is that pink shade for those with lighter skin tones. I think the addition of the pink makes a really interesting bronzer. For you and me, however, the tan shade is likely best.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty oh. Thanks for clarifying! I’m reading about these products now. Seems really good! Im wondering if their moisturizers are good. I have dry skin. Yea. Friday is a record breaking heat, oh my. Lol. Beach day.
Ha ha come to MN. I am in St Paul. Actual temp is -9.
someone else said the what the foundation needed to have a pump because most foundations that have that and u can shake are received much better without clickbait slathering it on XD
Hello James! I completely agree. Part of the problem was the packaging. It just felt like you were putting your hands into goop. Totally true
Hi Rebecca! I'm slightly intrigued by Jones Road Beauty, but the price is too high. Funny, I would be willing to spend that on the Nars creamy bronzer of CT cream bronzer - but not this product. Idk, it doesn't seem fair on my part! 😂😅😄
I agree 💯 ❤️
I feel you. I have no problem spending money on Merit, Rose inc, etc. but for some reason I’ve never been interested in trying anything Bobbi Brown, Ilia, Too Faced, Nars, Urban Decay, etc, and even if I was I could never justify paying their prices. I’m not 100% sure why, but I just don’t feel like my money is well spent with these brands even though lots of people like them. Maybe we’re not attracted to the packaging, or the products don’t stand out to us?
@@tiahnarodriguez3809 I think you're on the mark here. The Jones Road packaging leaves me saying "meh." I have Miracle Balm in Magic Hour, and I just glazed over the rest of the line and passed on it. (Granted, this is partially because I was not too fond of the scent of the Miracle Balm and the What The Foundation, and wasn't really excited about the other products I tested in person at Credo Beauty. I only ordered the Bronzer in Dusty Rose because it's hard to find a cooler, non-shimmery bronzer shade good for lighter skin tones. I have been looking for such a shade since I took Bobbi Brown's Masterclass on makeup, in which she mentioned that such a shade was good for lighter-toned skin.
Quite honestly, I find myself much more attracted to Westman Atelier as a brand than Jones Road. Both are "clean" (not that I cared about that aspect) MUA-founded brands that are streamlined, but for me Westman Atelier delivers an "experience" of putting on my makeup that Jones Road lacks. I love the WA luxe packaging, and that it is free of fragrance (including masking fragrance). By comparison, even though I love Bobbi Brown's makeup philosophy (and even got my makeup done with her when she was first starting her original brand, way back in the day) the Jones Road vibe just doesn't excite me. I expect I will like the bronzer for the color and what is "in" the packaging, but I don't expect it to be an overall "experiential" product as I would with a similar product from Westman Atelier or even Lisa Eldridge.
I really like the pinky bronzer. It gives you a nice glow. Did you say it smells like patchouli? If so, I will have to pass as that is a migraine inducing smell for me.
I like some of the Jones Road products. I like the concealer pencil and the matte eye shadows. Unfortunately, the shimmer shadows have the same chunky glitter that the Bobbi Brown shadows use and it isn’t flattering on anyone. I am surprised that Bobbi uses that in her products.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Thank goodness, I did hear the word patchouli! I thought I was losing my mind! A friend pointed me in the direction of her eye shadows and concealer stick but I have yet to try her lip and cheek products. It does seem that she is taking a nice slow approach to building this brand, surveying the market to see what is needed a I like it!
@@realpixiestix I absolutely agree. And as the brand builds, her plan becomes apparent.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I do think one thing that’s missing is more cow bell 😂! Hope you get that very old SNL reference.
@@realpixiestix more cow bell!!!!! Hahahahahahahahahaha
I don't have any issue with the minimalistic approach, and in fact, I think it's generally better for most people, but I just wish they would quit confusing, clean beauty with fragranced beauty. I'm not crazy about the fragrance that is used, and my allergy prone skin cannot tolerate it anyway. So if they wanted to clean something up, I think it should be the fragrance
I agree with you Helen. We have to think about fragrance in general and why, if it’s somewhat botanical, is that a clean fragrance? Fragrance is fragrance really
Absolutely true. I am truly not fond of the fragrance in some Jones Road products. The essential oils that are in those products are BAD for the skin.

Oh! i really like this Tan shade.. Its funny because i think thats my problem with light tan i want a really nice bronze haha and it wasn't warm enough for me it was actually more natural with not enough impact. Im still waiting on their response so i can exchange mine. I initially was tossing between tan and golden tan and couldn't really tell the difference, according to the 'quiz' it was supposed to be light tan or tan.
i agree, everything else is too minimal for me. I almost ordered the blush but still wasn't sure Sandy 'not pink' enough lol and with dusty rose i think i might like that better as a blush - really like this combo on you. I ordered a few matte shadows with this order that i want to try this week hopefully.
Yes, Anne, I would definitely exchange for the tan shade. I don’t mind if it’s a little bit darker. I just like the warmth and I think you are the same. I think their blushes are delightful. Check back a week or so ago. I did a Blush video and included their blushes and you can see those pinks
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty right! i want it to be the correct undertone, if its a little darker at least i can swap the brush out and go lighter.
