-30% affinity doesn't matter DG, if you're using Fatalis 2 piece you can use Maximum Might level 5. MM Level 5, Weakness Exploit 3 and Crit Eye 7 = +130% Affinity so you still reach 100%.
I think they gave the fatalis weapons negative affinity to go with the 4 piece razor sharp. So the final form weapons still get hella purple sharpness.
Yeah. They gave his armor Handicraft 5 for a reason. It boosts his weapons 20 hits into 150 or 210 (depending on the weapon) with the 4-piece + 5 handicraft. That's more than enough (usually).
I think I might have to make both of his sets.. the alpha has the slotage of your average beta set and has some nice skill, but the slotage on the beta is absolutely insane

You got it wrong DG. with two pieces of Fatalis . Any skill that has a secret breaks the cap limit even without a piece of armor of the monster where it came from

They really went the Ahtal Ka direction with his armor (in GU skills work in thresholds and points; at 10-15-20 points you get the skills effect). Not only her armor had the most slots of any in the game, but it also gave every skill you had 2 extra points and literally multiplied by 2 the points in your charm (and charms could have decos in GU as well). And yeah, it was meta af.
I’m late but the way you dissing stun resistance lol. That is one of the first skills I slot with every build I make. The only time I die in this game is when I can’t move.
DG I'm seeing a lot of builds using the Beta helm and gloves, the alpha chest and belt and then KT beta legs for the 5th slot, or Alatreon legs a if your running dragon. both have really good slot efficiency and positive fire rez. I hope you are enjoying the farm.

New to the game but even with Artemis Armor and Master Ale Dual Blades, Clear Mind Charm, and a few choice decorations I have Poison,Stun,Paralysis,Roar,Heat,Cold and Efluvia nullification plus Health and Recovery Maxed. If I had Fatalis I could easily add in Tremor & Bleeding as well. Plus the other stuff I could expand on..... man please very little would affect me and I would stun and break every monster in my way. I CANNOT wait to get Fatalis Beta Set.
Make full set beta DG, even if you don't use all. Also make 1 extra, Alpha helm for your CB. mix 4 pieces with either Frostfang helm or Kulve/R.Brachy boots. Make sure you don't put vitality in the build coz 4 pieces already max out your HP/stamina.
The idea is that you run them with the fatalis set, So thanks to the full fatalis set that’s purple sharpness, weakness exploit which gives tons of affinity on weak points and it has a built in version of health boost. Not to mention built in razor sharp. They have crazy raw damage And the main reason... all 5 beta Armor pieces + the weapon = 17 lv4 decos + whatever charm you are wearing + you mantle decks. And because so much is built in you have a lot more freedom with what you slot.

I beat him solo and then with a group. Then I used a save editor to duplicate all my items. No grinding needed. I beat it solo legit 4 piece kulve 1 piece escaton at 29:28 so I mod and feel still good in my heart I just don’t have to grind because I work a lot as well
4 pieces fatalis and kulve beta+ legs maybe, then fill with whatever u want u have enough space for all the attack skills u need and for a lot of comfy skills to add without sacrificing damage
Still strugling with Fatty, in this MH he is REALLY annoying, time up all the time... BUT! His weapons and armors are badass! I mean... REAL badassessness madness bro!
Fatalis gets easier over time. I went 2 days without slaying it, but I am now in a winning streak. I'm more comfortable using different sets on it now.
I think with affinity augment 1, crit eye 7, challenger 7 and wex 3 youll have exactly 80% on a weakspot, 100% when tenderized. Its the strongest ls by raw but you can still stick with safi and lightbreak if you dont like tenderizing... Unless you use maximum might 5 as well ._.
That 4 piece skill is nice. Full HP and stamina at the start of the quest but to keep it, you NEED to cart. You won’t get the bonus if your cat raises you back from the dead.

Yeah but if you want to change weapons mid hunt then you'll lose the 100hp and stamina buffs. Not even ancient potion or eating would help.

Tbh I love stunt resistance, monster can hit you like truck but I don’t have to worry about stunt that possibly will lead to cart lol.
