    I had very good results right off the bat and within 100 miles of normal driving the miss fire issue was cured. That was over 2000 miles ago and without having to add a second dose, the issue never returned. I have used Rislone products in the past and and never had any issues with their performance. Great video sir. Thank you. Be safe.

    I think an assessment after 5 minutes of idling the vehicle is short-sighted. A follow-up after say 500 miles of driving would be more meaningful.

    It worked perfectly for me. First I tried Lucas oil treatment ran that for a few months with no improvement on the blue smoke issue (I only had blue smoke on cold start).
    I decided to try the Rislone next. I added the rislone and the problem went away instantly! I mean, after running my car for only a few moments I haven't seen blue smoke again. I'm unsure if these are the results everybody can expect. I do believe you are required to put on a few hundred kilometres or miles first. Regardless, it worked amazing for me.🙏🏽👌🏽

    My geo metro smoked when I put it in park. I didn’t notice it when I drove around. But everytime I parked the car a bunch of smoke was coming out the exhaust. I drove 300 miles one week. And checked my oil at the end of the week I was almost dry. Sometimes def not right. I poured a bottle of this in my engine. Almost instantly (15 min) I had my car parked and smoke went away. :)

    Glad to see this stuff can work. I want to put the word out that it’s almost impossible to overfill and engine. There’s a test on UA-cam and it took like 4 times the amount of oil before it even started to leak so anyway even if you had 2 quarts extra it could never do anything to a motor except make the oil last longer but as far as damaging anything it’s just not possible.

    • @freebehindbars8654
      @freebehindbars8654 2 місяці тому

      You’ve obviously never built an engine. Some handle high/low levels differently, but none should be operated with too much oil. Don’t care what a UA-camr says.

    • @zackk695
      @zackk695 2 місяці тому

      @@freebehindbars8654 Actually I have! I was raised by a mechanic and I’ve built 4 engines with my last one just finished which is a 6.6 Duramax. Anyway my point was that in this study which was done by professionals it took a full engine of oil for it to even blow out the seals and leak. Any car engine that has a quart or two too much would never hurt it but I agree it’s best to keep it at the correct level mostly due to oil pressures

    • @mtbridingog9083
      @mtbridingog9083 Місяць тому

      Wrong you can destroy any engine if the oil is way above the fill level .. the valve stem seals will go then u will be smoking crazy ..

    • @zackk695
      @zackk695 Місяць тому

      @@mtbridingog9083 Of course! Eventually it will ruin the engine. You need to watch the test they did on overfilling but they did it in real time all at one and just kept adding a few quarts at a time and then running the motor. It took a while and I think the valve cover gaskets actually leaked first but not sure. Cool video to watch. They have a transparent plate on the side of the engine block

    The oil burning with bluish smoke can be from sticking lowest piston rings OR valve seal/guide and both are expensive to replace. You may have a car not worth putting a lot of money into and a monthly car payments is easily $450-600.

    • @wally7856
      @wally7856 11 місяців тому +3

      You can replace your valve seals yourself for like $45 for seals for a V8, even less $$ for a smaller engine. The way to tell is valve seals only give off blue smoke for a moment after the engine has been idling and then you give it some gas. Like when your sitting at a red light and then the light turns green you leave behind a puff a blue smoke when you accelerate off the line and then it goes away.

    All additives are a band aid solution. Do a compression check, then repeat the test after putting a little oil in the cylinder. Bad rings will see an increase in PSI.

    Nicely done video. I actually prefer stp oil treatment if I need an oil thickening additive as it's the only one on the market to have zdp. Zinc included in its ingredients. It's the best antiwar agent discontinued in most motor oils except diesel oils because it was detrimental to cat converters.
