i met Kevin. At Cocteau Twins Concert, Irvine meadows CA. Nobody else knew who he was. lol. It was hilarious. I sicked, 14 goth chicks on him, when we were done talking.
Kevin is really down to earth. We talked about some sound tracks he was working on. ANd I said, "you know you're fucked now right?". LMAO. ANd I walked to the the nearest crowd of goth chics, told them who he was, hahahaha, haha, and it was all over.
Gah i remember when i was like 8..my uncle was married to this woman..her daughter was all goth..hotttt..i loved her room..first time i ever heard Bauhaus..i fell in love!!! Im 44 now🖤💀🔥
Seen them 3 times and grateful.. Met David J in Leucadia this past summer and he was such a nice person and very humble. Got my pic with him. Cheers to one of the greatest bands ever.
I was at the New Orleans Show of this tour and the sound/passion bested the album versions. One of the only times I have experienced this before as usually the opposite is true.
@M0SSl No doubt Bauhaus were influenced by Joy Division and there are familiarities to Shadowplay. But it is certainly not the opening of Shadowplay that actually has a soft intro with Bass and cymbals. Here there is a completely different intro with strong guitar feed-back and powerful drums...
No, it’s not. They’re similar sounding songs with a similar structure, but the bass lines are different, the guitar is different, and the drums are different.
Kevin's drumming is unbelievable - such finesse and feel.

If Dracula played in a band, Bauhaus would be his band.
If Bauhaus, Joy Division, Killing Joke, Love and Rockets, and The Melvins toured together that would be one of the greatest shows ever.
If Joy Division and New Order toured together, that would be truly COSMIC...LOL!
It’s unreal how good this song is live
This is better than most music out there it's old but relevant love it still
killer bass

If you ever got the chance to see them live, you - like me- are very very lucky! Epic show on the last ever tour in Chicago

This live is when they reform the band .... Bauhaus plaid from 1980 to 1983 and it was fabulous.
Wow! Fantastic version! 🎸😎👍
Wish I had been there!

Like a Gothic master, replete with magisterial presence and a dark aura...

I love how the crowd is cheering their heads off and he's standing there with a not giving a fuck look.

Ouvi o In flat field no spotify,um disco estranho e perturbador como só os anos oitenta pode nos dar!
Bauhaus e The Sisters Of Mercy pra mim levaram mais adiante toda a sonoridade sombria e depressiva criada pelo Joy Division.
The Prince, Thin and lean.
man he still looks gothic......even more so than 1980s.....is this the original lineup.....

Was at this. He even said Gotham City.
only if you truly search for it
The opening is from Joy Division's Shadowplay

Is this from the "Gotham" tour? Is there anybody in the know who could truthfully answer whether they will ever tour again (esp. in USA)?
Brilliant....when was this actual performance recorded?
Rob Sollory 1999 I believe.
@@FlottisPar that's true !!
What the heck are the tabs for this?

This is not the same recording as the video. Damm good though
@gothicpassionata88 I don't know. Do you play Dungeons and Dragons? If so, I'll play with you, but only if you bring chips and Mt. Dew.
Love Bauhaus, however JOY DIVISION ARE ONE OF A KIND that have influenced so many bands back then and still continue to influence today.
from which year is this ?
1998, Resurrection Tour. This is from the Gotham DVD.
