Now this is how you make an alter operator story, the character development is spot on.

Reed alter: moisturized, smiling, blooming
Peak character developpement through design changes
What you didn't like going on vacation and becoming OP...it was such a good story they did it twice
I love how HG made her alter not limited, which makes more sense lore-wise since character development doesn't go away after an event. Not sure why they did that with Hibiscus though.

Even when not using her as a medic, the fact that she could be used like a Sniper that does Art Damage makes her real useful.

I always thought of her as a caster with "life steal" as she can sustain her self pretty well
As long as she uses her art, she and whomever teammate in her range wont die, I had her 2606, and she helped a lot in rouge, always my first choice.
Reed is not only a Waifu, she's my favorite unit and I'm glad she's getting an event, time to get this Irish Princess!
I don't know shit about her at all but I'm glad I've been saving some gems to spend.
I don't really aim to get Chongyue or Lin and I will definitely have enough for Yato.

Well, after I read the event story, her being a medic is so make sense. Unlike her sister whose flame has a necromancy effect, her true flame's power is healing. So she indeed can both burn her enemies and heal her allies with her flame

Before pulling for her, you need to consider the upcoming banner which is gonna be chong yue who is in limited banner and Yato alter which is in "true limited banner". You can still get Ralter since she's not in a limited banner but if have enough/more than enough prime then I wish you luck that you'll get her early
I'm skipping Chongyue banner (but may throw some pulls for Fire Whistle depending on the result during HarmaReed gacha) and I already bagged 60k orundrums for KirYato, so I'm more than good.
Yato is worth pulling for but if you have 120 pulls you're guaranteed to get her. So long as you have that saved up you can pull on the Reed banner.

@@azeria1 exactly my thoughts, i was lucky enough to get Reed in 40 pulls so getting Ya to should be easy enough. The only thing is Im bot sure chongyue is worth pulling for. He's good DPS but he doesn't bring anything new to the table gameplay wise. I think saving for Muelsyse is the better path

Ya, like Hilter earlier Reed Evergarden isn't limited (a running theme with Incantations so far, curiously enough). Neither is Lin for that matter but Chongus is in the same manner as other seasonal event Ops (ie. you can still pull or spark them "offbanner" the next time this seasonal slot comes around), and Kirin Yato is _actually_ bona fide, no-or-never limited like the other collab Ops.
...which alas makes Irish Dragon Princess comparatively low priority. HG pls stop dropping must-pull banners nearly back to back ;_;
Gonna do a single 10 pull for a chance at smug cat then dip, yato is my real current priority.
Yato is really good but she is guaranteed to come home if you have 120 pulls. If you have that saved up ur getting her no mater what so you can try to get Reed if you have the pulls.

I love using Hibiscus alt, so getting the 6 star version is mandatory
I loveee the hybrid medic classes, Kalsit in shop, just got skadi alter, now going to try my luck with 100 pulls and get reed alter.
So basically, she has range of Sniper, dealing Art dmg (even more dmg than some actual Caster), massive AoE Art with S3 that Splash Caster can only dream of, can heal ally, can buff ally, ridiculous dmg with S2, debuff enemies with her talent.
The Medic class are truly made of Medic
I pulled and got blem so pretty happy since I also really wanted her but she hadn't been in banners recently I'm mostly just happy with another six star since my luck has been garbage on the cc banner and previous banners

Avoiding Eyja Caster class but now entering Kal'tsit harmacist seminar instead.
All in all, as a healing knight player i must pull her.

Pulling her for Abyssal Hunters and Friends team - lack of healing during the downtime is not a problem thanks to Gladiia and adding more heals/Arts damage during fights will help in dealing with enemies faster.

The best thing about reed alter is she isn't a limited unit so i can safely pass her and continue to save up for typhon & yato alter

There was a time when I was planning to pull for Reed alter but there are so many upcoming operators who I'd rather get (Lin, Yato alter, Ines, Muelsyse and Typhon) that I'm going to skip Reed's banner. Since she is not limited there should be more chances to get her in the future. Well, at most I might go for up to 10 pulls in hopes of getting Harmonie but I'm not sure yet.

Saving pulls for Yato. Far more exclusive, and therefore, more important for me.
Vioreed is one of the best alter operator, her class was make the most sense lore wise and her character development shown through her design. Her event also basically just reed massive operator record. I love her so much and she gladly came to my base without forcing me to spend all of my savings.
And also her event might be considered an epilogue before we meet eblana on the next chapter of main story.

I started in April this year, and I only have 26k orundum and 18 op rn (thanks to TexAlt lol). I REALLY want ReedAlt, but I am willing to skip for the sake of Chongyue and Blue Woman. Then again, it seems that ReedAlt is stronger than Chongyue or Lin. WHAT DO I DOOO???

she's good since it makes you not need a medic, she might not be reliable at healing, but most of your units won't be getting damage for free if you place them correctly, i already am at a point in my account where i don't want to bring medics since i use mountain, spalter, mudrock and penance, but horn and the ranged units like gg and pozy do get some incidental damage due to mechanics

Since I don't have either Eyja and Goldenglow yet, I could use Reed Alter as a substitute Arts Caster.
she has the highest single target arts damage in the game with s2
Reed is not a very good DPS/HPS.
but, she is a broken in terms of support and utility.
She was able to deal damage along while healing your operators. meaning you don't have to bring additional medic. You can just put reed in your squad as she can act as hybrid medic-caster.
*Her S3* basically need other strong operator to kill the enemies (i.e. eyja, goldenglow, thorns etc.) , but when you are able to do it, it will trigger chain AOE explosion. Very good when you have swarm of enemies coming after you. This is very *USEFUL* in annihilation and swarm of enemies but *BAD AGAINST BOSSES*
If you plan to build DPS Reed or *AGAINST BOSSES, I recommend TRY S2 instead.* It's damage is good against Patriot.
i made this before someone claims her S3 weak against bosses. knowing your operator is the key.

Remember that because she is not a limited operator, she will be available in the 6* selector ticket with the global 4th anniversary event, probably once again starting on January 18th.
SO if you have a bit of patience you can pick her up safely then, and save your pulls for Yato, who will never be returning.

@@laby1827 She probably will be in the 5th anniversary ticket or somewhere. 4th anniversary ticket (Lonetrail) covers all permanent 6 stars until Stainless and the gap between him and HarmaReed isn't too far.

Reed both heals you and unheals the enemies at an extreme pace. Lucked out and got both her and Harmonie in the single 10 pull I could afford to spend on the banner.
Got her with a single ten pull letting me keep saving, feels good man.
While I want her, I'm gonna skip her for now. Gonna try for Kal'tsit and Pozy instead, and wait for reeds banner rerun next year
