You said Penance gets 6% Barrier when killing things, But its improved to 10% at E2. A very important note
In the video it says "all talents at E2+ potential improvement" but thats not true (it does show the first talent at e0 though but) and another thing it says it caps at 300% Max hp but it's 400% of her max hp at E2

I have a feeling this event was delayed to to commemorate the judge Penance was modeled after, Giovanni Falcone. Giovanni Falcone was assassinated May 23 1992.

I feel like comparing Penance to Mudrock is like comparing Blemishine to Saria
Technicaly they are the same sub class and all but they do very different things
I feel like saria is generally more useful (scales better at higher difficulties for most cases) but I would love to be proven wrong since I actually like blemishine’s character more. Blemishine’s main utility (hard to replace utility ) seems to be her synergy with specific operators, Saria on the other hand will add a lot of value for a very broad variety of team compositions. Mudrock and Penance seem to be very close in level of utility though

Just like how they compare Schwartz/Pozi, Ash/Exui, Blaze/Galter, Thorns/SA.
Like, they're all do different things and better than one other in different situations.
Nevertheless Penence is better for General content, because she is a very offensive unit with ton of dmg

Who doesn't love a big strong mommy that can curt stomp you on the pavement using her hammer?
for the record, Penance can easily tank 3 tactical nukes of Chapter 10 with 0 problems if she has her barrier up, those do 3k true damage mind you and easily soloes Patriot Phase 2

my main problem with using her in chap 10 is the fucking worms reducing her sp. which im trying to fix by m3 lv90. because a 4k perma shield, with a max barrier limit of 12000+ is absurd as hell and fun as hell
Also Ch'en passively gives defensive/offensive recovery skills on the map passive generation. Its a little slow, but its better than none.
And her Module upgrade makes it even better
fun fact, if you deploy S1 Penance and Xiao Hei side by side and let them face each other, you'll get a Penance playing with cats (with her hammer) on the battlefield XD

Shes also awesome people tend to compare her to Mudrock but I honestly believe they both covered different things which is quite nice.

For some unholy reason, They gave the one with good area damage, the one who has Anti-Boss shielding.
And the one with good single target, Anti-Swarm shielding...
My response is usually just bring both. DP isn't a problem so use them both for Defendernights fun

At first i was only focused on texas alter but after realizing how strong and tanky she is oh my god

I've been a Mudrock stan since forever but Penance might by my new favorite.. alongside Mudrock.
Penance is pretty fun and great! S1 is great for AFK with trash mobs, and I’ve been using it frequently. But against Agent 74 I use her S2 and put her on the side since she can deal damage but not directly block him.

I know I'm late to comment on this video but she's even greater paired with Aak with her S3 because it can stack faster after Aak shoots her. Easier skill activation 👍🏻
As someone who got her to pot 1, an excellent addition to my defenderknights lineup
If you get Penance and don't have Skalter, get Perfumer's Module to level 2. It gives her a big boost to the passive healing talent, and isn't very expensive because Perfumer is a 4* op.
At the 9th 10 pull got Texas alter and two penance . First time got three 6 stars in 1 multi . Already trying to m6 Texas . Will take some time to raise penance .

However she looks really cool as lady justice and her role in story is really fun from what I have seen already.
Her S2 should be fun to use with Spectre Alter passive.
So in a 3 line defense, i can make a Mudrock, Blemishine and Penance barrier and Blemi can do healing in between? Sounds nice

This banner was kinda nutty for me. I went for 600 pulls as a whaling lunatic because I only started last september and wanted at least W and Nearl. I ended up getting a dupe Skadi, new Rosmontis, 5 texas and 7 penance along with a dupe Saria and Dupe Magallan. Honestly ended up amazing (Since I had some tokens to push texas to pot 6 and I got Rosmontis too :D).
Very happy with the way it went.
Only really disappointing thing was realizing the Fugue skin doesn't rerun this event. Anyone know when it comes back?

It's not that I didn't want Penance. It's that I didn't want three of her and no one else. Doesn't help that I'm still far from Chapter 11 and kind of want to get the 6* Selector Ticket for Mudrock because Mudrock.

Somehow i got 2 texas alter & 1 penance without preparing any orundum. purely from daily login & OR from event. while i cant get thorns from previous banner after spending alot. holy shyt gacha.
Blemishine honestly makes the 6 star Juggarnauts shine even more.
I got texalter and her in 90 pull. But i am more interested in her. i want to build teams around juggernaut and duelist defender. Now i just need to somehow pull horn for the juicy attack buff.
Her jp voice is Sayaka Ohara one of my fav VA and luckily I got her from free 10 pull ticket 😍
With the various good VAs alone is reason enough to build her.
How does her M3S1 work with Erato's lv6 S1? In the situation thst there is only one enemy, Erato will sleep the enemy for 5 seconds every 10 second, and then Penance will use her charged S1 to stunned another 5 seconds. That should keep the target CCed forever. Unfortunately most bosses won't take the sleep effect.
Penance is one of the top 3 defenders operators you should used
After the banner yoinked my primes (im a freshie) I've got her! Now im hoping this game will not become a cake walk for me because i want a challenge
Everyone talks about Blemi/Juggernaut but no one mentions how Sailech Skill 2 can plant itself on Juggernauts having them heal most of their HP in seconds. :3

Penance was one of the first operators I ever got, the third one I think. As a new player, I had a lot of anxiety about using her, since she was so expensive and I wasn't using Myrtle then. I didn't like using her, and though E2'ing her would be a waste, and never used her for a couple months. As a more experienced doctor, she's on my team pretty much all the time with Thorns and Mountain, and I've started to really appreciate her as a tank now that I can deploy her appropriately. For any new players, I really suggest building her to E2 and mastering her third skill, I've never seen an enemy actually manage to take her down since.
Got her and Texalter pot 1 in 60 pulls. I've never felt so lucky
Cool, I got her to pot 4 somehow so I'll use her. Hopefully I can get her to pot 5 before I get to 100 pulls

Aak S2M3 will make her immortal. Because it instantly gives her 15 hits and increases her HP thus increasing barrier size., I think you can get 24k worth of a barrier, plus her normal HP. And by the time her S3 is over, Aak is almost ready to cast his skill again.
Instantly E2 her even tho i have mudrock m3, yet it's still fun using in battle.

I got Penance in 12 pulls. Though still no Texas alter after 50 pulls. I broke after e2 her. Never ready the mats because if I have enough for them, I never got them. It's happened before..
I got two penance and eyjafjalla (both new operators) in 99 rolls.... Idk was good or kind good to be fair , maybe yes bc i don't have mudrock and a decent caster

I loved her design so much. Skills seemed amazing too on paper. After few months and trying to use her in recent spam of events.... she is sadly pretty bad, putting normal defender works better and can be healed. Rarely you have chance in any stage in the game to actually be able to maintain her skills. Maybe im doing something wrong but she never survives any danger i try to put her in to actually use her, defense recovery doesnt help, at least i have Blem for that. For the record i didnt give her too much chances and i still plan to work with her (well, as i got her its better to get my money worth :P )
She is somewhat situational, but extremely good in those situations if you can identify them.
Don't try to use her against tanky enemies that attack slowly and do lots of damage unless she can set up on a crowd of smaller guys first. She can pretty easily solo half a map's worth of enemies and then use the barrier and SP she built up to smash bosses or elites to bits, without taking any damage herself, if you put her in the right spot at the right time

Damn i was tryna pull for texter but they gave me 3 penance, still a win for me :)
It is now confirmed my account is rigged into defenderknights, I got Penance in 20 pulls already having two Hoshigumas and a Mudrock, but I still have no considerable DPS. Fits my tastes so I can't complain, but some stages really ask for burst that I have to borrow since I don't have any.
