He didst forget. But he understand it was a misunderstanding and that the fight was essentially a set up to begin with. Plus, he ask himself what his brothers would think and conclud, that like him, knew it was a misunderstanding and he is family. If only any of them knew begore that fight, Itadori would have three brothers. And knowing what type of person he is, would have been overjoy at having a bigger family.
