THIS VIDEO IS RIGHT ON TIME! I just bought a used 55mm 2.8 macro lens on Ebay and have been getting used to the manual focus..but the lens sharpness and resolution are GREAT! Thanks for showing me another use for the macro lens, and I'm learning to use it as a walkaround lens as well Keep up the great work!
I appreciate your humbleness! I like how you showed using the macro lens for closeups of hands, feet, mouth, etc! Well worth my time watching this video ;-)
I love your videos! I love that you are showing your weaknesses with us. It makes me feel better knowing that we are all trying to improve and learn! Thank you! Have you ever filmed and posted a whole session or whole segment of a session so we can see your transitions from pose to pose?
Great goal! I've been resisting the temptation of buying a macro lens so much. My brother is very good at using his on insects, and I love fungi and other flora - I never thought to use it for hands and such though! Ooh... Now I have an excuse. 🤓
Hey Fenna, thanks for the great vid. If you havent yet, then try move from full to 03-05m on the 90mm switch. Then it will not be focus breathing so mutch ;) Cheers - Andreas.
I have the Tamron 90mm Macro and I love it! I have used it for portraits, but it can be a bit tricky. It is excellent for those tiny details though~ :)
I am using the canon macro 100mm 2.8. I am also using it for portrait/maternity session.. The image is so crisp and sharp.. It's my go to lense when shooting outside!
I use canon 100mm, you may find it easier to upgrade to a Nikon 100mm. The 10mm makes a bug difference as well as focusing. Thank you for Shari g Fenna, it's nice to see one be humble😁
Hi Fenna. I know you don't usually answer questions on old videos but please help with a link for buying the purple "not real fur" flokati. Pretty pretty please.
uh, love your photos! I tried a canon 105mm macro lens on my old Canon 600D and I found that it made drop my battery much faster cause of the AF. I also noticed that I have to put a lot of strain on the focus point and this gives me a headache, since I often get a headache :( This macro lens gave me beautiful and super sharp photos tho, even if I took them with an APS camera :)
Heyy fenna!! Unrelated to this video! I remember you mentioned ages ago a program you used for free background music for you videos! I have no idea what it was called though!! Could you let me know which one it was please!!❤️❤️❤️
Awesome video! I learnt so much from you, have my first newborn photo session tomorrow and feel a little confident now 😊

I love your videos! I finally took a leap of faith and bought a 24-70 2.8 lens! Thank you for inspiring me everytime I watch a video!!

Sync your camera times and sort them by file time instead to get them in order. I do this with 3 cameras(2 I used and 2nd shooter's) for events. :)

Great vid.
I‘m using a extension tube for macro with my 16-55 f2.8 Fuji lens (24-70 on ff). It works well. But when I shoot Nikon I use the same Tamron lens!

Mooie macro foto's ga het eens proberen ik heb een nikon 60 mm macrolens.
WIth a macro lens like that, you don't focus with the lens, you focus by moving closer or further away.
What other lenses do you use for your newborn sessions
I still have hard time with macro lens.🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️someday I'll get better at it, I promise.
I plan on using my macro lens more, like you I need practice. Another good video.
