I bought a blast effect for Shattered Glass Optimus that works the same way. They give you a magnetic energon crystal. If you run it past the blast effect, it lights up. I love it.
It's super cool, makes it nice and hidden with no button to accidentally activate, just kind of annoying you need a tool. Something I discovered with the Purple Potat while I was filming is that if I leave the Eye on it gets like stuck on, and I need a stronger magnet to shut it off. Doesn't happen with the thrusters though.
This figure looks pretty great, I like the purple color they used on this one. Usually, shockwaves have either too dark or too light of a hue, but I think the figure pulls it off nicely. I will not be getting this figure, however, as it doesn’t match my collection.
I find that he fist in quite well with MPs, and yes the Purple is Perfect. But while I do not like to mix my collection, I don't have a problem separating my collection into categories. Plus if you don't have MPs you can leave him in ship mode, and put him with the 86 Sweeps, and Kingdom Cyclonus and Galvs.
If I get this figure I’m going to display him with my legends class figures because shockwave can be a giant that transformers into the decepticons ship. Also great video 👍
When I first saw a leak screenshot of the alt mode, I was expecting it to be galvatron. Also, is it just me, or does his thumb seem huge in comparison to the other fingers?

This looks really good. Also I got transcraft bumblebee in the mail from showz yesterday and it is probably the best version of that design and bumblebee and he's my favourite transformer since I was young and his solo movie was spectacular.

Shockwave is one of the strangest designs from that Movie. Like What Happened to his head, it's like 2 and a half times wider than it should be. Also the barrel to gun arm ratio is just terrible.

Not really, no. I don't know quite what it is but I don't like the High Moon designs. Like any of them. There's just something off about them to my eye, and they are very guilty of doing the thing I don't like where the altmode is just stuff. A thing. An object with wheels or thrusts, but not a vehicle of any kind. I get those designs are really loved, and while I don't get it my self, I also don't know why I don't like them, I can't articulate it at all.

Plus I liked his drones and the way he used them. And as for DotM, "it doesn t look like him". You known this argument can be used on any (with acception to Prime) Bayverse charackter. And as for reasons why I like him, I like his head, especially with antena turned in to devil horns. Plus maybe with acception on TF Prime, no other Shockwave has that EPICK hand gun as DotM one. i imagine if shockwave fought in the battle of auto bot city, and was thrown out of astro trains air lock with the others, and met unicron, unicron would most likly rebuild shockwave into this. and as punishment for probally saying that unicron even existing was "illogical" unicron would force shockwave to transform into the revenge. (worst name for a ship ever btw- why not the destroyer? or the nemesi?) and then shockwave could actually survive the movie and make cameos in g1 season 3, maybe even appearing in the final episodes of g1 in robot mode fighting the auto bot titans!

Not really, no. I don't know quite what it is but I don't like the High Moon designs. Like any of them. There's just something off about them to my eye, and they are very guilty of doing the thing I don't like where the altmode is just stuff. A thing. An object with wheels or thrusts, but not a vehicle of any kind.
I get those designs are really loved, and while I don't get it my self, I also don't know why I don't like them, I can't articulate it at all.

It's very good, it just has a few serious issues.
1 Those spikes are absolutely dangerous.
2 The Joints are too tight.
3 The alt mode heeds to hold together better.
Outside that everything else is a positive.

Well... The figure is the Irony all on it self. You sayed everything on this figure is more TIGHT them Scourge arms rists swivels. And yet one of the tabs isnt TIGHT enought.... This is bad comedy 😝.But over all yea... The ship and the figure is very, VERY well done. And thats coming from someone who don t like Shockwave desighn that much. Plus.... The "Rocket punch" scene... PURE COMEDY GOLD 😁.

@@PerspectiveEnd aha.. Ok. And as for your question. Shockwave look for the most part "isn t my cup of tea" in case of designs. Like I sayed it isn t bad, but I don t like it that much, especially the head on the G1.
The Cyberverse and DotM are only version I genually like look wise. And there is that.

And as for DotM, "it doesn t look like him". You known this argument can be used on any (with acception to Prime) Bayverse charackter.
And as for reasons why I like him, I like his head, especially with antena turned in to devil horns.
Plus maybe with acception on TF Prime, no other Shockwave has that EPICK hand gun as DotM one. But them again thats just my opinion

i imagine if shockwave fought in the battle of auto bot city, and was thrown out of astro trains air lock with the others, and met unicron, unicron would most likly rebuild shockwave into this. and as punishment for probally saying that unicron even existing was "illogical" unicron would force shockwave to transform into the revenge. (worst name for a ship ever btw- why not the destroyer? or the nemesi?) and then shockwave could actually survive the movie and make cameos in g1 season 3, maybe even appearing in the final episodes of g1 in robot mode fighting the auto bot titans!
I don't know if getting reformatted into a Giant War Ship is punishment, and what's wrong with the Revenge? How is that different from a name like the destroyer?

MP Grimlock's Knees. The whole leg flexes like 40 degrees like it's made of rubber before the joint will move one ratchet. It's horrifying, and I'm positive one day the legs will just snap.
