0:53 Who is Byrony?
0:46 Why would you be making a record on a Ship? In case people got bored and wanted to listen to music I suppose.1:08-1:09 Who?
Poor Ike had to put up with this insufferable twit for a whole week. Ike always the politician, if not for politics Ike would have sacked Montgomery during the war.
Lol, I imagine Bernard was very difficult to get along with. I reckon he was probably quite funny though.
Stay with Ike in the Whitehouse! WOW! Love to have been a fly on the wall! Or the English......spider under the table! They respected each other of course............didn’t mean they saw eye to eye on many things! Ike was Prez.....Monty was Basically the chief of the imperial whatever.
Well waddya know!!! He was with Ike again, but as President.
O general Paton éra a Pedra no sapato de Montgomery... kkkkkkk
Ironically you've all (or a large portion of you) have suffered the same fate as that of the Germans when "William Martin" became famous
You cannot have an accent in the written word.
Eisenhower said he was never again to stay in his home, as Monty behaved so appallingly when he was a guest at the Presidents private home in Gettysburg...shows what kind of a man Monty really was!
Guess Monty was used to speaking his mind and while Eisenhower sought political office, Monty never did for all the right reasons.
@@davesherry5384 That's one guess. Another could be that he was opinionated and liked the sound of his own voice and realized that with his skill set he would never have made an effective politician..
Ah another Internet hero offering free thrashings..I think not in this case dear chap💂
I’m sure they disagreed on European policy!.........reason Monty was there!
Montgomery didn't want to be a politician. He was an army man.
