You are my new motivation. I shattered my left ankle and leg a year and half ago. You video looks so familiar to the first 6 months. I hope you the best and I will hope to see more progress. I never gained full movement back in my ankle. But I’m still patient and putting it through workouts everyday.
surprised you clipped in right off the back, I’m three days out from surgery .. dreaming about getting back on the trainer … will prob swap some flat pedals in there
Hello. Great video and great effort. How is your dorsiflexion on injured leg now? Have you removed your plates? If so have they conducted arthroscopy to remove unnecessary tissues to make motion better? I would appreciate for your answers. Have a good day.
Hello thx . No I haven’t do anything with screws and plates yet my ankle is in shape when I can Run / Bike / Ski you can see my activities on instagram @majocalgary … I was wondering if another surgery and all that work would potentially make it better but also possibly worse I dunno? But there would be no way back afterwards so Iam kinda happy I can do whatever I want and live happily..
@@majosrnik8111 yes, I've seen your Instagram. Great photoes. You're sort of sporty person. That's good. Talking about plates, as long as you're happy with them that's fine. Some people ask to do arthroscopy to improve motion and flexibility better. Again, it's another stress for your ankle.
Hello again. Could you please tell me how long dit it take to reach the wall with injured leg ? Im just working on it. It is very hard. Still struggling with that. Will appreciate your answer
Legend 444 Hiya I was able to compete in ski mountaineering race 3months after the surgery ankle felt great in plastic boots but running took some time 8 months after surgery finished 3place at 100km race and after that 3 weeks later I completed 160km race... but started from nothing as you see from my videos I would say running feels completely painless but is sorta acceptable I guess when you consider the super long distances , usually 10k easy running doesn’t bring up any significant pain issues... so I was running probably 5 months after surgery really short training runs ...
I'm happy to hear you recovered well! Also I'd like to thank you for the reply. Did u feel any stiffness in the front of your ankle 6 months after surgery?
Had my surgery 5 weeks ago 8 screws plus plate, how long did you wait to exercise and get body at least moving, I feel like laying around too much can’t be good?
@@majosrnik8111 ok good to know as it's coming up to my 3rd week after surgery on my ankle I broke 3 bones I got plate n screws put in I just hope I can walk normally after 6 weeks
Faroon Faru now I can obviously it’s been 9 months post surgery today and I already run 100km race and finished on podium and two weeks later run another 175km race ( UTMB ) and finished so my foot is fine now but when this movie was made I wasn’t able to drive . Cause by law in Canada you can’t drive until you’re not able to support yourself on one leg - the one pushing the pedals ( automatic transmission ) so I believe I started driving a bit later, basically when I was able walking normally...
+Majo Srnik Ohh good to hear that now your foots are fine I broke my ankle last month and the cast is removed but my ankles are very stiff i cant move it so i am worried😓 about walking and driving...
