It's interesting that he learned blue first and the switched to white. When I was a kid (80s) the Rubik's brand cubes had blue and white on opposite sides, not blue and green like now. We definitely had heated debates about whether one should solve white first or blue first.
The Japanese color scheme still exists, just not as common anymore.

Hey Cameron, one more finger trick I think I might have noticed that could help you. Use the part of your index finger a little closer to your fingernail for U and U' turns. When you use the fingerprint part of your finger, I think your finger flexes slightly and absorbs some of the force from your muscle. If you use the tip of your finger and keep your finger curved, the power from your muscles is transferred more efficiently to the cube.

I mean, with only oll and pll being "bad," it wouldn't be as hard to improve since Cameron's a pro at f2l. Algs and certain finger tricks are wayyy more objective and easier to track progress to compared to look-ahead or prediction in f2l. A couple months, and Cameron could be sub 10

Am I the only one who thought J perms are slower than T perms until I tried one?
Honestly I struggle with the four move trigger on the J Perm (I need to git gud). The T just seems to flow better for me. But when I do nail the J Perm, it's definitely faster.
@@TSpoon823 lol it’s the opposite for me. My hand is already in place to do them while with T perms sometimes I have to change my grip a little to be more comfortable. And I don’t have stable hands so I move something else while doing a regrip lol.
