I have aquarium long 21inch its a 55 litres tank..i brought 8 juveniles..and put pvc pipes with closed end cap and some bogwood and driftwood ..will this tank be ok to breed them?? I have an other big 250 litres tank for growout for fry..any tips pls??
He doesn’t eat while he’s on eggs… as soon as the babies are released and leave the cave the male will most likely go find food. That’s why it’s best to add them into the tank with no caves at first. And condition them… feed them up lots and lots then add the caves for breeding so that when the male is ready to breed and sit on eggs he will be all fattening up and won’t need the food till he’s done.
@@LeaoJo check them again now I’d say they would already be hatched mine usually take around 4-5 days I think, not too sure. Depends if I catch the eggs just after being laid or a few days after.
Haha this batch had egg count of like 80-120 success rate was bad for 2 reasons. 1 male kicked the eggs 2 I’m on rain water and the tank crashed wile I was away. But as the title says… “Easiest way to breed” hundreds of babies. So this video was the process in which the easiest way is. Sometimes you will get hundreds sometimes you’ll get nun. It’s more the process than the results as the results will be different for each person and there breeding pair and circumstances
