This pack is literally perfect in my eyes. Very sleek and simple design full of features. Perfect for any urban/work/travel carry. The water bottle side pockets don't protrude if the main compartment isn't overfill so the bag keeps its sleek form. I just bought a tactical backpack recently which I may have to designate as a fishing gear backpack and pick up this instead!
I really liked all the angles you showed in this review, such as the "setting your bag down to work at a desk" angle. It gives you a better sense of how this pack will look. Thanks!
You're welcome, glad it was helpful :)
Awesome video! Really loved using the larger versions of this bag so I was excited to see a more daily focused size!
Thanks Danny, yeah the larger ones look great for a “one bag” travel, I feel this ones more of a daily work/school bag. Are you going to review it soon?
@@PackingLess It may be a little bit before I can get to it, but seeing how much you were able to store in the main compartment has me pumped to try it out!
Tight water bottle pockets and straps slipping/loosening-exactly the same complaints I had about the original! Great review
Thanks, I think I prefer the Minaal
It would be very cool to see a video on how you would pack this bag for a trip as a minimal travel bag!
Great idea! I actually returned this bag though, but I will be doing a 'how to pack 20L backpack' video with the Minaal Daily 3.0
Professional video 💕
Thank you so much teerak, you're my inspiration 💗
Not sure if this is out of your price range as it's kind of expensive, but I think it would be cool if you could do a review of the Capstone backpack from the brand Stuart & Lau. It looks to be more for commuting and business travel rather than leisure, but the brand does tout its ergonomics and being able to easily access the interior without having to take it off both shoulders. And I personally think it looks good, too. :)
Looks good I'll try to check it out. I have a list of bags I'd love to review but not sure I'll be able to get to them all.
with heavier items such as camera equipment, would you say the back straps still are comfy and don't strain you back too much? I love this bag!
Unfortunately not, the straps were the biggest disappointment about this bag for me
I was thinking to use it for one bag travel, I'm downsizing from 25L. Any thoughts?
Its absolutely a great choice for one bagging
Any solutions on the shoulder straps loosening easily? Very aggravating situation. I bought it used so Bellroy didn’t give me any useful solutions (not even paid ones).
There are backpack strap clips that hold the straps (although I forget the brand that makes them), I have found putting a bit of double sided velcro wrapped around it helps a bit too. I guess you could also use a binder clip to hold the straps together
Nice video! So it’s 848g, not 885g? 😅
My scale is a bit hit and miss, I just measured again and it was 875g lol. Their official site says 850g bellroy.com/products/transit-workpack/polycanvas_recycled/charcoal#slide-0
@@PackingLess Ha thanks. Maybe you’re accidentally leaving something small in the bag when weighing it?
@@RosenblumStudios Double checked, nothing there lol, but my scale was just a cheapo one. I should invest in a better quality one
good backpack but had to return it unfornately, the strap side is way too hard and cuts into my arm making it extremely unconfortable
Yeah, I returned it for the same reason. The straps are uncomfortable and have a lot of slippages in the adjustment
@@PackingLess you mean the shoulder-pad?
23L, not 20L, right?
No, the bag is 20L. They have updated their website to say 20L.
Yeah 20L, you can check under 'specifications' on their website it says 20L bellroy.com/products/transit-workpack/polycanvas_recycled/charcoal#slide-0
