im writing from uruguay i have a 2010 z1000 and it is a good bike! here in south america bikes are more expensive i had to pay 14000 for my used bike ! the new 2012 looks very good! i like the color!

Very informative video,I own the 2011 Z1000 and it kicks ass.It has it all it handles like a dream controlled power with an up right sitting position that makes the ride exciting and fun.
That was my first bike same color but few years ago no longer have it was a fun bike and I miss her

bandera001, The bike I was refering to was the original 1973 KZ900 often times called the Z1, this is what the bike was called here in the USA. May have had a different name in other country's. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I love the orange colour of that bike, I have the 2011 Candy green £8900 in the UK last June, although I didn't pay full retail ;-)
Yes, a really good street bike except for 6th gear ratio. RPMs only drop 200 RPMs when shifting from 5th. That leaves the engine "screaming" & buzzing unnecessarily at highway speeds. I cannot think of one reason they designed the 6 speed tranny like that? It should've had a big drop in gearing for comfortable cruising. You can speed & ride like a maniac in the lower 5!
They are the same. Just a difference in lighting or maybe the camera.
Wish I had a stock exhaust to one of those early seventies models.
I've ridden this bike and it's beyond amazing. I know about 4 people who have all test ridden this bike and afterwards they all wanted to buy it on the spot. It's that good. Don't be a typical 16 year old UA-cam "armchair" expert who thinks it's too heavy, or ugly, or whatever else these morons say. Take it for a test ride then give your opinion.

What is a good bike that has full crotch rocket power but better rideing position? Im from florida and their arent manny corners so the hunched over position isnt needed. Any sujections,? I want speed in strate line . .. And dont wanna kill my back .
