- The Kawasaki z1000 is a total beast and a true muscle super naked. That is not for the faint hearted. With same motor as the ZX10R but tuned for torque, this bike is an animal. design means it is not feel heavy at all. the seat height is low. You could ride this bike all day. Ive ridden a few bikes but this one really stood out. And I've been tempted to buy ever since

Its my mates bike, great bike definitely worth a look, i would put it in my top ten, the zh2 is only a little bit better (double the price)

Have you checked out the KTM SuperDuke 1290 R?
I've only ridden a ktm 790 witch was a great. I can imagine the 1290 is a beast but with a massive price tag
@@BrettJoy Yep it's quite pricey. I was looking to get one. I was having a hard time choosing a super naked.
Then whilst waiting to try the triumph speed 1050 rs, I tried the scrambler 1200xc. Loved the torque all low down and the off road ability. So I bought that.

No , this engine is made especially for the z1000 in 2009 or 2010 and it's used till nowadays. The Versys 1000 and Z1000sx use it as well.
Cool thanks for the info. Just feels more midrange power over zx10. I thought they must of done what yamaha did with the r1 and mt10 same engine (tuned different)
