i love hypochlorous acid! definitely helps with my eczema itchiness and i like to use it on my face after micellar water when i'm too tired to wash my face at the sink.
I use a bunch of pillowcases in between washes. I sleep two nights on the same one. They’re so small so they fit in the big wash with the rest of the sheets
Hypochlorous acid is the main active ingredient in vetericyn (an animal wound care spray). That stuff is amazing. I didn’t realize hypochlorous acid was safe for humans too. I may try to find some for myself!
I buy mine at the optometrist for my eyelids because i do occular rosacea. Help to avoid infection because of congested glands et that help for my acnee rosacea !!

Hypochlorous acid can easily be made with non iodized salt and water via electrolysis. Ph adjusted with vinegar. The countertop machine is right around $100 and makes about a liter at a time. In comparison to the price of a single 8 oz bottle, the machine is worth every penny.
It helped me a lot with my rosacea and eczema during my pregnancy. Couldn't use much of my normal skincare that keeps it down (either wasn't pregnancy save or my skin couldn't handle it) and the hormones did the rest. But this stuff plus zink based cream helped a lot.
I used this on my eyes for when I was initially treating my blepharitis, and it helped so much in getting it under control. I recommended it to a friend who was breaking out all over due to sweating at work, and it worked great for her too. I also used it back in the day in ointment form for my mice when I had a bully who was beating up her tank mates to help their wounds heal, since it's so gentle and is non-toxic. All anecdotal, and it's not a cure-all, but when it works it works.
I don't know if she backs it but I started using skin smart facial clenser one and it's a good price in comparison to some others. It's a big 8 oz bottle which bigger than alot of them and is only 17 bucks. It's helped with my irritation and with my acne when I use 2-3 times daily on a regular basis. I still get some breakouts but I'm loving it and its really seems to be helping me. I think I will forever be using a hypochlorous acid unless I stop being acne prone randomly at some point. lol
You spray your face and let it dry. You then apply any other skin care on top. I personally haven't noticed any dryness, but it did help soothe my eczema.
It's a disinfectant so it's not intended to lighten skin tone. It can help cool down your skin if you're feeling hot as well. Melasma can be worsened in the heat like in saunas so this has potential to alleviate the heat, but so can water and it won't directly help with hyperpigmentation.

yes! i have such bad sensory issues and it helps to wash my face this way on days when it’s bad
Is it just me or is Dr. Dray's skin looking extra amazing in the last few vids?
Hypochlorous acid spray has been amazing for my eczema.
same!!!❤
Mine too! Cheaper and works better than the gross oily ointment my doctor had me using
I work outside (in Texas so I’m SWEATING) using this while I’m working has helped so much in reducing acne
Which one do you use
You know you can trust your dermatologist when their skin looks like Dr drays
She must have had something done to her skin!!
I used this for absolutely everything when I had my baby in 2019. So glad I had tons of bottles when the pandemic started later.
How does it relate to the pandemic? It doesn't kill viruses and isn't good for disinfection
Yes it does and yes it is. It's used as hospital grade disinfectant.
It doesn’t reduce my acne (I don’t think) but I still use it like crazy lol. Especially on my pillow case between washes!
SUCH A GOOD IDEA

I love it, specifically for my rosacea and as a cooling spray for the hot flashes I'm blessed with 🙄 due to surgical menopause. 🤷🏻♀️
Dr. Dray would you ever start your own skin line?
Is this something we should worry about in terms of disrupting the skins microbiome? Or even possibly antibiotic resistance?
Dr dray your lashes are so beautiful 🌺✨🌺✨

I use it after the gym! So I won’t break out
SAVED my skin. I will use this forever.
It helps me !
Do we think this might be helpful for skin issues from wearing an N95 for the full work week?
Yes. During Covid she recommended it actually for that reason.
Yes. She actually recommend this during Covid for that reason.
^ I remember, I think she recommended it even after post workout like if you can't make it to the shower right after your workout
Do you know in which video please?
I wonder if it would help with seborrheic dermatitis 🤔
I just wash my face with it in the morning haha non stripping at all !!!
I use sski potassium iodide for rashes it works on everything even psoriasis
I use this spray after my dermaplan or shaving 🪒
My husbands eye Doc has him wiping his eye lids with it, to prevent infections…
I just wipe my face with micellar water after i get sweaty then reapply my sunscreen
will this work on grover's disease ?
Dr dray can I use cc cream to reapply spf over makeup??
Yes, you can. To get the level of spf stated on the tube (30,40,50), you need to apply the right amount of cc-cream = 1,25 ml for the face 👍🏻💞
@@Sara_Lindros thnx:)
Did I just find the treatment for my itchy armpits?
Do you have under eye filler? Mine looks like that. I want to dissolve it and do it all over again because it looks nice when it’s fresh.
Your forehead looks better , did u get botox or is it just skincare ?
Ya this did nothing for my skin other than me spending money on water.
Where can I buy legit and good quality hypochlorus acid I can’t seem to find them in stores as easily

Is it drying? Just bought some for acne but my face is dry enough
In my experience yes. I have oily skin and daily use of it was definitely drying me out.

@@sumlem thank you so much
Yesss another junk product from the tiktok shop😂🤣
If it's from tik Tok shop, then it's probably junk. There are $8 option on Amazon and Sephora has Tower 28 SOS spray for $28
In the meantime, her face is super red and she's probably not wearing sunscreen. 😒
Who's face is super red?
@@LissaJaded The girl in the video, spraying her face.
I thought that was who you meant, but I didn't have glasses on so I couldn't see her face well. Thanks for answering.
