In this video we continue the progress on the NBS Silverado Single cab Dually build. In this video we get a set of new door panels cleaned up and ready to install. I like to tackle everything I can while the door panels are off. I knew we need to fix the switch holder because they are always broken. I just used some JB Weld epoxy to reinforce the area the connect. I also sent my new and old switches to east coast gauge repair to have all new led back lighting installed. It makes the interior so much cleaner and more modern looking. The door panels were in good shape but needed a good clean up with my extractor and some cleaner. After cleaning I did do some touch up with SEM Paint. This is the factory dash color for the dark gray 03-07 classic silverado and sierra interior. Last we used some chemical guys silk shine to make the door panels look good. I like it because it isn't greasy but puts some protection in a dried out panel. Man, I need to get in deep and clean like you do. Had my dash bezel off to install my double din and I still have dust falling out of the vents. I don't think anything has ever been taken apart and cleaned on my truck in 24 years of its life! Great content man.

avalanche door panels is what they are. Iove the diamond plate style inserts. And my 04 has the exra screw and pin for the door panel. My 07c did not. I really think it was just how they felt that day type thing.

Looks good! I've been looking for manual crank door panels, window assembly, and crank handle for my 06 V8 manual reg cab short bed. Previous owner took out the manual windows and installed these cheap chinese crap power windows and butchered the door panels for the crap switches. Passenger side hasn't worked for a few years and driver side just stops working at random.

Not an interior comment but did you look into adding the 2019 up GMC Sierra front brake calipers and rotors? The reason for the suggestion, every time I watch a video on this truck I keep looking at the front dually rim conversion. It just looks so heavy and the stock brakes are so so with the stock rims and tires. I did the conversion on my 2003 suburban and it made a huge difference in stopping. Not a criticism just a suggestion.
