I've been using the Intuos Pro for years and decided to get this Small Intuos as a back up for travelling and small spaces: didn't expect too much but tbh I'm amazed at the quality of this thing: solidly made, doesn't look or feel cheap and it can do everything I normally do on the Intuos Pro: in fact I think the surface and stylus is slightly better(!). Amazed.
First of all, I need to praise the very good quality of the video. I'm thinking about buying this tablet as soon as possible, it seems very versatile for drawing and freehand writing.
Thank you for the comment about the video quality :)
@@LICHTCATCHINGTOBY i agree about comments on the video quality, you seem very professional with the content. loving it, you should do more!
@@FinancialFaiz Thats really nice of you! I am trying to, but my job currently keeps my really busy
Excellent review. Definitely influenced my purchase decision. Thanks!
Thank you, had a lot of fun doing the review!
I just got the tablet today, thanks for the explanation 🙏🏾
This video was helpful i received my tablet on saturday and i was lost on how to set it up but tnx to this video i was able to set it up and it now works perfectly
Just got mine today for Christmas can’t wait to use it
Good video, thinking about getting it now. Thank you!
I'm getting the small version as a birthday gift! It'll be my first drawing tablet and I'm so excited!! I'll edit once it arrives and I try it out✨✨
Edit: OMG!! This is amazing! The tablet works great! The pen is amazing, and overall I really like it! The buttons work good on both the pen and tablet. When drawing, then pen works amazing and there isn't any lag!
i just got this today and it's not bad.. i had a graphire and a bamboo something or other back in the day, 10 or more years ago.. to be honest i think they were built a little better back then, the bamboo even came with a nice little pen holder which i still use today..
The accent makes the video even better, wow.. Loved this review and the good quality vid
Thank you very much :) Its an Austrian accent in case you are wondering.
Thanks for the video. I’ve been thinking about buying a Wacom tablet for so long. This video helped me understand its worth a bit more.
Been using it for Zbrush for half year , fantastic quality. It is quite very durable
@My Tablet Guide do you, or anyone else looking at this comment, know if this tablet is good to use with blender 3d sculpting or any sculpting ? And how is it in comparison to using the more expensive graphics display tablets for 3d sculpting ?
We should pay attention to the size of the drawing area or the pressure level of the pen, and whether the pressure level will affect the degree of X/Y sensitivity?
hey I just got that tablet but I have a problem with it. my pencil doesn't click or draw and I don't know what's the problem. I would be so happy if you wish to help me
On Linux... just plug it in and it works ;-)
I'm running Kubuntu 20.04. Works great!
Same with Pop!_OS! It even has a dedicated settings section
Which is better wacom ctl4100 or Xp Pen Star 03 v2? Why ?
does it work for chrombook? if so how do you connect it?
i bought the medium as my first wacom tablet.. it was just too big and overpriced for my current needs. i exchanged it for the small size. so far the small version works very well for me. maybe in about 3 to 4 years ill upgrade toe the large.
Which better for teaching and writing ? s or m
I was gonna get medium but i trust u and will get small
I have an Intuos S on my Windows 11 laptop and with Affinity Photo (as well as a few other apps) at times it doesn't disable the selected tool's function when the pen is lifted. For example, if I'm painting with the Affinity Photo inpainting brush, sometimes when I lift the pen I get a streak of "paint" across the screen despite the pen being well above the tablet surface (by 10cm or more). And that happens even with the sensitivity quite low. I've kept the drivers up to date, but to no avail. Other than that, I like it, but that bug (?) makes it very touchy and at times almost unusable.
Do I need a specific design program for it?
Great Video & very informative. How do you install the sofrtware ?
is there Driver portable version to install this?
Hello.
In the quickstsrter guide.
There is a wacom website to visit.
Could you please type in the name of the website?
is there any coupon code which is applicable in all the country's sites?
The Included "Instructions" are minimally inadequate. A few diagrams of what is included and a paragraph to DL the driver. On a Mac you will have to give the driver several security permissions in Accessibility but the instructions are not up to date for macOS Ventura.
Nowhere does it say how it is powered or whether it is precharged, how to tell if it is charged or not, or what powers the pen. Nor whether working on the small surface scales up in higher resolution images. Nor what the colours of the light (none, orange, blue) on the tablet mean.
When I plugged it into my charger and connected the tablet to my MacBook Pro M1 Pro with bluetooth, I lost use of my trackpad, the cursor disappeared and the Wacom Pen was not working onscreen. Then Wacom Center crashed unexpectedly. On restarting it reported the tablet was not responding.
The old style micro USB to USB A cable requires a hub or adapter to connect to USB-C and I know will wear out. So I have ordered a USB-C to micro USB cable.
Not exactly Plug & Play or documented.
Is there a rubber grip for it?
Thanks for the review! Could you tell me your keyboard model and some impressions about it? I see it liiks like an apple 1243 one
Awesome high quality vid 👍
Thanks 👍
Can i use sketch3d and Max 3d
answered every question I had.
can it be use on androids ?
Is the pen compatible with other devices? I have a "Asus Transformer mini T102HA" and my asus pen just retired.., I also want a new tablet so this would be perfect for me.
Also i'm definitely thinkig about this tablet thanks to this video.
Can it works in zbrush??
Where is this made?
What CTL stands for?
how do i turn it on????
Wow great review bruv
Osu
Edit: im thinking about getting a drawing tablet for 2d art and 3d scuplting which well also do good for OSU the intuos and intuos pro are the 2 i might get after deciding which tablet to get based on features and performance and reviews
Looks that this is ideal instrument
How well does it work with the various Adobe CC programs, like Premiere Pro and After Effects, etc.?
very well
I love it, but wish it were a bit larger
Comfortable with this❤️
Might be a dumb question but I'm going ask anyway. Can this be used to draw over other things (MS Word or whatever is on your screen) or does it only work in Art based programs?
Yes. The tablet works like a cursor. You can use it in any program.
i think you need to install something extra to draw over everything
Nice explain
Thank You ❣️
I have it and it is awesome
is there a possibility of the pen running out of battery? in that case is there anyway to charge the pen?
the pen is battery free so no need for charging :)
Is wacom a chinese brand?
I ordered this one
great video you convinced me to buy one
thandkyouuu
i got the same tablet but im missing the cable. is there any way i can only buy the cable?
you may have accidentally bought the bluetooth one
@@randomjapsi no i uh, kinda forgot where the cable is
As much as I like it, a medium or large will save your wrist.
So we have to buy a photoshop also?
yup
Nope! You can use it on other art programs like firealpaca , Krita and gimp!
Thanks
Its really overpriced. You can buy a gaomon s620 or s630 that works with all programs + 9k pressure levels for like around 50 bucks and an extra feature is that you can connect it to android OS phones.
Edit : what i mean by the extra feature is that 8 nibs come with it and also with an extra usb to usb c / micro usb adapter.
Wacom is disaster. Never more, the worst item I ever had in my life. I was so happy when it broke completely just after warranty was finished. Pure quality 😂. Now I bought new tablet of different company, so much better
feets
Don't buy this tablet. It sucks. From my experience with the larger one, this tablet was no wheel to adjust brush diameter, and the pen doesn't have an eraser tip, severely affecting my workflow. Also the Bluetooth doesn't connect, only the usb
I'm torn between Wacom Intous S & XP-Pen Deco 3, XP-PEN has alot to offer but Wacom is more durable than XP-Pen products, i cant decide what to choose😢
@@xl5009 if you already have an old tablet, and the USB won't charge, I recommend picking up a universal lithium ion battery pack so that you can bypass the jenky circuit, that was my solution
"doesn't have an eraser tip"... Do you realise most beginner small tablets from other companies don't put that with their cheap tablets? Including most of what you just described ? For example: the gaomon s620 doesn't have a pen with an eraser tip too yet it's still a great tablet.
👎
ugh why is it that everyone reviewing tablets always draw such shitty drawings
Kurt?
