1978 : 16 yo was chatting with a friend getting him bored with my neverending praise of Cerrone, when he told me : "If you like Cerrone, you'll love Giorgio Moroder" and he lent me 2 LPs "Knights in White Satin"& "From Here to Eternity". 2 great disco albums, but I have to say that "Knights in White Satin" better suits my tastes, especialy the part titled "In The Middle Of The Night" 4'49-15'01 a masterpiece of arrangement.

These are some of the things that were happening to me when I first got this L.P. from a crazy uncle in 1977 I guess) !) I was madly in love with my math teacher - I was 15 she was 25 - If I knew then what I know now I would have married her - 2) I could drive already and I would drive my aunt´s VW beettle while she was sleeping, until I ran out of gas! - got away with it big time! 3) I could never afford a brand new Playboy magazine - was always second third hand ! 4) I would wait until my 20 yr old cousin fall asleep and then unbotton her shirt and enjoy the view, with my crazy Mom snoring next to her! If I had an errand to run I´d never walk - simply run everywhere ! 5) I did not have an ouce of fat on by body - just skin and bones ! 6) Black and white movies were a must watch on our BW tv on Sundays, etc......... Those were the days when I was happy beyond compreehension, and this song brings it all back with such a force that makes wonder what life is all about after all.

listened to the original Moody blues first in prep for listening to this. something seemed off to me so I listened to Moroder song "Chase" and realized in this song he just sung moody blues lyrics over a early version of Chase!!! I am a Moroder fan so don't get mad LOL
