Hi Linda, thank you for the video! I didn't can any tomatoes this year as I'm still working through jars from prior years. I have jarred 6 pints of sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil and italian spices. I LOVE this on pasta. Such a great idea from you. Thank you!
Linda, I'm thinking it could have been grasshoppers that are the carrot leaves. We had more than our share of grapes this year that are all the leaves off my spinach, green beans, carrots and sweet peas. I hope they aren't as bad next year.
Your carrot foliage was probably eaten by black swallowtail caterpillars. They love plants in the carrot family like celery, dill, parsley, carrots etc

Linda, you can just freeze your Swiss Chard in vacuum sealer bags without blanching. The trick is to cook from frozen without thawing.

I just had that happen with Pinto beans I canned....great seal then went to wash them a day later and the lid came off....crazy
I had the same problem. I figured it was cheap lids.
I only got 6 tomatoes this year from 8 plants.
What recipe did you use for the sauce? Last one I tried I didn’t like so stopped making sauce thank you
