I’m not really sure what the hate is towards her though, but I don’t blame Harry for leaving since his mother (Princess Diana) went through the same thing, leading to her death.

Heck even the other royal siblings liked her and got along well with her. The reason everything went south for Diana was because of Charles, his affair, and insecurities. He hated her because she outshined him at every step and he made sure that his friends were leaking false rumours of her to the media so that she would lose the love of the public. 90% of the negative press Diana got was leaked by Charles' aid and friends. The media in the UK LOVED Meghan at the beginning and supported her wholeheartedly. They even had articles early in her marriage praising how much better she is at being a "duchess" than Kate and using her to make fun of Kate. The RF also welcomed Meghan with open arms and the Queen showed her and Harry a lot of favor. Their mansion alone was a huge gift that shocked many people because royals in Harry's position - ie down the line of succession - don't typically get that many benefits. Meghan was her own worst enemy and she fell in the eyes of the media, the British public and the RF because of her obnoxious hollywood-style behavior. She wanted to be the star of the family and hated having to play second fiddle to others. She wanted to keep her "Hollywood Celebrity" lifestyle in addition to becoming a royal and unfortunately thats not how things work in the UK where people pay taxes to support the RF and your spendings and behavior are constantly being scrutinized by all.

If Harry wants a private life, then I'm all for it... Just don't turn against your family. I hope to Diana's boys reunite again.

He was a carefree bachelor responsible only for himself then. He’s a grown man now with a wife, child, mortgage, job, and charity to run. Responsibility has a way of making you grow up. He chose his path in life...we don’t get to see his joy behind closed doors the joys of fatherhood, being a husband, CEO, property owner. He no longer has public duties that he is obligated to perform where we all get to watch them as the cameras roll non-stop. He is no longer a public civil servant but a private citizen.

Harry has spoken of this.

My cousin is white and her husband is a mixed race between black and white. The conversations about this with babies is had all the time. Truly unfortunate. William was only trying to give Harry brotherly advice as anyone would do if they were concerned about a relationship moving too fast. He saw red flags and soon that became true.
