    I don't know why I didn't think to bring out my bb laser. The problem is that the gun is so damn good that no one wants me to use it in a game. D and Sam insist that I keep it at home when we do private games (and I agree, it unbalanced things too much), and I haven't played a public game in a few years.

    1:19 the system is called the Super V Recoil Mitigation System. It directs the force of the recoil down instead of back into the users shoulder, helping to stabilize each shot fired with less effort. The SMG is also not open to public, only to military and police personnel. Without military or police credentials, it is illegal for anyone to own the Vector SMG. But Kriss has designed the Vector CRB and SBR using the same system so civilians can own a Vector.

    WE tech Glock series is phenomenal. For pistols it's highly customizable if you don't have a budget, if you do, it's cheap for most GBB green gas pistols (around 130$ for a g18c) and mostly comparable with Tokyo Marui parts as well. Fires super straight, and takes a beating. Super easy to field strip and lube the slide once every few games/ months. Never let me down. Only thing is you need a tighter recoil spring for full auto on the 18c because it comes slower than it can fire. It fires around 1500 bbs per min with a good spring. Mags are 25$ a pop, super cheap for green gas, they usually run 30-60$ on other sidearms. Holds gas like a legend and can take a beating just like the gun itself. Gas valves are pretty hidden and well made because WE Tech. So even if you drop it valve first onto something, it's not likely you will break the mag. If glock isn't your kind of style, the MP4 which closely resembles the Smith and Wesson M&P 9 has a solid recoil, feels absolutely amazing, and has very consistent shots. WE tech also have Big Birds which are the full auto M&P 9 variant. And if you like the good old 1911, they have 5.1 high kapas which perform outstanding

    The old L85 aeg's are one of the best AEG DMR platforms for effective range with tuning, because of the huge cylinder volumes they provide. And you can even do bore up mods (whole kits are a bit hard to get atm for the 2.5 long gearbox). There are only 4 types of AEGs that feature such large cylinders to work with and they are mostly uncommon and unused.
    The l85 is also a dream to work on, everything can be removed by pretty much one PIN for quick tests, the gearbox is split, there is a lot of space for cable management, for example with a gate warfet, etc. you can build different upper gearboxes and switch them out pretty quick, they are robust and overall just wonderful.

    2:50 - that's a myth! BBS don't contact the barrel like real guns, so there's no relationship. Longer barrels will give a little higher fps though, to an extent of the cylinder volume

    • @blanktenshii_9554
      @blanktenshii_9554 3 роки тому +5

      ikr? i wonder why many people belive that barrel length impacts accuracy, it's simple physics. also, for the record, at 5:23 niko says that a mosfet improves trigger response time which is completely untrue, usually "mosfets" that improve trigger response include modifications directly to it. a simple one just prevents wire corrosion so you can use 11.1 lipos without breaking your gear box

    • @AcesHighMedia
      @AcesHighMedia 3 роки тому +1

      @@blanktenshii_9554 Good mosfets greatly improve trigger response. My Ares Amoeba is solid proof of this, as it prevents the gearbox from locking up as its programmed to do a full gear cycle with just a tap of the trigger, and it is quick and snappy right out of the box with no modifications. My non mosfet guns dont compare.

    • @blanktenshii_9554
      @blanktenshii_9554 3 роки тому +1

      @@AcesHighMedia my cm16 raider 2.0 has quick trigger time too but it's not thanks to the mosfet itself dude, if you buy a mosfet and install it to a classic aeg you're not gonna feel much differnce when shooting as the trigger is untouched by it. prebuilt aegs with mosfets usually include an electronic trigger among other things. same thing for "good mosfets" like, let's say, a TITAN aren't just mosfets but rather whole transofrmation kits for your rifle. they're usually marketed as such for the sake of understanding.
      the thing is that many (like niko) believe that a mosfet is a completely different way of designing an AEG while the truth is that it's just a small chip that prevents corrosion by regulating the current flowing through the gear box. every other "addon" is its own thing that usually needs a mosfet to function

    aps acp is a gbb that can use green gas (propane) or co2 just buy the mag's that you want, green gas needs more lube but doesn't have the holes in the mag, it's blowback and really accurate, plus it's cheap and customizable, and easy to repair if improperly maintained, fires underwater and if you use propane, you can shoot near fire and it'll have the muzzle flash but I advice against it since it's dangerous

    2:50 Barrel length has absolutely nothing to do with accuracy. It is mostly the hopup that determines accuracy, and the balancing between the barrel length and cylinder volume. What also would help is finishing of the inside of the barrel.

    • @fakenews6133
      @fakenews6133 6 років тому

      I dont know much about airsoft, but doesnt the longer barrel give the air more time to push the ball, thus launching it faster?

    • @tHaH4x0r
      @tHaH4x0r 6 років тому

      That is of course only assuming that the cylinder volume is bigger than the barrel volume, which is not always the case. But yes, if the cylinder volume is bigger than barrel volume, it will keep accelerating the projectile, but that does not translate into accuracy, but FPS.

    • @fakenews6133
      @fakenews6133 6 років тому +1

      tHaH4x0r But wouldnt the speed translate to one's accuracy, because if it takes the ball 3 seconds to move off course, and it moves 100 feet in a second, your accurate range would be about 300 feet.
      But if it moves 150 feet in a second and takes 3 seconds to move off course, your range is 450.

    • @tHaH4x0r
      @tHaH4x0r 6 років тому

      Well, aerodynamics is not my cup of tea, but I assume that accuracy is not a linear independant function of time. I would expect something that moves faster through air, to experience far more turbulence. And from my understanding, it is a combination of mainly this turbulence through air that affects the accuracy, as well as internal bouncing.
      I do think that the slower (and lighter) the projectile, the more influence you would find wind has on accuracy though, but that is independent of inherent accuracy of a rifle.

    The most reliable airsoft pistol I've ever owned is a cheap Walther p99 that still has close to 300 fps. It's been wet, dusty, muddy, and beat on and thanks to it's d.a.o. system it has yet to misfire ever. The mag got stuck once a year ago and that's the only problem I've had with it. It was only $60.

    I usually run with a G&G F2000 with the integrated optic for most outdoor games at medium range. I can't say enough good things about this gun, the only drawback though is the weight combined with the fact that it requires a really specific sling. But yeah, bulpup all the way. For CQB I play with the Ares Amoeba (the model with the MP5K foregrip and foldable stock). What's nice about using these as my two main guns is that they both use M4 mags, however the F2000 will only feed hi-caps which is a bit annoying and the Amoeba has a flared, shortened magwell so it'll only fit certain drum mags but not others. And adapters don't work (tried to use my M4 > MP5 adapter with it). I also occasionally use my CYMA RPD with the drum mag but I don't really like lugging around really heavy guns if I can help it. My main secondary is the Gemtech Oasis pistol which is green gas but absurdly powerful given the way the firing mechanism is designed. Highly recommend. I also recently purchased a Dan Wesson 715 revolver 6" (full power) and the WE 25 gbb pocket pistol which I'm loving, although I haven't used it in game yet.
