- Опубліковано 1 жов 2024
- Explore the functionality of the 1:8 scale Ferrari 499P model in our latest handling video. Developed using original CAD designs, paint codes and material specifications from Ferrari, this edition of models replicates the #51 Hypercar as it raced to a stunning victory by Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi and the #50 Hypercar that claimed Hyperpole during the in the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans. Each model features opening doors, allowing the owner to see the intricate detailing of the racing cockpit, and a removable engine cover, lifting up to reveal the car's 2,992 cc twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Limited edition models are now available to order on our website.

This thing just called me broke in 51 different ways
Yeah and the 1:1 are even more expensive
Just 51 ways? You lack imagination. 😂🤪

@user-my3yp1wb2zAnd we've built more valuable models than our RB18 1:4 scale too, for private clients and commercial entities. 😁
@user-my3yp1wb2z We do! Just here: www.amalgamcollection.com/collections/red-bull-rb18/products/red-bull-rb18-1-4
Also, DriveTribe recently did a feature on us and they talked about the model too. We recommend having a look - it's very flattering for us!
That's a gorgeous model guys! Seriously impressive and well done! The opening features elevate it to a whole new level among resin models.
my buddy eric makes better ones
It's resin? Order cancelled what a load of shit...
@@TimmsyTFG We feel resin allows us to access a greater level of detail than die-cast. We know not everyone agrees, but our customers trust in us.
@@p00pie There are a lot of talented model makers out there, and we commend them all for their skill and hard work.
Muppet 😂😂@@TimmsyTFG
The 6 year old me would be so happy pushing this around on the floor, making car sounds😉🤣
Whilst your parents look on in horror. 😅
thats is just US $40K piece LOL
@@chassy809 bruh understand that its a high quality model with detailed interior and engine
Of all the endurance racing cars last year this one was the most stunning, excellent work on being so faithful and accurate in executing a baby version of it. 👍
We can't deny that we were delighted when #51 won Le Mans. It's a fabulous piece of machinery, now with a forever legendary story attached to it. 🔴
I would literally sell my first born son for this model...
Whilst we would naturally like to discourage this, we understand the temptation. 😍
@AmalgamCollection Hahaha the temptation is too strong
How old is he? Interested if he can shovel snow.
@michael-masi-2021 Hahaha there is no son yet, but I ll hit you up when the time comes
@@f1faith015 daughters also welcome at a 2:1 exchange rate. Helps if they can operate a loom.
The engine tho ❤
The details are out of this world.
only £15,000. Not bad at all
To our clients, it's a small price to pay for a slice of history. 😎
Clearly a toy for someone who can afford the real thing. $20k? Holy 💩 It's a masterpiece though.
Beyond stunning. The only people who own these are the actual teams themselves though (display model for the office). But at an average of $25,000 a car, that's not surprising!
👍🙂
Ok, I'll do just that if I ever decide to sell my car to buy one.
Jesus Christ! That is beautiful! 😢🍾🙌
Utterly superb, a Le Mans winner always deserves the best treatment!
I checked the web site, incredible cars and price. My HHR seems worthless against a mere model. 😢
I can only afford the Burago F1 cars, good to know I can trade in my vehicle to buy this one.
流石アマルガムすごいクオリティ

*HEAVY BREATHING*
I smelt gasoline when he took the engine cover off, amazing model!

This is how I treat my £15 BBurago models.
That collector mentality. 🤩 It doesn't change no matter the price level.
Excellent execution of exhaust staining, balance of details well done enough to make the mouth water with the fantastic engine bay that pulls you in as if it were a black hole! Textures of the various components captured beautifully with that " just right" prototype stance that screams speed! We congratulate Amalgam for continued excellence in scale replica action, and in this case it stepped up it's game big time. Keep the molds clean and sharp, you'll be selling quite a number of this one. Well done Amalgam!
This 👆 is the feedback we love to see! Thank you for your kind words and, yes, we've already sold over 160 of these models - it's instant classic after last year's Le Mans win!
Wow! The engine detail and realism is epic. Great job!
Hmmm, wondering if they're letting out any Secrets
Beautiful model! And it costs only 20k dollars 😄
Watched the video and went to Google the price, I came back and just watch it here better.😂
At first I was disappointed because the carbon weave on the bodywork looks way off scale, but then I remembered that it’s an amalgam model so I look for pictures of the real car and the weave size is spot on 😂
🎯
your 15k has to get you something!
I think we need ant man tech so that we can drive this
Absolutely amazing ❗😮🎉🏆
now crank it
Das ist verrückt wie detailgetreu der 499p dargestellt worden ist
20K?? Am i missing something?
Every one of the models we make is the very best we can achieve with no effort or expense spared. Our clients will accept no less.
You get what you pay for. This is art, not a mass produced model that you can buy for a $1000.00.
@@AmalgamCollection how long after release can I still order a specific model?
@@davidaugustofc2574That would entirely depend on the model, its edition size and availability. In this particular instance, though the 499P is limited to 499 models, we only build these in small batches at a time, so we have no fulfilment available until the summer due to strong demand from Ferrari and our customers. But models in the edition remain available for now.
@@seanmain3081 yet it lacks a lot of feature other small time shops wouldn't skip out on. No functioning electronics on a 20k static display model is a scam. Imagine having this and you cant even turn on the headlights to make it look nice in your display.
$20,000 🤯
Very difficult purchase no matter your wealth level. I mean, yes it's a beautiful piece of art. But DAMN
People have paid more for trainers. 👟 But yes, wealth and the concept of value are both very relative.
❤❤❤
This is awesome but looks expensive af. Wonder if they make a Porsche RSR
We have previously built a Hurley Haywood's 1973 911 RSR and a 2016 example at 1:18 scale (www.amalgamcollection.com/search?q=911+rsr). Though these are currently unavailable, we are anticipating another batch of the 1973 car in just a few months!
Absolutely amazing!
wow
Bellissima ❤
That's just amazing!! All those details.. thanks for sharing this video 👍🏼
We're glad you liked it!
I’m too poor to be watching this video
As much as Ferrari trust us with their data, they wouldn't approve our models if they contained anything they wanted to keep secret. 🤐
Table surface was slightly tilted:
**drops on the floor**
…
Our models have some weight built into their bases and cases - it will take a team of well prepared and vindictive cats to swipe our 499P onto the floor.
Would not be surprised if the engine did actually work
Wouaou elle est trop belle je rêverait d en avoir une. Magnifique je reste sans voix.
Can I have one for.... Testing? 😉
for $20k the engine damn well better work
esto es una OBRA DE ARTE!!!!!!!!
just needs drivabillity😁
Waiting for the 1/18 😅
Whilst we can't confirm a launch date yet, we are hoping to have our first batch of models at 1:18 completed in the summer.
@@AmalgamCollection 1:18? It’s not my scale, but I am going to make an exception for this model! How may I buy one in the US? By the way, the Drivetribe videos are amazing! The 1/4 Red Bull is nuts! I have 2 1/4 McLaren MP4/14s that somebody made as a RC car. It’s very accurate, aside from the suspension. I am rebuilding that now and your company is my benchmark. Damn, you guys are good.
@@seanmain3081 We appreciate your kind words! Models are available on our website though, for the 1:18 scale 499P, we are currently allowing customers to register their interest to be the first to know when these models are available.
@@AmalgamCollection I will register. Thank you for your reply. Been a fan since your beginning. I can’t believe where you have taken modeling.
If there is to be a 1/18 version of this car, will it have opening parts? And can it be purchased in installments?
Ah yes the perfect tuorial!
Simply stunning in every conceivable way
real Beauty
how much does it cost?
It’s beautiful and then I saw the price… $20,000 😨
Unfortunately, our level of detail with no effort or expense spared, does come at a cost. Though we intend to release an 1:18 scale version later in the year. 😁
Looks absolutely stunning. Of course, for €1k less I bought a mint Miata ND1 and have ton more fun with it, but still, it does look good.
Donerei un rene per guidare quest'auto ...Fantastica!
It's great and all but why is it more expensive than a brand new Dacia?
There are many reasons, but summarised: we are completely different businesses. We make the best model we can with no effort or expense spared; the development of one of our 1:8 scale models can take up to 5000 hours and so, when we set prices for each model, we not only have to cover the costs of that initial development, but the build and much more besides (like acquiring the data, getting the licenses from the relevant manufacturers, building the tooling, etc). We are a low-volume business, as every model of ours is handmade, and we do have to recoup the costs of development, which is not an inexpensive process. Dacia, however, have specialised in the mass production of low value (in car terms at least) vehicles, allowing them to recoup their costs through large volume sales of full size cars.
Amazing. Stunning. But almost 20k pounds? eeeeh naaaaaaaaaaah
Perfection sadly does comes at a literal cost. 😔 Though we intend to release an 1:18 scale version later in the year!
Stunning just stunning
Great!👍
I love that you love it that much. It truly is a work of art in real life and in model form.
Wow, I’ve seen and built a couple racecars in 1:12 but this thing is up there with the best, engine bay looks amazing, only the cockpit needs a bit of attention
hola está muy bueno #Excelente: ⭐⭐⭐
💯💯💯💯💯🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Instructions were not clear, i bought a real 499p
In which case, could we interest you in a bespoke version of your car? 😏

Incredible. The price though 😱
That's an incredible piece of art. Love it! I wish I could afford one. ❤👍
A Ferrari, any Ferrari from Amalgam has always been a model collecting goal of mine. It's just that this goal might take a while to achieve 😅
Looks amazing and WOW $20,000 ? expensive, ! price of real car.
Unfortunately, our level of detail requires a significant amount of time to development and that does come at a cost. However, we are releasing a model at 1:18 scale later in the year which may be more suited. 😁
Buyers of these models will not find what they concider a 'real car' at 20K...More like a 100K +
Just Ordered Mine! . . . (In my dreams)
God almighty that is absolutely stunning you don't happen to have a spare one I can have for nothing , just kidding ha ha
This is Pure Art, i wish i had 18.000€ to buy one!😍
I'll buy one of these when I win the lottery!
We look forward to it!
The CF weave certainly doesn't look 1/8th scale. For $20,000 I'd expect better.
499 pieces made only.. I see what you did.
👀
😮😮....mio Dio in paradiso!
Shut up and take my money! This is gorgeous!
499р не дорого , беру
please send me one
wow..

Man i loved so much and relaxing. My father loved too!
We're glad you both enjoyed it!
Le prix est à la hauteur des détails… incroyable !😳
Merci! 🤩
Hello how are you? Have you made a sponsorship agreement for this or any other video of yours? I'm planning to open a UA-cam channel and I'm curious about sponsorship fees. If you made a sponsorship deal, can you tell me how much you paid?
Ich würde eines nehmen 😊
i never understood why the door is so small, its like a door for a 6 year old and maybe the ultra wealthy rich kids climb in it and think its massive. so i guess its appealing to the little boys that get the exclusivity of sitting in one and going WOAHG COOL
This is infact the proper way to handle it.
Can i play with it and do little races
A to scale Circuit de la Sarthe still will measure over a mile. Time to get those trainers on! 👟
Combien ça coûte ???
That car is worth more than my entire collection alone and I have 74 models from decent brands.
74 is a huge collection! We're sure you have some fantastic models in there.
wow thats a great model from which brand is it ?
Amalgam Collection. 😏
The first thing I would do if I win the lottery is buy one of these models.
Ferrari struck gold not only when they took the overall win at LM 24H 2023 after a 50 year works factory hiatus from Le Mans but to commission Amalgam to model this now legendary masterpiece is a great win.
An incredible moment in their history. And now they proudly display our models in their offices! 🤩
Please don't see what I do with mine lol 👍
j'ai vu le prix j'ai pleurer. C'est énorme. Plus de 18 500 euros c'est abusé quand meme
It Looks so Good 🤩🤩🤩🤩
❤
Omg, i want this so badly
Lol Gloves. If I can't play with it, it's worthless.
