Being in my mid 60's I'm gettting a little past my coaster days..but this was pretty cool. I'm not sure all my organs were where they were supposed to be when finished..but worth it.
it is really hard to explain velocicoaster to someone who hasn't ridden it, yet. it's not gigantic, it's not stupid-fast. it's just extremely dense. there are no breaks, no moment to catch your breath before the next element. the only straightaway is during the second launch, and you come flying, around a corner, immediately into that, and when you exit, you immediately bank and turn into the top hat. the entire ride, you are turning, banking, looping, climbing, falling. i can't think of another coaster that does that.
I don’t know if I’ve ever experienced another coaster in my life that put me through so many elements so quickly. The second half in particular is like a fever dream, the speed and the adrenaline making you wonder what the hell just happened😂
@user-xs8sg1ju3g completely agree, Eejanaika is a completely different animal in my opinion, its like X2 on steroids (ive ridden X2 also), I've never been on anything as intense as that ride, especially the 1st time riding it. Flying dinosaur was my favourite though, those pretzel loops are brilliant!
@@user-xs8sg1ju3gthink about some of the european coasters too, ride to happiness, hyperia, taron, zadra and voltron are all able to compete with these
Flew to Florida from the uk about a year back. I’ve been on so many coasters but this one is just on a different level, not a second to relax, just constant pulls, loops, drops it never stops. I rode it over 20 times whilst in Florida and I have no regrets (riding it at night was even better too) great coaster!
Possibly one of the best... just a massive shame it doesn't feature onboard audio/a soundtrack, like the queue has... that would massively enchance the experience! When a way older coaster like Hulk can do it, surely this could be implemented!
Onboard audio can cause train/car issues on roller coasters depending on the physics needed, in fact Universal's other coaster the RIp Ride Rockit is universal's most expensive coaster because it's been plagued with ride issues since being built, one of which was that the on-board audio caused weight balance issues. I know, "why don't they engineer it to account for that extra weight" is not so simple. This is the engineering conundrum for roller coasters because they have to be tailored to their locations. Even things such as being designed between two tall buildings can cause wind issues for the coaster. It's very interesting reading up about the design stipulations that go into coasters.
Omg yes. I say this all the time. Im disabled & the last roller coaster I went on, megaphobia in oakwood Wales. I went on it 30 times straight. This was 13 years ago. I'll never go on another coaster. So I live vicariously through UA-cam videos. It's best when I'm falling asleep & my meds are working, I have the fan on & sometimes my stomach even goes, as I'm between sleep & awake lol. But the point is, front row povs, they're rubbish. This pov & back seat. I can ride along with you on my way to sleep. This video is brilliant. Made my night. Your videos matter, more than you might think x
Man, tough call between this and Gwazi as the best coaster in florida. However, it has the BEST inversion in florida thats for sure 🤟 ty for the video man, quality is awesome
You know what I like on certain rides? The story behind them, like it’s crazy to think we are literally riding a rollercoaster in a pen filled with dangerous velociraptors😅
Great channel man and video! Unfortunately was not able to get on Velocicoaster because it was randomly down for days a few weeks ago, but it looks legit! Was at least able to get on the Hagrid coaster. Thanks for posting these great coaster videos!
There’s a quick bit where it fakes you out and makes you think you’re going left and then quickly goes right and that freaked me the hell out right around 0:46. And that second launch is insane. It’s MUCH better than Hulk. Hulk made me feel ill and I never get sick on any rides.
Haven’t had the chance to go there sense I was about 10 but the top hat on this ride is just so pretty on the eyes. The layout is so beautiful and well executed.
East Coasters man, every time I see a coaster wish list video for a park, it's 80% RMC something and like Mack launched spinner. I wish more parks would get a nice Intamin Multi-launched coaster, I'm talking Blitz like the Detroit Lions defense. Why aren't more people wanting this model that works damn well? REAL TALK - If Michigan's Adventure added just half of this coaster, it would be a better park than Worlds of Fun, Valleyfair, and maybe even Dorney. Just Saying...
I rode this with my wife and my young son, i asked them if they saw the rocks all along the ride, also the water in the last turn down, they told me: No way! we were with the eyes closed all the time, this thing goes too fast!. Haha.
VelociCoaster at Universal Orlando -vs- Mako at SeaWorld Orlando is a tough call. VelociCoaster definitely wins as far as thematic fun goes. Even with an Express Pass, the line was looooong, though. And this was on two weekdays in November (not Thanksgiving break). Mako, SeaWorld's hypercoaster, is smooth, fast, and amazing. I was able to ride it four times in a half hour; I had an Express Pass, but didn't need it. I visited Universal and SeaWorld back to back. Universal is a lot more immersive and fun. SeaWorld's Pipeline and Mako were my favorite coasters.
@@EastCoasters I thought Hagrid's Motorbike was just meh. I loved the thematic fun, but the ride itself wasn't super exciting. I didn't like that I couldn't use my Express Pass there, but I get it. Universal Orlando definitely beats Universal Hollywood, so much more to see and do!

I do it often and for me it’s like you let the ride take you where it wants you to be. You let your body fully feel the elements the designer of the coaster wants you to feel. If you hold on to the restraints, I have the feeling that I have more tension in my body and feel the elements less than holding your hands up. And with a coaster like velocicoaster it like I feel the queen of the raptorworld 😁 But I guess for everyone the reason why they do it, can be different.
People shouldn't be allowed to have loose items on coasters like this. It's literally a life threatening decision these idiots make for their own personal gain. Disgusting.
