Fishing for Reds & Trout in Arroyo City TX (South Texas Kayak Fishing)

- Decided to head out to Arroyo City, TX to do some scouting of a new area with my Old Town Sportsman PDL 120. Finished the day with 1 keeper red and 2 keeper speckled trout. Red was caught on one of my homemade lures and both trout were caught on topwater using a Mirrolure She Dog. Wet some lines and God bless peeps!!

Nice. I'm also a kayaker from the 956 with a trolling motor on it.
Nice day out on water. You should do a video on your trolling motor setup how its mounted to kayak and how battery hooked up and mounted. I really like how its next to your right side were you can steer and control speed.

Just caught a 25 in red close to spot you caught that one red keeper this last weekend! Nice video. Might need to try that top water.

At 7:00, I got nervous for you guys with that Hardhead right over your legs. The two pectoral and one dorsal fins have toothpick like bones that can inflict a very painful wound. The pain can have some relief by rubbing some of the natural antidote slime off the fish's ribs and on to the wound. Not kidding. It helps, but it best helps if you don't get hurt in the first place.
