I really love the effects of laying the colors on top of one another for the sky. I seem to have issues with water control and would have unwanted blooms. I feel like it would be a matter of luck for me to get it right
Be sure to keep an incline on your paper so when you drop the next color it runs over the previous one, you will do fine, and thank you for watching Carolls Farm
It is important to have it wet enough to flow, you drop the color on top and let it flow over the previous color to get a beautiful glow. Thank you for watching wiggapi
You have such calm energy when you paint that makes you a delight to watch and learn from. Thank you.
Thank you Jas, much appreciated
Really impressive how the sky turned out with those 3 colors! Nice.
Thank you donna
Karel here I always mixed not laid on top. This was so helpful. The vibration was such an interesting concept. Lovely painting thank you.
Hey you, thank you for watching Karen, glad you enjoyed
The colours are gorgeous.
Thank you user, give them a try, I think it could change the way you paint

That's a great video! How wet is a previous wash of the sky when you apply next one?

Was that cobalt blue used in the sky?
Yes, Winsor Yellow, Permanent Rose and Cobalt Blue, makes a sky that glows. Thanks Donna
