Give it a go Adilson I am sure you will enjoy it its a very fun engaging way to fish for about anything! I may love doing this more then anything else!
Hi Jerry, Cleaning up on the fluke with your fly rod. Looks like you're having a good time. We seem to have all small fluke down here but it's fun to catch the small one and the sea robins. Take care, Mickey
Thanks Jerry. Alot of shorties here in south Jersey this year too. We are having a good run of Kingfish and Sharks now and I think it will be up your way soon. I'm pretty sure you will be on it.
Thx for another nice vid Jerry. I finally pulled the trigger on a fly setup. I’m waiting on a Redington Crosswater 9’ 8 wt. Hope you’d be available for any tutorial on the beach when I see you. Thx for the motivation.
Thanks Arnold and much welcome, Sure thing will do any questions just ask anytime sure I will see you soon. Its a good rod I have used them and they preform great. Ill have some flys for you when i see you ok!
Quick clarification! Most flys used were 1/0 not #1 but #1 be just as great I am sure I use them too - I used some sized 2/0 those I make bigger longer hair but use smaller eyes so cast well like the 1/0 with med eyes same weight but bigger fly!
Nice catch. I am a beginner saltwater fly fisherman and was wonder if you have any tips or techniques when fly fishing for fluke and what type of fly line would you recommend for fly fishing for fluke?
I get most of them using clousers and half halfs. Weight line helps get it down but I do well with floating as well. Big key is the fish have to be there! But if your new go with a fast sinking line and a pocketfull of size 1/0 half halfs or clouser minnows yellow pink or chartreuse all work great
NICE SETUP sounds like a dream! Hit alot of area some good fishing! Love the flatfish on the fly or for the matter anything that cooperates lol Love the floating line when I can use it with a long leader set up. I will have to check on your adventure hope you do a video!!! Catch you soon and thanks as always!
Thanks Fred, It is better but I don't like knowing or not knowing if its on or off but will have to try sometime thanks for the insight! dont have the budget for a new camera right now but will keep in mind!

Fish Your Way I learned a lot from your videos. Invite us for your next fishing trip’ to Jones Beach
it looked like the old brick apartment bldgs. across the bay on the Rockaways (just guessing).
Was about some there! Thanks ted!

I try a bunch of different area, types and terrain
