@@IntentionalTech If only Apple made an iPad Pro Mini with 120Hz and OLED. Unfortunately doing so would likely cannibalize the sales of the 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro models.

I've always been an Android user, but after handling an iPad mini for the first time, I started wanting one purely because of the form factor. Now I'm on the fence about getting one, because I already have a Tab S9+ and don't know whether it's worth it to have just one Apple device just because it's easier to carry it around. Are there any disadvantages to just leaving the Fold open all the time?
@iomagine i leave mine open constantly while at home. Then fold it when I have to go somewhere. Imagine having an ipad mini like device with an oled 120 htz screen that also has wifi and cellular. Not to mention you can hook it up to an external monitor and go into dex mode which will transform it into an amazing computer ( not a mirror of your device). I love mine!
@@iomaginethere is no limits on folding / unfolding and also its kinda satisfying if you know what i mean... 😅 I have fold and ipad pro 11' and see no issue in single apple device honestly.. but my usage is only youtube at bed and movies on the trips, the rest is covered by fold.
What’s going to happen is since people like me and many others use the iPad mini for basically everything anyway, traveling, tossed in a backpack hiking to locations etc. They are aiming to make two models in the future, a IPad Mini 8 and iPad Mini 8 Pro. Just like they do with iPhones. To prove this is the case, they introduced the pro pencil to iPad mini 7. In a couple years it will be developed enough to run all the hard programs and be called the iPad mini pro as second option
@@IntentionalTech I loved the iPhone mini which was my favorite phone. The only reason they stopped making it was because on a survey the screen to watch media was too small. It nailed everything else perfectly. The iPad mini doesn’t have that problem and have big plans for it
I just got the alldocube mini 60 pro. A cheap 8 inch android. After trying out the ipad pro 11, and z fold 6....i honestly sold both and got this cheap cellular android tablet. For basic tasks i honestly enjoy this so much more. Also the cellular connection is much more useful than i expected. Just pop in a cheap mint mobile sim and i have a $150 cellular tablet for $13/unlimited data
I've always been tempted to get a sim version but I can always just use my personal hotspot. Would be great to go out without my phone once in a while though.
I just bought my iPad mini 7. It's the first iPad mini that I've owned after owning the regular sized iPad since they came out in 2010. I'm trying to wean myself off of the Kindle Oasis for reading. What settings do you use on your mini for reading? I'm tinkering but haven't found the right mix yet. Thanks for the video!
I quite like the 'Sepia' page colour with single line spacing and justified alignment at a full margin. In bed, I'll usually switch over to the 'Dark' page colour. My go to font is Caecilia and I make good use of True Tone and Night Shift to block blue light in the evenings.
The game is Hades and the controller is the GameSir G8 Plus: geni.us/eBoEOwA (Amazon affiliate link) I made a video about it here: ua-cam.com/video/xlL9jTSNgLc/v-deo.html
Love the iPad mini as well… The only thing I really dislike is that they kept the exact same design, I wish they would have slimmed the bezels and maybe make it a little thinner.
I bought iPad mini7, too. It's good companion device along with my Macbook Air. I saw Japanese textbook in the video. Are you studying Japanese language?
Awesome. I started learning Japanese during the pandemic but lost momentum because I had to focus on French. Planning to start again next year because one of my goals in life is to learn a non-European language.

Great Video thanks! I've got the mini 7 and replaced my older iPad 9th with it. It's just perfect in size, weight, performance, like the iphone 13mini. I can use it much better for note taking, reading books or PDFs, or just consuming social stuffs. We need an ipad mini 8 (PRO) with 120hz oled display, faceid and 1-2mm thinner bezels and stage manager feature and a new iphone mini would be great... i know people are stupid and want bigger phones.
Thanks! That'd be sick. Weirdly I love the iPad mini as well as the iPhone Pro Max. I think they just kind of converge on the kind of size that works for me. I do wish Apple would bring back the iPhone mini for its fans though.

No worries. I really like it. Gave the Apple one to my Dad.
I can sort of relate. I got a z fold and I almost only use it in tablet mode around the house. Not using my bigger tablet nearly as much now.
I’d love to try a foldable. Can imagine I’d do the same.

I love the form factor of the mini but stuck to my 5G 11” M4 pro because of that tandem oled for gaming.
The Mini definitely hits its limits on gaming. I tried Resident Evil but it stutters a lot.
