I’m an artist and the 11” iPad Pro is my main content creation & media consumption device when at home. But when I really wanna travel light, I always grab my iPad mini 7. It’s the perfect size digital sketchbook when on the go. It fits in my jacket or cargo pants pocket when walking around NYC. I hardly know it’s there. But when inspiration strikes, i can whip it out & sketch something. For me it’s not a question of which one. I’ve got both, and they compliment each other really well for my needs.
I bought a mini 7 as an upgrade from a mini 4. I don’t understand the hatred for the tablet with some You tubers out there. Not everyone wants an M4 chip in a huge screen that will not fit in a pocket. Doctors and small plane pilots are two examples that spring to mind. This fits the gap between my iPhone 13 and my Mac. Plus, I get the chip for Apple Intelligence without having to pay more money to upgrade my phone.
Switched from an M1 Pro to a mini, and it completely changed what I look for in a product. The mini is amazingly ergonomic, light, and fit in a jacket pocket. The pro models by comparison are heavy, with a lot of added stuff that isn’t as particularly important for my use case. Surprisingly, the downgrade in speakers or screen type has never bugged me. The only feature I truly miss is FaceID
I traded in my pro 12.9 (2020) for a mini 7 and it was the best decision ever. I have a MacBook Air that does everything I need a computer to. I wanted a true tablet and not a crossover product that’s trying to be both. I take notes a lot and grab this mini all the time. It fits in all my bags and I actually reach for it more than my phone now. I think apple knows their customers. In my opinion for note taking and entertainment consumption the mini is the best. Illustrators and creators I think will appreciate a pro.
I updated from the 5th to the 7th Gen. it’s the size that works for me - anything bigger would probably spend most of its life in a drawer - and really complements my Product Red iPhone 13 Mini. Thanks for the content.
I have both iPad Pro 11 inch for at home and for vacation travel, I also have the iPad mini seven for out and about on a daily basis. It’s a great combination. If I didn’t have a MacBook Pro, I would suggest the iPad Pro 13 inch and an iPad mini combo. Which I see some people here have and it is a great combo.
@@shameermuljiDepends what you need. I would much prefer the Tab S10 Ultra with the software features if I was still primarily taking notes. It’s a lot more versatile and if it has the same chips as the iPads, I’d never use an iPad again in a heartbeat.
@@Weaselszone I’d like to agree, but this is personal preference. with OLED, Apple has topped others at their own game. I’ve used the S9 and S9 Ultra, and my best experince was with the 11 inch version. the Ultra is NOT a laptop replacement and is ridiculousy too large. Samsung had a bust with their S10 lineup
I have booth m4 11” and mini 7. Debating the size of the mini is great and compact but the mini display and battery life not good but it’s portable. In Canada the mini 7 with 512gb cost $1200 tax in crazy the M4 11” 512gb with keyboard $2100 crazy
I have an iPad Pro 12.9 M1 5G since 2021, replaced the battery and gotten a brand new, refurbished unit instead. For work & research simulations, i have a P14S Gen 2 workstation Laptop. So far the iPad Pro M1 has been my daily driver for reading emails, reading research papers and multimedia consumption. But on certain times, i find it kinda heavy with the MK & apple pencil 2 altogether. I am somewhat thinking to get iPad Mini 7 as a side device to go with my iPad Pro M1 12.9. Maybe I’ll just grab the base model + cellular.
I agonized over this purchase for weeks - do I go pro or mini. I owned the first gen iPad and sold it. I owned the second gen iPad and sold that too. I haven’t owned an iPad for over a decade. Back then, it seemed pointless to own an iPad and I think it was because of a lack of apps. I bought the mini. It just seems like such a cool device and I wanted a cozy couch and bed companion. I really love the pro screen and additional speakers but I decided to ease back into iPad land with the mini - got the 256 gb model with the Apple Pencil Pro. I’ll be keeping my eye on advancements to the iPad Pro line. In short, mini for me because of the cozy cool factor.
I have the M1 MacBook Air with 8g ram, should I still get the iPad Pro m4 or mini 7? But I have a12z iPad Pro from 2020 white broken Face ID and the battery is getting worse ….which should I upgrade?
I’ve been looking at getting iPad Mini 7 but I already got iPad Pro 11 inch M4 and MacBook Pro M3. So now, the question is for me, why get the mini if I already got a smaller iPad, 11 inch? I’m asking myself. 😂 But yet I almost press the buy button a few times for iPad mini 7. 😳
Mini is best. I’m a self made billionaire and my work and research can be done from a couch, kitchen table or on a plane etc. tossed in bag and I’m setting up base camp in a remote canyon as gold mine owner reading maps and using LiDAR. Documenting discoveries. Smaller is better like Glock 26 or Micro Draco or Hammer Drill also in backpack
iPad sucks. Samsung galaxy tab S10 ultra waaaaaaaaaayyyy better more advanced features. Plus you get the s pen with the tablet but with iPad you need to pay more and buy it separately.
No one NEEDS any iPads but I love having the 13” M4 and mini 7. Great combo!! ⭐️

You have commented this on every iPad Mini 7 video on YT 😂

This exactly!!!

They use the mini at poker tables in casinos to track play

Recently sold my m4 manily it causes headache and fatigue mainly because of LOW PWM THE BOIGHT IPAD MINI 7 CELLULAR ITS SO PERFECT
M4 pwm strains my eyes after awhile not as bad as it used to be but it's still there 😩
The background music is dope not loud and annoying like other channels

I had both m4 sizes and just bought the mini 7 and honestly the best tablet to own…
the M4 Pro it is not even close. it is the best iPad on the market right now.

Ipad Mini 7 and Pro 13 inch is the best Combo. But if you can only have one the 11 is a great option in between.
LOW PWM on m4 it causes headache reviewers are blinded bt money so they dont disclose about this

Pro for me! I tried the mini 7 but just didn't like the display
How did u get that iPad mini 7 for $400?
There were a couple deals for $100 off a few weeks after the mini came out! Costco and other similar retailers had it.
The review is incomplete because there is 11” iPad which is missing.
That is the 11"
iPad mini performance isn’t short of anything - so iPad Pro is for those who rely on iPad Pro 🤷🏽♂️
Crystal sharp? Is that a thing? 😂😜
HAH I noticed that when watching it back.

u use them both and u have 2 macbooks. are u out of ur mind

NEITHER. SAVE money and buy a good laptop
Laptops are for different purposes. iPads don't want to replace the laptop (at least not all of them), but can be a good sidekick in most cases.
