Great video, you broke it down for beginner's and for those of us that have been playing for a while but neglect our short game practice. Most of us average golfers probably miss 1/2 to 1/3 of the greens in regulation. Chipping and pitching is the stroke saver... I prefer to use my sand wedge for my pitching and chipping, some use different irons for chipping and wedges for pitching... I like one club and adjust my swing as needed vice changing clubs and developing the feel and finesse for each of those clubs. Thanks for posting and keep em coming...

Great basic chipping tutorial, really liked how you defined each term as you went along... I know how hard this is for you to produce such a fine teaching video. Thanks ever so much for sharing this with us.... NOW... lets add one more complication... a thick lie... taller grass and then even taller grass.... that is the part that freaks me out.... I have to reduce my distance expectations in the thick lie... I always come up short.... your advice??

It's great how you explain the golf terms by demonstrating, and also give reasons/examples for each step. Easy to visualise, understand and remember while on the golf course and practice green. Hey Paige, I used to in the early to late 90s, chip with open stance, but feet together. Always used my 56 degree lynx wedge, I was deadly, now I really can't chip worth a crap compared to before. Used to take the wedge little outside and bring it back square. I coukd control distance and spin. Now I suck. What do think I'm doing wrong.
