Honestly Paige I am really enjoying these Being Basic videos as i am just restarting my game after taking a 7 year break and these videos are really helping me to refresh my skills, Thank you so much, :-)
I'm a lady golfer and would've KILLED to have a fellow lady golfer as an instructor. Love your teaching style and how you break everything down. Keep killin it
I am really digging this being basic series! You are so great at explaining golf in easy to understand terminology! Would love to know your mindset when it comes to bunkers, i've found that to be such a mental hurtle for a beginner like me! Keep up the great content!
Thank you Paige . Big help, Short game is my worst part of my game I hope to take onboard what you teach and hopefully drop some more vital strokes. love your videos and tips
Great video, you broke it down for beginner's and for those of us that have been playing for a while but neglect our short game practice. Most of us average golfers probably miss 1/2 to 1/3 of the greens in regulation. Chipping and pitching is the stroke saver... I prefer to use my sand wedge for my pitching and chipping, some use different irons for chipping and wedges for pitching... I like one club and adjust my swing as needed vice changing clubs and developing the feel and finesse for each of those clubs. Thanks for posting and keep em coming...
Great! I have never choked down when chipping. I will try that today at the range! My distances are usually off too. I use my 9 iron & gap wedge mostly.
The comment you made about saving a life after the Dubai tournament broke my heart... Im really glad you care about people. Listen to rock and roll suiside from David bowie it saved my life
You should do a video on divot and pitch mark repairs and course etiquette. It seems very few people know how to or take the time to properly fix them.
Thanks for the basic series. Would like to learn more non-swing info. Things like when and where to use certain clubs. (Like not using a three wood in the high rough. Thank you Arnie.
Great basic chipping tutorial, really liked how you defined each term as you went along... I know how hard this is for you to produce such a fine teaching video. Thanks ever so much for sharing this with us.... NOW... lets add one more complication... a thick lie... taller grass and then even taller grass.... that is the part that freaks me out.... I have to reduce my distance expectations in the thick lie... I always come up short.... your advice??
Hey Paige this is Amy I enjoy watching your videos I enjoy playing golf with my fiance I still need a lot of practice so I'm going to continue watching your video you are my role model as a woman playing golf thank you so much girl
Been playing terrible golf for over 25 years. Been improving steadily and loving golf ever since finding and following this series. It's great how you explain the golf terms by demonstrating, and also give reasons/examples for each step. Easy to visualise, understand and remember while on the golf course and practice green. You are a natural golf teacher. Thank you.
I follow these tips sometimes I they work a treat sometimes the lie is so bad that I have to improvise a bit and that’s where I come undone. Good video anyway keep sharing the great content.👍🏽👏🏽
I think you forgot the part where you chunk it, throw your club into the woods, curse profusely, then go sit in the cart sulking while the rest of your party stands around uncomfortably.
Great video. I'm a horrible golfer. Usually around 100, but the short game really kills me. I can't seem to figure out which club to use for a certain distance within 50yds. I'll try your tips. Maybe I'll figure it out. Thanks.
I recommend that you try an open stance with short (60 yards or less) shots. Line up the ball in line with your leading foot or big toe. Enjoy as your control and consistency improves.
K... So I've been playing now for a year! Down to playing consistently in the upper 80s to the lower 90s. The one thing that stood out to me that is very important is to choke down on the club!!!! Man it's hard to remember all this stuff!!!! Hahaha
So you’ve only been playing golf for a year?! Never played before on you’re life and been playing for a year and you’re shooting in the upper 80’s??!! You either are a phenom, a liar or haven’t figured out how to correctly count your strokes.
A true spurren Warrior would ask if I could shine the Mallet for the slow group next? I have seen the laser eyed and simply want to be on the front line. =)
Hey Paige, I used to in the early to late 90s, chip with open stance, but feet together. Always used my 56 degree lynx wedge, I was deadly, now I really can't chip worth a crap compared to before. Used to take the wedge little outside and bring it back square. I coukd control distance and spin. Now I suck. What do think I'm doing wrong.
Nice instruction, Paige. I enjoyed it. So tell me, is a "bump and run" a chip or a pitch shot? Seems like a chip with a PW or a short iron, IMO. Do you use the bump and run shot at all?
Really great video. Thanks for sharing so much information and techniques on this part of the game. Great delivery too, must be tricky to not errrm and umm all the way through. Lol. I’m wondering if there’ll be an outtakes video soon though. Haha. 😊
I watched about 15 chipping videos today, this one was the best. You covered everything. And easy to understand.
Hi Lizzie
Yup
I too.. thx Paige👏

Thanks for your input. My friends been wanting me to to join. But I never played golf b4. Besides mini golf as a kid
I liked your shaft grip, especially when you choked down on it, that looked very effective.
You really are a great teacher. Explain it well. Have you ever thought about picking teaching golf?
Hello Paige, great instructions, making a tough part of golf look a little easier to perform, thank you
Paige your chipping skills are so simple you are the greatest teacher. THANKS 😌👍.
Great! I have never choked down when chipping. I will try that today at the range! My distances are usually off too. I use my 9 iron & gap wedge mostly.
Good basic tips on chipping!
Been playing for years and have struggled with this aspect of the game, this was very informative, thanks something to work on.

Love the basics, thanks! A bunker video would be awesome too! So many schools of thought, sometimes I don't know what to do in a bunker.
She does have bunker videos, search her video content.
My bad. New to Paige's videos, didn't realize there we so many :)
Hey Paige this is Amy I enjoy watching your videos I enjoy playing golf with my fiance I still need a lot of practice so I'm going to continue watching your video you are my role model as a woman playing golf thank you so much girl

Great video Paige
I think you forgot the part where you chunk it, throw your club into the woods, curse profusely, then go sit in the cart sulking while the rest of your party stands around uncomfortably.
I make sure to get some alone time at least once a round.
Great video. I'm a horrible golfer. Usually around 100, but the short game really kills me. I can't seem to figure out which club to use for a certain distance within 50yds. I'll try your tips. Maybe I'll figure it out. Thanks.
Great Teaching !!
Always good to practice the basics!!
Thanks for your advice, will try them out on the range.
This is great good golf ⛳ instruction from a pretty lady bonus !
It’s so much easier to sit here scarfing down chips ahoy while watching you do all the work.
I love U.S.A!
You know we eat chips and watch golf in other countries too, right?
@@Rebellen007 you know chips ahoy are chocolate chip cookies right?
Hahaha.... so funny
good work paige you have a very deliberate stroke. Well done Not saying i can mimic that but at least i have some good points to follow.
Great video. Learning alot. Thanks!
Really well explained

Great content as usual Paige!!!
Great video Paige.
Nice vid! Thank you!
I find chipping the hardest part of my game but as John McClane would say, thanks for the advice pretty Paige
Awesome tips thank you
quick question Paige, how tight do you hold the golf club? It looks like you are not holding it real tight, on a scale on 1-10 what is your choice
K... So I've been playing now for a year! Down to playing consistently in the upper 80s to the lower 90s. The one thing that stood out to me that is very important is to choke down on the club!!!! Man it's hard to remember all this stuff!!!! Hahaha

Thanks Paige, nice post & Outfit. Can you please comment about yogur golf glove? Brand and size?
Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the advice. I had no idea about the hands and foot placement. Well its time hit a bunch of balls. Great job.
Fun stuff Paige👌😉⛳
Is that a KBS prototype shaft? I have it on hybrid, didn't know it can be put on wedges.
Golf 🏌🏻 on folks ⛳️👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸

The chippy part is more difficult on me than the putting game. Hopefully this helps much better thank Paige chip.
Thanks Paige, brilliant.
Good one!
Hi Paige. Is your PW a 54 degree lofted club? My GAP wedge is 50 degrees, I think. Thanks.
Nice. Thank you.
I’m not sure what this SMOKESHOW was talking about but I watched the whole thing!😉🤪🤣😍❤️🔥😘
Will you get back to posting Being Basic videos? If not do you have a recommendation for other channels to try?
Nice instruction, Paige. I enjoyed it. So tell me, is a "bump and run" a chip or a pitch shot? Seems like a chip with a PW or a short iron, IMO. Do you use the bump and run shot at all?
I do! And it is a chip. A pitch is a little longer shot.
Great video! ? Why does the ball go to right when I have a chip..... driving me crazy!!!!! Set up, feet ailment?
Keep up the Great Work Beautiful Paige!!! I only know how to play putt putt golf.
technical sound swing, Paige.
great video thanks for the tips!!
awesome paige miller
Really great video. Thanks for sharing so much information and techniques on this part of the game. Great delivery too, must be tricky to not errrm and umm all the way through. Lol. I’m wondering if there’ll be an outtakes video soon though. Haha. 😊
Okay, how about a bad lie in the rough from 40 yards off the green? I swing my pitching wedge like it was made in Louisville. Is that wrong?
Where can I sign up for private lessons? You are amazing 🙂
I use a chipper all the time.
🙃
Great legs
