I don't do economy month spreads cuz I don't need to...just a few too many spreads to hinder my anxiety. But I absolutely love how nice you set it up! And love the doodles too!
This is the most helpful and practical budget planning I've ever seen, and it might just be the thing I need to keep me on track. Thank you for making this video!
I´ve used your system with the graph for debt pay down and the envelopes for a few months now and I absolutely love it! I´m a visual person so it helps me a lot to have it in front of me like that. I´ll try to tweak it a bit this month though, and for example write 5,10,20 and so on instead of 5, 5, 5, 5 in each square, ´cause I always have to count from the beginning of each envelope to remember how much it is :P But thank you, thank you for showing this! I´ll continue to use it for a long time. :)
I have never NEVER seen a video THIS good. Thank you so much! You are so thoughtful and amazing with your spreads here. Excellent ideas! I wish you my every best :))
So great ideas! I do all my money business with excel and e-bank so I really don't have need for these kind of spreads because they would only mean douple work. But I kinda wish I hadn't a working system allready so I could adapt these :D
I really like the virtual envelopes. In theory, I could really benefit from keeping my cash in envelopes as a budgeting tool. In practice, though, my nephew steals any cash he can find. So this would be a good compromise.
I love the graph for debt pay down, but I'll have to change it for my purposes... I have a student loan over 30k and CC at 9k, so they both wouldn't fit on the same graph without tweeking it. Any ideas?
Hmm... Perhaps divide it into two sections, (split it in half on the horizontal line so the months just get a little less space) and do one side for bigger loans and one for smaller ones?
That's a great idea, thank you. I found another option too, put two diff sets of numbers on the left side, one for each of my debts! Another question: When you save for your diff things (tattoo, vacations, etc), where do you put this money? Is this the same jar (dream jar) or a savings account?
I'm happy to help! That sounds like a good idea to me! For my bigger savings (like emergency bufferts and vacations) I keep them in my savings account. For the smaller one's I keep them in cash in secret spots in my flat lol. As I mentioned, I tend not to spend cash, so I like to withdraw some money every now and then to just stow away for a rainy day :)
The envelope system is brilliant! Thank you!
I’m so happy you found it helpful!🥰
