  • Dr. Lolita M. McDavid is Medical Director of Child Advocacy and Protection at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, the pediatric hospital of University Hospitals Case Medical Center. She is responsible for community outreach and programming as well as coordinating the medical services for the Child Protection Unit, serving at-risk children and families in Northeast Ohio. She is Professor of Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine. The Office of Child Advocacy initiated Voices for Ohio’s Children, the leading child advocacy organization in the state.

    Master’s degree in public administration and urban development from the State University of New York
    Medical degree from Case Western Reserve University. After completing a pediatric residency, Dr. McDavid was a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar and a Bush Fellow in child development and social policy, both at Yale University.
