  • Thousands of students inhabit NCSU's campus on weekdays, but weekends are a different story. The sprawling emptiness of a Saturday afternoon is an invitation that's hard to turn down.

    I love your videos so much! I can only imagine the effort that goes into a simple 3 minutes long video. Quality is extremely good and the footage and the sounds make it really satisfying to watch. Your tutorials are the best on TouTube because not only we see the tricks throughout the whole video burning the image of what the trick should look like into our heads but you can explain the details really well, too. Keep it up I like your work a lot!!

    Man that looked so fun! I really liked that nose 3 to cab manny 180 line, I was not expecting you to do that nose jam to fakie.
    And those brick bank spots are always so fun to ride, I've never been to NC but I've ridden very similar set ups and they do feel really good to ride on, especially on 26" wheels lol.
    Also I believe we set the clocks back so it isn't dark in the morning when normal people leave for work, I think it originally had something to do with farmers. Kind of pointless in this day in age if you ask me.

    • @danfoleybmx
      @danfoleybmx  7 років тому

      Thanks man! Yeah at first I wasn't too crazy about doing a nose jam in the middle of the line like that. Originally tried with a wallride to fakie, but I couldn't carry any momentum at all out of it on the flat ground.

    Hey Dan, I think what I like about your vids other than the riding are the sounds and the fact you keep the camera fixed. on that note I tried a vid of my own thing to see how many different tricks i could pull on a cinder block. I'd love to see a vid of you taking on that challenge or something similar.

    That's the spirit of doing something you really like. I ride bmx too in Costa Rica and feel completly identified with the experience you shared on the video, I met a lot of nice people every day, good friends, the spots (even when they look boring or weird). I try to enjoy every single day, I'm not good or talented as you but the importante part is the fun.. You inspire, and this video is amazing, the quality, the experience... wow... keep the amazing job and enjoiment going... sorry if i wrote something wrong, the lack of practice with the language afects me ocasionally.

    I really appreciate the attention to detail in your videos, even the sounds. Do you redo lines if they don't sound right as well as look right?

    • @danfoleybmx
      @danfoleybmx  7 років тому +2

      Thank you! If I pull something, I probably won't redo it unless the sound is completely blown out. I've had times where I was trying a trick, then had to take a break and wait for something loud to stop so it wouldn't ruin the audio though.

    A video on how to hit small bump jumps would be cool

    • @danfoleybmx
      @danfoleybmx  7 років тому

      Thanks for the suggestion. Just gotta let both wheels hit and juice all the pop you can out of it. You don't want to go too fast or you'll miss the pop. Also don't want to go too slow or else you won't have the momentum. Hope that helps at least a little

    The clock things is supose to be good for energie (like consomation of electricity), but it's a thing from the past. Back then people will get up early and needed to have light for going in the field or construction worker etc. But we're ok that now it's really useless

    • @danfoleybmx
      @danfoleybmx  7 років тому +1

      Yeah I've heard numerous explanations of it, yet none of them seem to address why we still do it today. Thanks for the comment!

      They're awesome. Nice and smooth in the skatepark and when I ride street, they're big enough to run low psi for padding without having to worry about them folding. Also really light for how big they are.
