I am 69 years old and first learned the story of Rapunzel from seeing a TV cartoon of it in 1959. I read a comic book of it when I was 6 or 7. I saw it dramatized on the Shirley Temple Storybook show.(In that version the witch was played by Agnes Moorehead, who would be a regular on Bewitched years later.)I never saw Tangled and don't intend to.
