- Montverde Academy are hosting their annual MVA Invitational and their first game was an absolute breeze. At one point Scottie Barnes looked back at the defender on the fast break and stared dead at the defender lol. It was also announced yesterday that Montverde has 3 McDonald's All Americans in Cade Cunningham, Scottie Barnes and Day'ron Sharpe.

I've sat here and watched ben simmons dAngelo russell Jordan Caroline take on austin rivers , white chocolate jason williams and a few others and i watched those hs boys beat the breaks off them. I've seen Lebron James and Ben Simmons go 1 on 1 in this gym. Nba players come here all the time to play these kids and these kids hands down beat these nba dudes or keep up with them. Remember the only reason these kids go to college is because they have too. While regular schools have regular practice you come here practice has refs a shot clock its games disguised as practice . MVA soccer team beat the shit out of a mens pro team a cpl years back. It's a boarding school when I coached football here we could run up in the dorms at 3 in the morning and get the kids on the field . everything here is elite this is the best team at mva and yes these kids will beat the magic ! MVA's only comp is MVA.
