So far Starfox Assault came close to being as great as 64. It's design was sleek, music was orchestrated, banter between characters was nice, story was fresh and a break from andross, multiplayer was fun as heck. Starlink came close to being what i wanted in a starfox game. open world space/planet exploration, even had races/bounty hunting on the side. customizable ships AND you could play as the other team members. But I don't Nintendo will ever try again with starfox for a long, long time...ah well let the modding commence!

Assault's my favorite game of the series, so far anyways from what I played. I thought it improved upon the N64 version in every way.
