There is even more, Lionhearth! Recently went for Brazil revolt myself as italy myself and here are my notes: - When you revolt you still preserve the italian civ bonus - all techs still give you 1 vil. Even though you can not create vils without a card, this alone is enough to pump out villagers if you combine it with the unique advanced arsenal card for Italy. Arsenal upgrades are super useful for Brazil revolutionares anyway, since you receive so many of them. - If you had sent Gondolas card before, all techs still give you a fishing boat on top. So researching arsenal techs when you revolt gives you about 28 economical units in total. If you research more techs, you get even more. So much so that you won't really need the villager card after you revolt. - Advanced Lombards card is almost a must. 5 Lombards + advanced lombards = almost 10 lombards at work, even when you revolt. - 3 Theaters card in Age 2 for Italy means you'll get 1.8 coin trickle in total all the game, even when you revolt. - You have feitorias card available as brazil. With 9 TCs, it is an extremely good deal. - Combine all the trickles and you get: Capitalism 1.65 Gold + 3 Theaters: 1.8 gold + Feitorias: 4,5 food, 2,16 wood, 2,16 gold + Minas Gerais: 3,3 gold + 3 Basilicas (2 if you didn't ship the church card): 3 exp + 1 Factory: 7.15 any res. + Lombards (depends on what you put into them) Total gold trickle: 16.06 (without lombards). With lombards you get a lot more. It is basically a 20 vil gold eco without lombards and not considering other resources. With lombards and other resources you have about 20 more, considering you constantly use lombards. Don't forget that TC's also produce free units during this time, it is hard to calculate their values but with an educated guess: 1 vil = 2 voluntarios = 100 food - Each TC produce 9 in 146 sec. So each TC produces an equivalent of 3 food / sec. Multiply it by 9 if you have 9 TCs. If you add them all up, you theoritically can have a 67 vil economy that does not cost any pop space. Is it really woth 67 vil? No, since you can not choose what to produce instead of voluntarios, you need to have lombards constantly on etc but it is still pretty darn good. Architects cost 2 pop but it is also a great addition economically after you revolt. - With all these gold trickles, Brazil revolt is actually great if you want to go for a mercenary / outlaw build as well. After all you have 5 Lombards + 3 Theaters: 8 military production buildings for mercs. You'll miss out on mercenary contractor age up for imperial age but it is still a good deal. - Italys unit buff cards are still relevant, you especially need the inf. hitpoint card for revolutionaries. The other ones are also nice but ofc. you can't get them all, or you'll miss the timing. If you can get them all in a treaty game etc. though, go for it. Papal units will become much better. - Architects can still be produced as you mentioned - AND architects also build faster near basilicas (+30%). If you also send the freemasons card, architects build super fast, especially if you train 5 of them. You can reach 7+2 Town centers in no time. - Architects can also build forward outposts AND you can ship your papal units directly there. If you queue them constantly, that is 900 resource worth of mercs every 10 sec at enemys doorstep. - Revolutionaries take too much pop space after a while and you eventually want to switch to villagers. So you'll stop auto training of revolutionaries at one point and go for Papal units as much as you can. It is still useful tho. You can enable it at will and spam them from 9 TC instantly. + Way to beat this is actually strange. Walls. Voluntarios have very low siege. Papal units do not excel at siege either. If you have no walls, archaic infantry works great. If your civ does not have good archaic melee units, check natives or even outlaws or mercs. Even pikes will do well enough to delay them as voluntarios can not kill them fast enough. Italy / Brazil usually do not make too many Zuaves, since they already have an infantry swarm so you don't have to worry too much about them at least at first.
Bro you were on point with all those notes, the reason it is so good with Italy because Italy has such a good unique civ bonus that really helps in any revolt. Well said!!
@@dika2saja lol as much as i love how all this sounds, i don't think it is broken at all. If i was a dev, i'd just let it be. You need to spend way too many cards and spend too much time on this. It is a fine strategy for a 20+ min treaty game but even then still not OP. You are still very open to all kind of enemy swarms yourself. Your revolutionaries will lose to ANY unit 1-1, even to villagers. Papal units are very hard to mass / replace. Also, you'll give your enemy lots of EXP since your revolutionaries are so bad (Even though they are worth half exp).
Some more background, is called "Voluntario da Patria" for a reason, in 1865 during the Paraguay War, Brazil didn't really had a proper army, but at that time the patriotism was strong in the country. Using benefits and patriotic feeling, many peoples joined to fight in the war, normal peoples from all the classes, from richs to poors and even slaves, the situation changed later, but in overall. It was normal persons that joined the war without a real proper training and etc. Unlike a proper army, maybe that's the reason why they're weaker than a normal soldier, but appear in huge quantities cause they where made of normal population. Voluntario means "volunteer" and patria "country" so basically "volunteers of the country"
Feitorias being sent so late is funny to me, I play Portugal so much that my brain didn't even consider that Brasil didn't have Feitorias already shipped

Its always the same though...if u let italy scale, it messea you up. But i dont think you can get to brazil if the enemy knows your plans. But we ABSOLUTLEY LOOOOOVVVEEEE IT. Btw can you pls make aztec tower defence? They get a age 1 card which buffs defensive buildings. And other cards that give them more buildings. You can have 14 noble huts i think and they hit for about 140 dmg each with 9000hp. That is absolute fun😂
Actually it's much more HP If you send there American citadel card, with max warrior priest and vils on plaza its got like 40k + hp. 14 nobles huts with like 20K + hp and 14 war huts with like 17-18 K... Also if you sent the freemason card for villager build speed you can rebuild them super quick once you come back of the town ceremony dance. Your Tcs become super tankey aswell even houses have like 7K

Dutch won´t have the basilica spam but they can get Rio de Janeiro+Imperial Nats then easily ship the 10 Conquistadors and 24 Akan all being imperial (they cost 1k gold each but as duch, not so much of a problem to get there). @@danielbrenner7922 Unironically the key to Dutch Brazil is sending the explorer buff card / Stadhouder. 250 wood TCs with the normal Dutch shipment of Conscription helps create a strong base that can start spitting out VdPs in big quantities the minute you revolt. British age up Bonus (TC) destroyed by papal guard, two falcs also caught by Papal guard. Brazil has water never makes fishing boats.... 🙈🙈🙈

this Revolution is unfair. They get free units & still make villagers. Seriously.
Brazil has always been a bad revolt overall and now because some people found a way to make it viable with Italy it's unfair xD xD xD
@fxmorin439 but it is unfair, at least they need to nerf the lance spam.
