More than Maynard's other projects, I love that Puscifer songs are open ended and lend themselves to continual remixes and reinterpretations. Versatile indeed.
Tool will always be my favorite band and music of all time. But Puscifer will always contextually be my favorite for Maynard himself. Seeing Tool live and puscifer live, it seems like he far more enjoys and has fun with puscifer. Like he's not held down so much. Tool he comes out, says like a sentence pertaining to the city hes in. Sits pretty still the whole time, maybe a dance or two. Seems more TO ME like he's their for the band not for himself. Puscifer he's dancing, running around, playing characters, acting in videos, constantly doing remixes, etc. He even wanted to do a TV show as the puscifer characters at some point. He doesn't even talk about Tool. He literally almost exclusively in interviews talks puscifer. And when Tool is mentioned he VERY quickly and obviously tries to change the subject.

I have been a massive TOOL fan for 30 years. I have been a huge Carina Round fan for nearly 20 years. The fact that these two came together is almost like it was meant just for me! When Carina joined the band it took them to an entirely new level! I LOVE both of them individually, but together, they can’t be beat! Puscifer and TOOL are the best live bands on the planet! IMHO!
Carina Round fits Puscifer like a glove. As you stated she took them to a whole new level. She has a lovely voice and the ability to elevate MJK's songs to an even higher level. Great pairing.
This is because APC isn't his band, it is Billy Howerdel and his..Tool are a band with expectations of what they should sound like and indeed he is the lyricist and singer for that group with most of the heavy lifting done by the rest of the group.. .Puscifer exist in a more open creative space I would say (most of this he has said similar in interviews)
It is! Puscifer is his baby. When he performs with Tool, he frequently wears Puscifer merch. On social media, he mostly promotes Puscifer and Merkin Vineyards- his two biggest passions. APC is more Billy Howerdel’s, and Tool has always been equally all four guys’ creative contributions. I think he feels his most free and creative with Puscifer; able to pour into it his most carnal and “weird” side lol

Of course, Maynard and Carina are both brilliant and worldwide names, but the last album especially has shown not only the other members' indiviiduality, but their importance to Puscifer's entirety. Jeez I wish my older brother Jamie would play keys with them. He'd leap at the chance to do something so similar to what does so well. Plus he lives um... "down the road" from them (ha)
My Mom passed away in May 2022. This song helped me through this time. My Mom would always say “This too shall pass” and the rest of the lyrics remind me of her so much!! THANK YOU this song means a lot.

As a music engineer running my own studio this sounds absolutely fire. The mix and dynamics are just of the chain. But as with the other new vids its either got tons of playback or post production after the fact. Its just little moments like 1:35. The hihat is going steadily yet the drummer doesnt play them that way. Its presented as live in the studio but...
Love this rendition! I love how Puscifer reinterpret their songs and makes them sound different without changing their essence. Love the vibrato at 0:17. Frisson at 01:38! Favourite part begins at 02:37; love that guitar sound!

Having only listened to this version until now, It’s given me a whole new perspective of the sheer talent coming together on this track….even the tiny little harmonic mistake you hear on the album and you think y’ou heard it wrong every time. Seeing it just adds even more gravitas…..quite simply one of the most beautiful tracks these guys have done.
