    Wow, I've noticed that Yusef incorporates a lot of Arabic words into his everyday "Sureth" speech, it's like 90% of his vocabulary! I'd love to hear more Sureth from him, though. It's always great to have a rich linguistic mix in our discussions.

    Doctor - basmana (m) basmaneetha (f), or asya (m) asitha (f) or hakim (m) hakeema(f)
    Child - yala (m), yaldta (f)
    Island - gazarta
    Cat - qațo (m), qațootha (f)
    Horse - soosa (m), soosta (f)
    Plant - shitla, or shabooqa
    Boat - gaamee
    Cake - kehka
    Color - renga
    Hospital - beth kriheh
    Sad - psheema
    Night - leleh
    Morning - qademta
    Farm - bistana, or mazra’ta
    Light - behra
    Shirt - shoqta
    I understand that in Sureth we don’t have a lot of the modern words and so we use certain loanwords, but please don’t teach an Arabic word for something that we have our own word in Sureth.
