I've been to the Air museum in Krakow, and have seen the Me 209 remains. The Krakow air museum is one of the best aviation museums I have ever visited with LOTS of unusual stuff to see. It's a great day out for any aviation enthusiast.
The ME 310 is another Messerschmitt which wasn't mass produced and I think that it was an attempt to correct the problems of the ME 210 and presumably a stepping stone to the ME 410.

Reminds me a little of the MiG-1 with the cockpit being so far back.

My first thought was about French fighters, they all have quite long noses
@@FifingFossil You mean like Cyrano de Bergerac?
@@VikingTeddy more like C.714 (en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caudron_C.714) or D.520 (en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dewoitine_D.520)

Its like the Gee Bee but with a very long nose.
An in-line cylinder engine as opposed to the American RADIAL Engine designs.
Similar to Curtis P-37
Aww I thought this was gonna be about the fighter that lost out to the Dora
Which one was that? Edit: right 209 lol
A Gee Bee R1 would have done about as well.
keeping on with german planes, do you think you could cover the FW 189?
Shame they did not keep the landing gear configuration for the 109.
