- We walk through some of the features and sounds of the AcousticSamples B5 Organ V3 that just came out. More importantly, the sounds! At the end of the video we compare the B-5 V3 with 3 other organs I own: Logic's B3, Native Instrument's Vintage Organs, and IK Multimedia's B-3X.
You can check out the B-5 V3 here (non affiliate link:) www.acousticsa...
Drop me a comment below, which was your favorite organ?
As ever, thanks for stopping by!
Damn! Now that is a nice VST Organ, thanks for sharing brotha! Can't wait to get it myself!
I liked the previous B5 but this one is so much better than I thought it could be. Sits better in the mix too, needs less work.
First note you hit on that thing I was like 😮
The acoustics of the Leslie in a room are awesome!
Very Nice !! Quality and musicality are here , as usual !! 🔊🔥🔊🎚🎹
Thank you my big keysie 🎹🎹🎹
What Vst samples of drums, bass and guitar did you use in this production?
Hi there, I used these samples, my own home brew: bsta.rs/k0UCH1
Bass was my Fender Jazz V Marcus Miller, can’t remember what guitar, it’s either my tele or my semi hollow Ibanez am93 cheers thanks for stopping by the channel 🙏
Hmm... as a huge radics fan I really enjoy your riddims!! this one kinda reminds me of night nurse! really nice! Big up!
You got it, that is the night nurse chord progression! Haven’t made one similar in years, was a lot of fun. Thanks for stopping by. I know it’s a product review but I always try to include enjoyable music to play along with. Cheers 🍻
@@DMKahn know exactly what you mean... yesterday the postman brought me two new jazz basses to try out. So I decided to build a quick riddim to jam over. Fun fact: the one I ended up with was Material Man by Gregory... Seems like we've enjoyed the same record 😁 if your not enjoying it you can't do that sweet reggae music!
Nice! And which Jazz Bass did you end up with??
@@DMKahn not sure yet... I always played a precision and want to get my first jazz (and 5 string).. I gave the new Sire V5 (strictly passive) a shot and test it against their classic active V7 version.
Have a few days left to stay with one of them
Well I have an active 5 string and it is super deep off the gate, so I lean that way. Anyways, either will be awesome!
coool sound man what I was looking for.
Respect bro
Nice vst, excellent playing inna DSK stylee 🔥🔥🔥✌️😎👍🇯🇲❤️
❤️💛💚🍻
Can you do a video on how to make the bubble organ for reggae.
A have a bunch of organ vst but don't understand the fundamental behind it.
Back in the 1990s it was hard to find modules or synths with any decently realistic organ sounds--especially for Reggae--and then early VI versions in the noughts were not that great either. But these days there are a lot of great sounding organ VIs from different developers that often surprise me with their great sound variations. I own a few of them that I really like, but I have to admit that this one looks and sounds like yet another step up. Very nice!!
Wish I would of watched this before getting Vintage Organs. Live I use a Roland VR09 which sounds great. But recording song ideas for the band its nice having midi to drag it to loop and just makes everything faster. NI makes great pianos, but not so much with their organ.
Agree
So stoked on this VST!! Thanks Bredren
Killing those keys!! 🤙
I don't wanna see no doc
I need attendence from my DM Kahn around the clock
sounds nice, no clicking parameter?
There is clicking parameter, you can turn off or on, or adjust loudness
Also, you can adjust the colour of the key click
Great job !! 🔥🔥
This video is super helpful and dope!!
Nice info
Your the best!
I like this reggae music
big up Kahn
Respect Chris 🎚🎛
Big up dub master 🙌🏽👊🏽
Up up!!!
These are great any chance would sell me your setting for the clean, dirty and skank setting to save me some time? :)
They actually come with the plug-in believe it or not. I gave these exact presets to the developer
@@DMKahn Wow that's great. I play with a band called Fujahtive in Toronto Canada. We are working on editing, remixing and remastering our 95 Juno nominated second album for release on Spotify el al, a collab with Luciano and a new album. These presets will give us so much more flexibility on these projects. Love your Roots Radics videos. Mine and our bass players personal favorite studio crew. Great job!
Wailers video?
What do you mean brother? 😃
@@DMKahn it would be really nice if you replicated the wailers band sound. Since you do roots radics real well. The Barrett brothers, wire Lindo and Tyrones keyboard and organ movements. To me they’re sound is impeccable. I’ve been trying to replicate it on my laptop but I don’t got the power or equipment you got. I would really love to see if you did something like that. Peace
Nighhhhtttt nurseeeeeeeeeee ohhhhhh
GIVE ME A VERSION OF THE ORG YOU CAUSE I CAN'T AFFORD IT, FOR SUPPORTING YOU CHENNEL
I cant give you a plug-in that’s not mine to give!
@@DMKahn you make reggae free of charge and making money form it and you’re not even from Jamaica, so what if you give away a plug-in you bought, maybe some should charge you for make reggae.
I cannot give away something that is not mine to give. I can give you some drum samples that I made if you like. Reggae is a music genre, nobody pays anyone to make music of any kind. In fact, I free give tutorials on the subject, I give tips on making reggae for free to everyone. I do appreciate you supporting the channel, but like I said I can’t give away something that’s not mine to give. I am serious about giving you drum samples though, send me an email if you’re interested. Thekahn@gmail.com (careful spelling K A H N ) bless
i hear gregory isaacs
Indeed that is the night nurse progression !!!
