Thank you to Zildjian for putting this together! It was a huge honor to do the 12 Day drum clinic tour in Asia. Hopefully those of you who watch this get a little something out of the teaching portion in the middle and learn a little about why I play the cymbals I do. Thanks!
Do you remeber the ABR concert in august in Paris where after the show a guy came to talk with you and started crying for 10 minutes ? Well I was there and afterwards I thought I forgot to tell you one thing. You were surprised that the guy cried, but you have to understand that I bet he has done the same things I did, like watching all the videos available of you drumming on YT, getting interested in your technique, watching interviews etc Just wanted to tell you that you have a very big and positive impact on us, and what you say in this video is so inspiring You're really an amazing person, in your way of thinking and in music aswell, thank's for all.
Hey Matt, you're such a great guy... You really inspire me every single day to be better on drums so I may be able to play any ABR song someday haha! Keep it up man, I'm a huge fan of your work and for me you're one of the greatest drummers of all time! Greetings from Brazil

It was probably live, and this comment was made when the live stream was going on. Then it was edited and officially posted on the 21st. That's my guess though.
Glad that i could ask the first question. Will never forget this moment!! Was a bit nervous..Haha But Matt is a very humble guy..And he is also a great clinician.Hope to see you again!!!
@Brian Jezuit I wanted to say the exact thing!! But usually when ever i bring up the Professor Neil Peart!! RIP!!! I usually have to hear someone's smart ass comment about Neil Peart!!! Neil Peart was who inspired me to play drums!! But i follow Matt's awesome playing now!!!!! 🤟🤘🤙🤟🤘🤙
10:44 - What A Beautiful Name (Hillsong Cover) "A melhor parte" Já passei este clip umas 70 vezes sem brincadeira, você toca demais, esta música ficou muito melhor com sua bateria.
I have my A-Customs, I had an motorcycle accident and my right hand is not strong enough to play hard, but the A Customs was perfect to me, they are very loud, and this is perfect to me. Before I had a ZXT kit and, OMG Zildjian aways good to me. Vic Firth too, I love 5A Sticks and the black series Aquiles Priester, I love that guy, he plays witch Paiste cymbals, In Chicago I taste Paiste, but i'm Zildjian forever. P.S. I'm Brasilian and my inglish is not good like i desire.
hey man you should try using heavier sticks like a 2b or vic firth danny carey signature. it's easier to play louder with heavier sticks and you can still play quite dynamically.
Damn! Are they all dead in the crowd?? How can you be that motionless with this drumming? This guy is a killer! I dont wanna go in malaysia ever... They all need an electro shock!
FrankyboyFloyd I mean how many metal core bands switch time signatures etc like the guys lol go from a speedy metal beat to something with a completely different jazzy etc feel. I love Matt and this band are talented 👍
They're probably acting like that because they are so aww struck because they don't know how too express themselves like we do. They don't get see this type of playing much in countries like this👌
Bass drum slap level - Lars Ulrich. Seriously though, bass drum signal deafens all the other drums and pops out too much :) I guess you expect more readable cymbals in the mix since the whole event is brought up to us by a cymbal company. Other than that, thanks for the performance! Cheers, much love to Zildjian from Russia

Matt Greiner what size is that kick? Looks like an 18”. Great work, man.
Alex O'Day probably a 20" but could be a 18"

Wow, I'm so happy that I discovered ABR and Matt. HeZ extremely talented and technical. In many ways, he reminds me of my hero, Neil Peart

I still remembered your advice, Matt. Play hard !
Great drumming, great ideas/concepts, great drummer!
my top 10 drummerrs
Wow , what a beautiful name 😍😍😍
Great tips about the 3 toms octave thingie, and the underestimated practice time goal as well !
What a great explanation about the cymbals! Best product review I've seen so far, and he's not a salesman hahaha
The only drummer who could add in appropriate traffic laws in a drum climic.
could watch him all day long
So much fun! Hope to see you again soon Matt 👍🇲🇾
are you the guy who gave a question? very good questions tho!
Hardhome Rescue It was me.

I love this 👍
gotta have that Hillsong
Awesome
That is a good question !
Damn! Are they all dead in the crowd?? How can you be that motionless with this drumming? This guy is a killer! I dont wanna go in malaysia ever... They all need an electro shock!
FrankyboyFloyd ikr like wtf! How can you just sit there with such great diverse energetic percussion! I love Matt’s style perfect mix.
FrankyboyFloyd I mean how many metal core bands switch time signatures etc like the guys lol go from a speedy metal beat to something with a completely different jazzy etc feel. I love Matt and this band are talented 👍
Thinking the same exact thing!!!!
They're probably acting like that because they are so aww struck because they don't know how too express themselves like we do. They don't get see this type of playing much in countries like this👌
I'm surprised how low the cymbals are in the mix. They're even too low for a normal mix, and certainly for a Zildjian showcase.
Great!!!
min 36, 1st question is hommies @enseramusic
Hahahahaha! Glad that i had the chance.
45:35 Spirit Breaker groove
Anybody else’s audio was ahead of the video in some parts?! Other than that it was fuckin great!

Even during warm up solo he hit every piece except his bell under China. That poor thing hardly ever gets used
Camera moved too much 😭😭
Great performance, and yes, Jesus Christ is the way, wonderful counselor, Savior of mankind.
🤦🏻♂️
Adam Ray He's right you know, got ME face palming at YOU
So is Buddha ; )
@@MonRoeTheory Buddha is the savior of no one, don't be mistaken
Keep your imaginary friends to yourselves lads
why do people start drum solos by playing every drum one at a time? like they’re gauging what everything sounds like for the first time
impossible to hear any cymbals...
Lol the metal drums over the Christian rock was a but much.
It's perfect bro, praise the Lord!
What makes this video religious in any way?
no not really, sounded great to me
